Has anyone found or know if an apps is being worked on for Google Music or Amazon Cloud Drive on Wp7? I really want to get all my music in the cloud and I'm going to stick with whichever one has an app first Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I was hoping (as I tried it just to be sure). Hopefully something will come down soon. I can't wait to get most of the music I want to listen to off of my phone
though if MS enables SkyDrive for music then u can just use that and won't have to rely on ****ty Google.
well Google hasnt even made a simple Youtube app for WP7, so I wouldnt get my hopes up. Amazon probably will have an app soon, considering they already have the Kindle and amazon store app.

I'd love to see Amazon do an appstore app and give away free apps everyday like they do on Android. I must have nearly 200 paid apps gotten free from the Amazon Appstore.

That would be nice. I'd like to use MS on this one for sure. Not that I hate Google or anything.

True. I'd almost rather use Amazon's service as it's pretty cheap with the current no limit on your own files plans. No telling what Google's going to charge
actually try them out?
I have actually treid both of them out.... (gasp!)
amazons version reminds me of waiting for a RealPlayer video to load BUFFERINGGGGGGGGG...
Amazons crashes more often, and has more ui issues. Google Music Beta crashes 1/4 tp 1/10 as often, and the ui works better for "caching" music offline.
try them both, just hating one because of bias is pointless.
Have you given the zune pass streaming a try? I have been using it and it has been pretty good, quite a large collection, buffering is quick to non existent and i havent seen any crashes or whatnot since its part of the marketplace tile.

It works quite well. I'd still like a google music app though, as I have 2,000 songs in the cloud and could stream them for free.
I'm sure we'll see one after Mango drops.. with background audio capability.

Oh, I have tried them both and of course Google is better as for things working the way you would expect. Like actual monitoring of the folders instead of uploading or launching the music manager to add music.

Tried Zune pass. It's nice, but there a lot of independent stuff that I can't find on there.

Hi all,
I'm the developer of Shuttle Music Player (formerly AMP).
Shuttle is a lightweight, simple & elegant music player for Android. It's based on the AOSP Music Player, with inspiration from the previous Google Play and the current Google Now.
Shuttle includes a built in equalizer, gapless playback (4.0+), queue support playlists, highly customizable widgets, sleep timer, scrobbling, dashclock support and more.
Shuttle has been on the Play Store for almost 6 months now, and is nearing 50.000 downloads!

Hey man, I love your app. Is the only player that works correctly on my phone :victory:.
Do you think there's a possibility to add ReplayGain support? I have some music that makes use of it and I can't enjoy them correctly because lack of that function.
I think it is Apple app when I see the shuttle

Thanks for the compliments, glad you're enjoying it. Replay gain is beyond the scope of Shuttle for now.. Since I use the Android API's for media playback, and there is no inherent support for replay gain.. So, it's not planned at this stage, sorry.

What a pity... Still the best player, though.
Today installed Shuttle+. Like it very much, nice UI.Only issue I have : While playing music, the EQ doesn't open and the app force closes.
After noticing this ,in CWM recovery I wiped cache, wiped Dalvik cache and fixed permissions on my leaked 4.2.2 Samsung S3 ROM. Problem persists. Can open EQ when there's no music playing, works fine then.
Imo EQ should be editable when playing music,as in Google Play Music.
Any thoughts and/or advice on this ?
Necro-post! Hopefully the dev is still around?
I'm switching from Google Play Music to Shuttle due to the fact that I don't like the way GPM behaves in 4.4.4 when I swipe it from the Recent Tasks (it stops playback, which is mind-boggling nonsense for me).
Is there any way to Import the playlists I have on GPM into Shuttle?
It would be nice to have the apk available as an attachment on the first post or a link directly to apk, instead of playstore.

I didn't know about his community. I knew the app was actively developed, but when I wondered if he was still around I mostly meant I was wondering if he was around here on XDA forums. Apparently he isn't though.
Hey there, I want to start off by saying I love your app - truly a marvel of development. I plan on buying Shuttle+, but before I do I have a couple of questions:
1. What exactly does it mean when it says I can edit "some" tags? I seem to have an issue where the files I have added to my phone (OnePlus 2) that are of the same album do not go together, but instead create 2 or 3 separate albums. I do not have this issue with my iPod, and believe it is a tagging issue but I can't find any differences in the files themselves. Also will I be able to add or change artwork?
2. I have this issue where I am seeing double. But when I go to settings > apps > all, there is no "media store", but rather "media storage". Are these the same thing? Again, I am using OnePlus 2.
Thanks
Hi !! Just got Shuttle+ from the play store. I was looking for a nice alternative to HTC stock player (discontinued on the HTC10) and I found your feature-packed app wonderful ! Built in EQ is a great plus. Keep up the good work, glad to contribute by getting the pro version !
One feature I really liked from another app I tried (don't remember the name) is the possibility to blur the album cover on the lockscreen. Makes for a beautiful look while listening to music !
Thanks again
Have you guys ever ran into the problem where you were listening to music on you phone then you play music on you tablet and Google pauses your music because your playing music on multiple devices?
Well this app I made fixes that.
I made this app quickly because me and my friend are always listening to music at the same time and it kept pausing the music.
When I have more time Ill update it with a better icon, better look, ect. but it works perfectly and it makes me so happy.
I know I can't be the only one in the world that ran into this problem and was annoyed. So here's a fix
HOW TO:
-just open the app, click on accessibility and turn on Google Music Multi User Support.
-Thats it. You're done.
No need to worry about it again. Turn on and off your phone? No worries. Don't even think about it.
also this app doesn't affect battery, like at all.
This app has only been tested on:
*Nexus 7
*Galaxy S4
*Galaxy SIII

There is this thing, I don't recall the name, might be Google or something like this, where you can type and search things with a few words.

Am using PowerAmp since well over 8 years now and never regretted buying the Pro version for a few dollars. Had abandoned it while my old xperia was still running with Sony's stock ROM (Sony Music player's not really bad, I couldn't remove it anyway while being unrooted, and I didn't want to have 2 similar apps). After I had opened the phone, and now on my OP6 Poweramp resurfaced, and it's still great. Has a zillion options to adjust the app's behaviour, apply skins etc.
And hey; I even am willing to provide a link here for you: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer

Yes the ported sony Walkman player is one of the best.. Has a nice clean ui and the sound is good
Using very long time PowerAMP. Can recommend it!
PowerAmp is so cool. I bought pro version and never regretted
Like others, I use PowerAmp. There are some very fine skins, if you are into that whole customization thing, but the music sounds great, and there are so many options for tuning the sound, album art, etc.
It really does "Whips the Llama's Azzz". (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
I started using Musicolet, works like a charm!
Nice UI and a lot of custimizations.

I'm on Retro Music and it's great. Simple design, lots of customisation and no ads.
I'm on Sony Music Player since 2012 with Xperia Phones... There's a port here on XDA, but i think the apk from apkmirror will work too
Poweramp here..one more.
GoneMad: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gonemad.gmmp

best music player ever.
Black Player, superior to everything
