Tried on nexus 5, nexus 9, and OnePlus One and it force closes when you confirm the recording dialog. What did you test this on?

Just tried here on Nexus 5 LRX21O and it works great.
Thank you very much.
Suggestion
The options are very inconsistent. Sometimes the "best" option is on top (Video bitrate, Framerate) and sometimes on the bottom (Audio Sampling Rate) of the list. Other than that it looks pretty cool :good:
Immediately force closes on a rooted stock LRX210 N5.
Another FC report on N5 with LRX21O

Force closes immediately after accepting the record message on Nexus 5(LRX21O) and 7(LRX21P)
I like how http://www.xda-developers.com/android/unlimited-screen-recorder-lollipop/ talks about " abundant advertising toget in the way" and then mentions this app as an alterative. So i install this one, and what do i get?
THE VERY FIRST SCREEN I SEE FROM THIS APP IS A FULLSCREEN INTERSTITIAL AD
Very disappointed in XDA for this one.
Yeah force closes on the oneplus one immediately after i press record
Try new version in OP, I am testing it on Nexus 5 (LRX21O) and it works fine.
No change
Version 1.01 still force closes everytime on my devices....
1.01 still FC on my Nexus 4.
When the FC happens exactly, right after you click on rec button or after confirming the popup dialog?
When I hit record, regardless of settings.

PLEASE NOTE: This app will only function correctly on ROMs with Halo functionality, such as Paranoid Android. If you aren't on one of those ROMs, all this app will do is automatically launch the app you just got a notification for.
HaloPop allows you to automatically turn any app that you want into a popup when you receive a notification! It does this by listening for new notifications, and when one comes through for an app that you have enabled to run automatically as a popup, it shows that app as a popup over all other running apps, just like when you like on the Halo icon to launch it.
Works great for apps that don't have popups, such as Google Hangouts, or any other type of app where you don't want to use the included popup and would rather use the full app scaled down in the middle of the screen. Any app that give you a notification is supported!
Set up:
1) Install and launch the app
2) Enable the notification listener service when prompted... you have to do this or else the app WILL NOT FUNCTION
3) Push the + button on the top right of the screen and select all the apps you want to popup automatically
4) Enjoy
Some great apps to use this with:
- Sliding Messaging Pro
- Google Hangouts
- GoSMS
- Handcent
- GMail
- And basically anything else!
HUGE thanks to all of the guys working on Paranoid Android, without them none of this is possible!

Ah...Makes sense haha. Darn. Could it be done for 4.2.2+? Or is the framework different? Anyways, I hope to be able to try it out soon =] Looks very handy.
The app uses the new notification listener apis, making it 4.3 only. I'm hoping lots of people get the update soon PA 4.3 is awesome!
This app brings Facebook chathead popup to all other app on Paranoid Android rom. Great! Hope one day it can keep cache on background memory so user can continue what he is doing with that app on floating window (currently, when the floating window disappear, the app is killed).

We've just made an app to record the screen of your Lollipop smartphones/tablets. It's 100% FREE, no root required, no time limit, no watermark, ad-free, material design and easy to record with one action to start and stop recording with a floating window.
Besides, there are many options inside the app including the possibility to pause and resume while recording, record audio via the mic, show touches, view/share/delete your videos...
The best thing is they are all FREE.
Here is the link, please try and give us some feedbacks. Thanks !

Update version 1.1.0.9
+ Support video on SD Card.
+ Screenshot manager
Just installed. Pretty sweet.
A detail: The "screen touches" option makes you go to the developer options; if they're disabled, it makes your app crash. It shouldn't do that, instead prompting users to enable the developer options.
Otherwise, good job.

Thank you, it worked perfectly fine on my nexus 4 mako running nitrogenOS 7.1.2
Supported recording internal sound on Android 10.

It's nice, better than any screen recorder
Need support for Internal Audio...
I Seen other apps have It for Android 7+
But this app is far more superior in stability....
So why not support it for Root Enabled users?

I cant get split screen to work on this phone which is really bothering me..
The button to turn it on is greyed out and if I press it it shows a message saying "This function is not available in the current mode" - I have no idea what current mode tf they be talking about?! Anyone facing the same issue or knows a workaround pls?

EDIT:
I just found out from someone in the realme X2 forum who's having the same problem that the reason you can't use split screen are 3rd party launchers. Oppo/realme software won't let you use split screen function when you've activated a launcher as your standard home app. This is f*cking ridiculous smh -.-
I've not used a button to do a split screen but I've just tested it and swiping three fingers up towards the top of the screen takes the current screen up towards the top of the screen and then I have to select another app and it goes on to split screen mode.
Have you tried that?
Ian
I've noticed it works but is locked at what it would seem 60hz
Same problem over here. Not available in current mode. Brand New install only using Nova launcher, but I've tried ColorOS launcher as well. Tried switching to 60Hz as someone suggests but no way to activate the split screen option.
---------- Post added at 09:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:52 AM ----------
Correction I've tried again and indeed it works with ColorOS launcher. How stupid is that, this is basic Android functionality and should be implemented that way.
Work around for the moment is using a launcher switching app but of course that means you won't be able to use split screen on the fly.
I would suggest you to contact oppo customer support and request them to fix this issue.
I did, mentioning the ColorOS 7.2 development and Android 11 beta opportunities to fix that bug. I had to insist, but they finally answered they would forward the request to Devs.
I also talked about the third party music players not receiving media control commands, as there is no setting to choose the default music player.
Hopefully they will fix both issues
I wrote them.
Split screen and screen off audio controls for my 3rd party audio player are the biggest issues for me at the moment.
Got this response today :
Thank you for contacting OPPO.
We understand that you would like the split screen and the screen off gestures to control audio playback to be available using a third-party launcher.
Regarding your concern, please be advised that we are unable to guarantee that all OPPO built-in features will be compatible to all third-party launcher, thus we only advised customer to use the ColorOS launcher.
We will take this as feedback for future product enhancement.
