I have no idea what caused it to get stuck like this. I left it in my room on, with the screen off and charging and when I came back a few hours later it was just sitting on the logo screen. I've tried holding the power button for 20 seconds and turning it off and then turning it back on. Ileft it on for a while and left it off for a while but I just can't get it to load. I don't care if I have to reset it and reinstall everything. I just want it to work again. Can anyone help me with this problem? I don't want to blindly use programs on it and besides, I can't load it, so I'm not sure how to fix it.
Hi there,
Can you give us more details about your device?
Did you try it to pull out the battery and switch on after?
Thread closed, thank you.

I've looked all over for the answer to this, and I've tried multiple things but nothing seems to be working. Last night my phone froze (for no apparent reason) so I pulled the battery. The first boot screen came and went but the 2nd doesn't show...it stays blank and then eventually I hear the noise my phone makes when it's fully started up, but the screen is still blank. I have to push menu and the home and call keys a couple of times to get the screen to turn on, and then I can see everything seems to be up in the background, but when I go to unlock my phone it doesn't recognize me pressing the buttons (to unlock the SIM) so I can't get any further. When I do home+power combination, the screen with the triangle and exclamation point comes up, but it won't recognize any of my button presses. I tried to use fastboot to bring it back, and it says everything went through but when it starts back up the same thing happens, it won't recognize me pressing the screen to unlock the phone. It will take maybe the first 2 keys I press..and it will lag while it takes them...but after that it doesn't take anything else. I don't know what to do so if anyone can help or might know what could have happened. Like I said, I was just on the browser last night looking around and it froze so I pulled the battery. Oh and I'm running JF 1.50 if that matters. Thanks guys.
Did you install hardSPL?
If not, maybe you can create a goldcard (search in this forum) and flash the basic system on it again!
I have the SPL for Sapphire ported to Dream.
I might have to take it in to T-Mobile because it boots up and just automatically freezes at the main screen.
The only thing I'm worried about is that I changed the first boot screen so if I do end up having to get a new phone I'm going to have to pay for it
wipe wipe wipe
no need to take it to t mob just wipe take the sd card put it in a sd card reader load up the root/hack rom and go from there no need to take it back cause t mob will tell hell no when they try ro boot it up
I don't know how to wipe it without going through the bootloader and that won't load up.
I also don't know how to flash an update without going through bootloader so I'm stuck.
try this
pull the battery hold down power + home put battery in without taking your fingers off thoses buttons wait till bootloader loads. it happent to me an endless loop everytime i pulled the battery it would power up without touching the battery so thats what i did
So I've been on this forum 24/7 for the passed 4 days since my phone bricked. Never tried putting any roms or anything on the phone, all stock. It just crashed on me. This is exactly whats happening:
I put the battery in, and as soon i do that, the samsung logo appears, then goes blank, only to reappear, and so on. I don't even have to press the power button it just automatically turns on. So eventually while searching the forums i followed laymans tutorial on how to make a jig, so i did. I thought i had it! But as soon as i saw download mode come up, it just went right back to a blank screen within 3 seconds, only to see that damn samsung logo. So I'm just curious, am I royally screwed?
Would love some input on this as i cannot find anything >.<
Sorry if I'm posting on wrong category. Forum won't let me post from Windows
First of my tab is properly working and then after updating some of softwares I can't identify which one triggers the problem of having a small circle at the middle of the screen (which usually appears if you're tapping the screen) and never goes off causing the screen unusable. Then I tried to restore it from the Windows itself. It restores 1% and still 1% after 30mins. I decided to force it shutdown and then when I tried to open it up again it boots from asus logo then note below trying to recover, then restart, attempt to recover again then restart.. Tried several things like pressing f8 from the keyboard and holding power + volume down. Nothing happens.. Please tel me what to do. Help please. Will appreciate very much

Hi all,
I have been given a tablet to try and recover by a friend who seems to have semi-bricked it. I heard that he ticked the wrong buttons in Odin and then it all went downhill from there...
See the attachment: This graphical screen is displayed all the time. I cant actually shut the tablet down, even if I boot into CWM and choose shutdown from there. It will turn the entire screen of for 2 seconds and then then go into the attached funky graphics screen and stay there.
There is no battery charge at the moment so the odd time I do get it to boot properly, it shuts down straight away. Im leaving it chargin as we speak to rule that out.
I've tried flashing a stock ROM and get an error7. I have wiped and reset the tablet and wiped both caches too.
My next move is to (after its charged) download and apply a ROM from the samsung website and see if I can return it to normal.
I really want to know why I cant shut it off and what's the deal with the weird graphics screen? Any step by step instruction on how to reset properly and what I should do would be SUPERB.
Please help my phone is confused like it is blinking lg logo but not getting on. In charge it gets on but in few seconds it gets off.
I think you are in soft brick state for some reason.. Did you try to do anything prior to this situation?
How did that happened? Similar issue happened to me, heres my post from other thread:
My H955 suddenly rebooted and it keeps on bootloop. It turns on fully and after 10-30 seconds (the hotter it gets, the less time it stays booted up) reboots again. After I left it to cooldown, there was error that root is gone or smth like that, and I had to agree to EULA and terms&conditions but the phone rebooted again. Maybe some kind of update was pushed in or whatever. This is the first time for me to happen. I have not installed new apps or mods on my phone like in two weeks.
Btw, seems like this is soft reboot, because there is no sounds and it didn't asked for SIMs PIN. I guess it has something to do with xposed..
I have used this method http://www.hard-reset.mobi/lg-g-flex-2-hard-reset/#to do factory reset. It seems to work, however phone still reboots. @mnshkpr8 try this to do factory reset, maybe this will help you.
Later I will try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/help/to-unbrick-g-flex-2-ls996-t3286105
