Wow, it's really nice clean and simple. Haven't used it much yet but my overall first impressions make me want to. Really diggin it, awesome job.

Absolutely lovely file manager. Thanks for this beauty and thanks for releasing it as open source!

2 things it needs in my opinion. A text editor for editing build.prop 's etc.
A zip viewer so they don't need extracting to see inside
Otherwise brilliant!

Wow, fantastic

Just left a 4 star review. The UI is insanely awesome!
Definitely needs some more functionality work. Text editor is very key, and the .zip functionality is pretty important.

Pretty well done job, @arpitkh96! Tks and congrats!!! But I agree with @Ben36,,, Anyway, very nice app!!!

It's possible to get the app over f-droid or a direct link? I don't use the Google play store.

Doesn't work too with internal memory on Lollypop.
Nice and simple app, all is good and enough.
Just this issue....

Design is really good and I really likeit. Just a little bad point is that add button's color. It should better to change color like action bars color. Or please add a red theme so button can fit with theme

Nice App with Root. I miss SMB, FTP access and a Text Editor for e.g. bulid.prop.

very nice app thanks

Whats the purpose of the internet permissions? And add the superuser permission to your manifest.

Lovely APP! My go to file manager from now on!
Thank you and keep the good job!!

As it is a recent app i think it's normal that it lacks some tools but i hope that with time they come because i really like the material design and the UI looks great. Something i miss is dual panel and ability to transfer files between them easily. Apart from other things already mentioned in this thread. I won't be using it as my main file explorer yet but i will keep it installed to see how it evolves and the new features it receives so maybe i can use it as my main file explorer. Rated 4 stars

Awesome app though. I will definitely make the switch from FX if/once these features are added.

Looks great, I hope this will replace root explorer for me.

Nice app!

Nice work!
Can't read my USB drive? The great majority of file managers can. Add this to your "to do" list.

[APP] CalcTunes - Desktop-style music player for Android [ALPHA 0.47]

I've been working on this for almost a year now off and on. I wanted a media player that gave me more control then the stock player included with Gingerbread (CM7). This drove me to try other players such as MortPlayer, which could play folders directly. It lacked the ability to have multiple root folders, however, so on a device with multiple storage directories (internal, sdcard, network server, USB, etc) it made listening to music difficult. The new players in ICS still fail to achieve this, as the Android MediaScanner backend they use only looks for auto-mounted locations. If you use NTFS, ext3, USB storage, or any other system that Android will not automatically mount, it will not find your music.
To remedy this, I decided to write my own music player (which is also my first Android app) based around the concept of having multiple "libraries" which are built by selecting a set of root directories to scan. You can have more than one library, such as having all of your home server's music scanned in but a separate library for on-device files. Libraries can span multiple storage locations or just single locations.
It's still very much a work in progress, but it's stable enough to be useful. I just implemented a swipe system to switch between views, adding a track info view which has tag and file info as well as a large album art view. Eventually I want to add Last.Fm artist/song info, lyrics, and possibly other content to this view using tabs. The scanner will pull album art from Last.Fm when you scan a library.
I also added support for DSPManager/AudioFX, which apparently is a per-app thing on CM9+ ROMs. It should be compatible with Gingerbread and up, one of my goals was to keep GB supported as I have an Archos tablet running CM7 that has a great DAC for audio.
The project is open source under GPL, hosted on GitHub here: https://github.com/CalcProgrammer1/CalcTunes
Version 0.47 Alpha: https://github.com/downloads/CalcProgrammer1/CalcTunes/CalcTunes.apk
I'd appreciate feedback, so far it's only been used by me and my friend. There are rough edges. For one, playlist functionality has not been implemented yet, so the placeholder items do nothing. The filesystem browsing is primitive. The notification doesn't work properly. Other than that, it should be reasonably stable.
[Reserved for additional updates]
The app is awesome but I think it needs some redesigning
The UI look squished in
It works great so far, running the same hard/software as you.
I greatly enjoy the UI.

The image not showing.
Wow looks really good except the orange color
The App force closes everytime I click on the record icon
I am on Android 4.1.2 / HTC ONE X
I will definitely try this one and would like to suggest two things for future updates - 1. .lrc format lyrics support. and 2. a customizable music widget which could support different skins. Thank you.
It force closes when trying to add a folder to the library and when clicking on the record
System only shows the files on the internal memory (sdcard) but all my music is on the external (sdcard-ext)
Using Atrix 4G rooted Stock 2.3.6
You can change the color in the settings, I use orange to match my phone's theme. As for the force close, I forgot to add that you need OpenIntents OI File Manager (or CM File Manager on many CM ROMs) as I use its file selection intent to select library folders. I would like to add a widget eventually, but first I want to improve the media info view, add playlists, and improve the notification to show album art and have controls on ICS+ devices where it is supported.

Turn off small-screen mode in settings, it is broken and needs work. That looks awful compared to what it should (some reason two lines were highlighted? small screen now-playing bar has broken year field?) and the new large-screen layout uses swiping. Like I said, still very much an alpha release!

YES. if your device is rooted device and gives this app root permission, you have full control system partitions, including /system, /data.
Best android root explore so far.
Good job! :fingers-crossed:
Nice!
Nice, i'm using old version and this update is great!
BTW, is it supports external plugins like the old version?
Will the free version have root explore feature ?
FCs on a Galaxy Tab running cm10.2. Of course this cm is an experimental version, so the FC doesn't need to be AntTek's fault. Runs fine on my Stock Galaxy SII, Android 4.1.2.
My first impression was "georgeous". But when looking closer, links display as normal files and only 3 of the (at least 9, and there's enough screen space to display them) permissons are shown in detailed view (which renders them useless for serious work). So, for the time being, it won't become my favorite explorer. But thanks for your fine work anyway, I appreciate it.
Really nice explorer!
Dropbox, FTP features + pretty design :good:

Thank you for your report. For permission. You should enable "Always using native mode" in order to see it (Home > Utility > Preference > Application)
This is really well done.
Thank you so much.
Real quickly though, how can one select multiple files at once?
Cheers.

How about this, some apps require their files/content to be in specific folders for e.g whatsapp. If the media in not found at that locations it asks to re download that content.
Is their some special handling for such apps??

You can create and edit custom redirects, so you could blacklist the folders you don't want scanned (The Whatsapp folder) and whitelist the ones that you only want scanned - it is completely customizable!
Also, on a side note - the app does not go near the /Android directory unless it is explicitly whitelisted, so 95% of important app data isn't touched!
Brilliant.

Very cool since yesterday I hit 95% memory full and need to move things to storage card. Running my S4 stock until I determine which rom to use and most everything else I've used in past required root. I'll report back after running a few redirects.
Looks nice, is the apk attached the paid version or the free?

DESCRIPTIONLucid Browser is a free and open source web browser designed to be small, light, fast, and simple. The app itself is as small as about 4 MB, and the Donate version is only about 2 MB. The browser uses a custom homepage that loads locally for quick start-ups. Although it is small in size, it packs a punch with all the features you would normally see in a mobile browser. For example, you can import bookmarks from other browsers that use file formats of HTML or JSON. The browser also allows for complete management of bookmarks with folder categorization. By default, Lucid Browser uses Ecosia, a project designed to help plant trees. Lucid Browser also comes with many settings and ways to personalize the look. It is easy to use, very handy, and allows you to surf the net with speed.

It's light-weight so it means:
-it won't consume as much RAM as bigger browsers does
-work fast because there are not many elements to load so that CPU can focus on page loading
needs to handle revoked certs
It should not show this page
https://revoked.grc.com.
But it does. You could be among the first to offer secure browser for Android.
Awesome browser man, keep it up.
I'd like to ask if it's possible to add an option to autohide the action bar during navigaton as well as adding the option to display the most visited sites when typing an adress?
A few in the play store have mentioned it in reviews, but the ability to close the browser would be optimal. Currently the only way to get back to the home screen is the home button on my phone. I assume this is intentional, but for full browser replacement on android for me I need a way to exit the program even if it becomes an advanced option in the settings menu. Otherwise very lightweight and intuitive to use and I really like it.
ability to close the app, would be necessary for me too. Otherwise definitely what I need in a browser ???

Amazing... Keep it up.
I would prefer holding the back button to close the browser - or ideally options for making holding do this of course.
I realise this is probably a big ask but Lastpass integration would be nice as well. It pains me and my phone battery that Dolphin (and possibly Firefox ...?) are the only browsers to offer this.
Lovely app BTW, thanks for all the hard work.
Looks good but a couple of feature request.
-Ability to close the app.
-Setting a blank home page
-clearing cache, browsing history, cookies etc when exiting.
Also, swype(keyboard) doesn't show a ".com" on the keyboard which usually works with all browsers. Please check that.
Thanks
Great Browser!

Hi
https://github.com/enricocid/iven-feed-reader/commit/c7791c7d1e4677fa1e7837f88814ca4ce35e8446
I've added this to clear cache programatically when onDestroy the listactivity, so when You click on a feed it will start with new cache this should be enough to avoid crashes related to the cache garbage collection
it will included the next update
New version 6.2 is up
Changes:
Fix immersive mode on window focus change
Add right titles to toolbar
Fix toolbar not themed when dark theme is applied
Navigation drawer revision
Disabled glide's disk caching to avoid cache garbage collection
Added a button to clear app cache
Looks promising! Will it be possible to add Feedly integration?
The app is really smooth and nicely designed.
That said, Feedly support would be greatly appreciated!
Also a way to mark what has been read and what hasn't would make it easier to use long term.
