The website http://forum.xda-developers.com/ is not accessible from my home network, I can access it from work, 3G etc. from the same city but can't from my home network. Can it be some blacklisting? whom to address this to and how to resolve it?
Many thanks

Hmm ... network sniffing.
Maybe you want to have a look here:

There also many network monitor apps on Play store.
Not sure about the feature you are looking for, such as blocking selected android devices from accessing the wifi network.
You may have to use the admin console of the wifi router (or the app of the wifi router's manufacturer) to achieve this.
You can try to ask in the General discussion > Networking forum.
Thank you
Thank you.

[Completed] Connect Internet by proxy& prompt credential after setting proxy in Wifi

Hi Guys,
A issue about proxy in my Company, if we want to connect internet, need to set up credential & proxy in WiFi configuration. And boss feedback when they open the browser (android phone/Lollipop), credential window pop-up to ask enter again! Why?
Some app such as "Google Play" can't pop-up the window so that they can't access and download from the store.
Anyone can give me a hint to resolve the issue?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and since you didn't mention which device you use I can't even direct you towards a device-specific area. However, your trouble seems to be related to how your work proxy is configured and not so much about Android issues. You could try asking for other members' opinions in the general discussion forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general but whoever configured your work proxy might be able to best advise you.
Good luck!

[Completed] Mail (POP/SMTP) error on Android 4.2.2 in some networks

Hi there,
I'm having trouble connecting to mail servers on an Alcatel POP C7 w/android 4.2.2
I'm using MailMaster, but problems persists with other mail clients.
It occurs in a specific network, a DSL network with wifi router ZyXeL P-660W T1. I think it occured in some other public network.
I get a "Errno Exception: isConnected".
This same mail account is used with same settings in laptop computers without any problems, even in same network.
Any ideias?
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
That doesn't sound like a problem in the android side, that sounds like a problem with the system you are connecting to
You might be better off finding a PC forum for this issue.

Thanks for your feedback... On this one everyone seems to be saying the problem is somewhere else. Alcatel says problem is with internet provider, internet provider says problem with android... I hope the experts can help me on the other forum. Thanks for the tip...

5ghz wifi issue fix!

Thanx to op on Reddit
Go to dialer, type *#546368#*600#" (brings up hidden menu)
1.Field Test
2.Wifi test
3.Click OTA setting
4.Disable it.
5.Then enable it again.
6.Restart your device.
Since doing this have had ZERO issues with finding and staying connected to my 5ghz wifi. Hopefully this helps.
This happened because of router Region (US vs EU) channel width restriction.
I am posting here because xda for v60 content is non-existence compare to reddit & telegram. User can find solution here easily compare to other two platform.
I request other users if you guys see any useful content please share in xda also.
