Modding statusbar signal icon location - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
Device is a Galaxy Note 4 and ive been trying to reposition my signal icon to the left of the device to no avail. Ive tried Gravitybox, Wanam xposed and ios7 x. No go
Is there any other xposed module to help do this? And if not, a guide or tutorial to do it manually?
Thanks in advance for your help

Check theming guides. Manual status bar changing requires unpacking the frame work Apk and editing a layout xml file. Pretty easy to do with a generic guide.

Tiny Guide to Theme Note 8!

Hi,
I noticed that there ain't any themes for this tablet so here is an easy way to theme your tablet.
And of course you will need to be rooted to do this.
Also use common sense when messing around the modules. If you end up in boot loops from wrongly setting up the modules then there is always a Xposed disabler zip file in the root of our sdcard that you will have to flash in recovery to remove the bootloops.
1. First Install Xposed app.
2. Second Install xTheme Engine.
3. Here is a collection of xThemes i have collected and uploaded in one place to easier access them.
4. Fourth if you want to further mod you Tablet then try the modules here.
The Xposed Framework and xTheme Engine works on all roms. The themes will only do basic theming so do not expect to move mountains with it.
Happy Theming

[Q] Themes for Xperia Devices don't work

Hey there
I rooted my Z3 a few days ago and besides being very satisfied
with having the control for everything back in my hands
I have a problem:
I want to change the looks of the settings menu and the system UI itself
as I don't really like the one made by Sony (not flat enough for my likings).
I tried a few different themes (for root) from the Sony Cross Device Development Section
but they never changed anything of the UI, only a static wallpaper appeared a few times.
In the threads of the themes they state that you either need SuperUser Mod (which I got)
or some Xposed Module (didn't even find that).
So did anybody manage to theme the UI?

Superuser mod is not the superuser app.
You need the modified .jar.
The way to get it is to install xperia xposed via xposed framework and enable superuser mod in that module

[Q] I need help for finding module!

Hi there, I was new here, I need help, How can I customise my setting and sms by using xposed installer and xbackground? I already have the two apps, but what module do I need to download for changing background on sms and setting? I need help, I'm already rooted,
I have also the list of what I want to customise the background using xposed and xbackground:
Sms
Setting
Clock
File manager
Contact
Pls post your answer what is the module name for customising of my background,
Here's a video about how to use xbackground. check it out
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_D4WniIH2g
Hit thanks if I helped
hi
Do I need to install module to change sms background? My exposed installer is not similar on the exposed installer in the video, my exposed installer is having DOWNLOAD SECTION what is the uses of that section?
with the xposed installer, you have to install the xposed framework, to do this you have to open the xposed installer app and press the first option "Framework" (then press "ok" for the warning) and then press "install/update" and then reboot the device after the installation is done. (you can check if you done it correctly on top of the tab where you installed the framework, there should be 2 green version numbers under "actif")
After installing the xposed framework, install the xbackground app. If it's installed, you will receive a notification that the module is not activated yet. Press that notification and it will bring you in the "modules" section of the xposed installer. There activate the xbackground module by checking the box. Then again reboot, and the module will be activated.
then you can just open the module and make the changes
edit: the download section is to search for modules, you can use this section to search for xbackground module so you're sure you have the latest version.
hi
Ok, but can I customise sms, menu etc. Without downloading a module? The exposed installer in the video is not similar on my exposed installer, can you give me the apk of the exposed installer in the video? By the way can I ger your email add? I will contact you later
Download this xposed installer to install the newest xposed framework http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
Indeed the layout of the installer is a bit different from the one in the youtube video, but it does the same.
this is a video with probably the same layout as yours with info on how to install xposed framework: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75y8fuAUxQI
you can do it without xposed for sms but then you have to download another messenger app. And if you want to do it for settings and other system apps you will have to theme your settings.apk.. so it's A LOT easier to just use the xposed module
send me privé message on xda instead of e-mail. I rather not place my e-mail adress all over the internet
hi
Sir I already installed the exposed installer and xbackground, I did everything that you said, Does it require wifi or data connection on doing customising? When I pick an image on galery for background there is no image on the screen, I don't know why, My phone model is Lenovo S720,
Ok wait I will download it, I will contact you after later,
hi
You mean I need to download module for sms, menu and etc. What is the name of the I module for sms, menu and setting background can you give me the name of it,
I think my phone is not supported of exposed and xbackground, but I will try,
Hi,
I just tried it myself to screenrecord the steps, but it doesn't work on my phone either I guess it just doesn't support mediatek
Annyway, what sms app are you currently using? The stock one like the picture in attachment?
and what android version are you on?
you can change sms background but changing settings background won't work if you can't theme.
oh somthing just comes in my mind.
You can also use HKTheme Manager xposed module: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-tool-hkthememanager-v7-1-change-t2602257
I think you won't be able to use the image you want yourself using this module, but you can apply themes that change the collour of settings, sms, etc.

How can I remove the sound icon on statusbar?

I've tried a few tweaks on xposed but none seem to work for this specifically; I'm trying to remove the sound/mute icon from the statusbar for this specific device. I am on stock deodex 6.0.1 with xposed installed but can't find anything that does this.
