HTC Desire Brick

Hey Guys,
I've a problem with my HTC Desire Amoled Display T-Mobile Branding.
Yesterday I wanted to downgrade my HTC Desire from 2.2 to 2.1.
I've made a GoldCard what works.
Then I was going into the Bootloader -> Fastboot and have started the update.
Then it gives a Failure -> Radio_v2 - Fail-PU (It vibrate a time)
The setup goes to the next step, at the end it gives two failures, too.
One with Partition and one with update i think.
Now my HTC Desire boot over the HTC Screen and then comes the Red triangle with the Mobile Phone.
So my Mobile Phone didn't boot.
The Recovery Menu didn't works, but the bootloader/Fastboot menu works.
My HTC Desire have:
HBOOT - 0.93.0001
Radio - 5.11.05.27
What should I do?
I've tested some Threads from the WWW but all didn't work
Sorry for my bad English I'm from Germany

[Q] Problem getting back into HBOOT for HTC Incredible S

Hi I would like to know if anyone out there knows the solution to my problem.
I have a HTC Incredible S. And I gained s-off and rooted it. I flashed clockworkmod recovery many times before. I used Android revolutionary's rom and Nik's Trinity Sensation XL rom before. Now I've recently flashed a new rom, which is the RunnyDroid ROM by the pvteam. ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1374852 )
Now I found another ROM that I would like to tryout. But I can't seem to get my phone into HBOOT. I always used revolutionary to get my phone into HBOOT ( they'll detect your device and it'll say your phone is already S-OFF and then they ask if I want to download clockwordmod recovery which I usually type Y )
But after flashing the runnydroid's rom, whenever I type Y in revolutionary, the program will stop working and it'll say windows detect a problem or something like that. I can't seem to get into HBOOT. Any help please? I'd appreciate it loads! THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Hi,
So the post in the Incredible S section says:
5. Pull out the battery and wait 5 seconds. Put the battery back in again. (This step is needed in case fast boot is enabled..)
6. Press vol down+power. HBoot (white screen with 3 android logos at the bottom) should load.
This is what I do on my Sensation as well...
Hope that helps.
[Q] [FIXED] Problem getting back into HBOOT for HTC Incredible S
hey thanks! That totally worked for me and I have just flashed a new rom ( CoreDroid )
But now I seem to have a new problem, I can't detect any signal at all. When I looked for the network under mobile networks, it says error while searching for networks. Do you know how to deal with that?

[Q] Just can't get S-OFF Help Please!

Hi Guy's and Gall's
For some reason I can't get my HTC sensation to S-off, I am not new to android or rooting Android phones ( Huwei pulse , HTC wildfire , Htc disire HD, samsung NC110 on 2.3 duel boot with wifi) But this one has got me stuck
I have searched and searched on the net for other solutions/fix's and just find the same methods and no solution.
This is where it all stops every time! ( straight of the bat basically )

I have had 1 OTA and Unlocked bootloader via HTC dev method, I can re-lock and Un-lock nothing makes a difference.
I have the Drivers, ADB, etc, ( and have deleted and re-installed )Factory reset also makes no difference in the outcome, the process stops at the same point ( above) and the time it takes also remains the same regardless of what I do.
I would Like to get access to the root folder to remove the T-Mob and other annoying apps and perhaps in future run a custom rom.
Any one who can help Please?? What am I doing wrong??
Thanks in advance...

Lucky for you I found this same problem yesterday and figured it out lol.
Hope this works......
1) Get to the part where you have to enter in the beta key but don't hit enter yet.
2) On your phone go to settings/connect to PC/Charge only
3) On your phone again go to settings/applications/development/USB debugging and check the box.
4) Hit enter on your computer and see what happens.

make sure you have all your drivers installed. if needed go to your start tab on your computer, right click on computer, device manager & search for the device and make sure it's installed all drivers completely by right clicking and pressing update driver.

ver 1.18.0000
Android 2.3.4
Thank you for your help.
Thanks Guy's for you help so far,
I have tride most of your sugestions and I re-installed the htc driver and ADB/fastboot last night.
Then I thought I would do yet another factory reset..... and have another go, But I got a surprise oem recovery is dead??? and so is the factory reset??? both give me a white HTC screen, and this lasts for 1 hour or forever or till I remove the battery. I had not noticed this before.
After I pull the battery the phone will reboot and work as normal. so not bricked yet
Do I now need to re install recovery or ???
Help is much appreciated as I would like to get the thing S-Off before the ICS OTA update arrives, Tho I will probably not get the update till I fix the recovery issue.
For you followers, I have just ( finally )received the OTA update to ICS It is installing as I type.
My location is the south of Holland, My phone is the sensation and network provider is T-Mobile NL.
Just thought I should let you know.
Now once this is installed I will start reading about getting the phone rooted.
Final Solution
Go for Tacoroot method..it works...dont worry abt bricking and all..
search tacoroot method...(tricky process)it gives temporary root access...
then do Revolutionary S-off...it definitely works...
Install 4ext recovery
install Superuser...
install suitable firmware
insatall rom...
You might go into bootloops but dont panic...installing ROM will take care of that..
Ping me for any doubts...INDIA
Go ahead and ROOT...life becomes Awesome after that...
HTC Sensation XE Beats audio..

if you wnat to enjoy custom roms and all dont do OTA ICS update
as it will update your bootloader to 1.27 with S-ON
and there is currently no solution/tool to S-OFF with H-BOOT 1.27
so i strongly advise you to stay out of it
for your previous HBOOT (i presume its 1.18) there is solution..
you need to use tacoroot to do a temp-root then follow the revolutionary
there is a guide for that
search for it

[Q] I am having trouble with my htc desire s

Hello to everyone specially to those who are very knowledgeable on hacking HTC Desire S.
I have manage to root my phone HTC desire s with an HBOOT version 2.00.002 the problem is it is not s-off. I want to make it S-off.
My currently installed rom is reaper v3.0.0 i want to change it to ice cream sandwich roms
My questions are.
Is it possible to go back to HTC Desire S original ROM i am from Philippines part of Asia
Why do i always stuck on HTC boot screen when I installed other ROM. I am really freaking out guys. I tried to install fallout v.3.0.0
Do I really need to be s-off to install other roms? I want to be s-off but i found some tutorials here that i really cant make to work. I am sure I followed the instructions carefully but it does not work for me.
Please help me guys I want to use my full potential of my phone. Thank you.
Google it, or search the forum for it:
"you have to flash boot.img through fastboot"
ANY guide for flashing ROMs will tell you that, if you unlocked with HTCDev tool. Quite hard to miss.
Based on what i read i think u will need to s-off to flash or even root.(maybe someone else can give u a better guide.)
It is best if you could mention which guide u used and then post what error u encountered at which point.
Judging by him able to root HBOOT 2.00 and running custom ROM, but using S-ON - the only option is that he unlocked by HTCDev. But of course, as it usually happens, he managed to skip reading important parts of the guide that mention what I wrote in the previous post.
this is what i did to my phone
This is what I did to my phone (exactly)
1. Unlock bootloader on HTCDEV.com
2. i dont know exactly if i installed hboot 2.00.002 but that's my version now
3. install a custom rom called reaper v3.0.0
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525100 << i followed this tutorial guys.
now what exactly what i want to do is
1. go back to my old htc phone. I want my HTC Desire S OS back. the original one but it seems i cant because when i installed an HTC rom, (or whatever you call it) my phone hangs up on the bootscreen "htc" and i dont know why.
guys im starting to freak out i dont know if i really messed up with my phone
somebody help me please
Read Q&A section. At the top there are at least 2 threads that deal with returning to stock, and one is pointing towards the other.
Are you able to boot to your recovery?
If you did not untick "Fastboot" in settings. You will need to take off your battery for 5 seconds, then put it back and then, press your volume down button and your power button at the same time. Press for like 5 seconds and wait to boot into recovery mode.
Follow step number 5... try flashing the boot.img...

[Completed] [Q] HTC Desire 500 wont start

Recently i rooted my htc desire 500 after that when ever i turn on my phone i see my lock screen for 1-2 secs. and after it it shuts down. after that i tried to flash custom rom. then also my phone won't boot. please help me i think i flashed wrong kernel.
Hi,
Hopefully your device can be revived, as flashing roms or kernels or firmware from different devices can often lead to permanent bricks. You have to read very carefully and be sure of what you're flashing and how.... Or very bad things can happen.
Read the first few posts of this thread... It has stock firmware mentioned, which you can try flashing to fix your device. If you need help with how, ask in the thread,
> HTC Desire 500 > Desire 500 General > HTC Desire 500 - Ultimate thread
Good luck! Hope you get it running!
