(MODEM) D850 Flashable Modem Zip - AT&T LG G3

Just thought that I would get this made for a back up. I extracted the modem.bin right out of the LGD850AT-01-V10d-310-410-JUN-19-2014+0.tot file and threw it into a flashable .zip file. So if you ever mess up your modem, flash this and it should fix your problem. I used it and worked amazing.
Thank you to Google on finding some .tot extractors and Skin1980 for the modem.zip that I used and replaced with our modem
Download:

can't download.. just lists the files within the zip:/

no download link

It worked on the computer. There was an download option. Maybe try to put it in desktop mode?

If there is a .tot file for it them I could do it. I'm currently not home right now but I'll look and see what I can do.

The baseband (radio) doesn't appear to have been updated in 10f. It displays the same version number as 10d.

[MODEM][Odin + CWM] KJ6 Modem [2011-10-28]

I am not responsible if you brick your phone.
This is ONLY the modem, not a full ROM.
I take no credit for this, I only extracted the modem.bin from the KJ6 ROM leak and made it into an Odin and CWM package.
Here is the new KJ6 modem in Odin and CWM flashable form. Simply flash with Odin (in the PDA slot), or use the CWM package. Enjoy!
CWM Package: http://www.mediafire.com/?8wsddlvba44g3wc
Odin Package: http://www.mediafire.com/?4toypajtn577u3y
If you like this, please click Thanks!

Just flashed. It's working fine in my phone, and it says T959VUVKJ6.
Anyone else having issues with international roaming on gingerbread? I have tried flashing all of the modems and still get dropped from international networks after 2-5 minutes. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded my S 4g to Gingerbread..

[RECOVERY] Stock Recovery.tar for I727UCKJ2

Thanks to Dxrta, attached is the stock recovery file needed for our Galaxy S II Skyrocket just in case you want to revert back to stock after using CWM Recovery. This could be useful when wanting to perform OTA updates.
Just flash the file via Odin by placing the .tar file in the pda.

Easy. Grab the return to stock Odin package. Using 7zip look inside the tar delete boot.img, system.img. flash away stock recovery.

Thank you for that. Being up at 3am is not conducive for intelligent thought.
I will attach the file to the 1st post in case anybody else needs it.
Add a Warning about the rom counter if the use odin.

No worries. I had a fellow xda member, mcmexican, check his SkyRocket to see if there was an update he had none as well.
Wierd, I used odin to flash back to stock and checked afterword and have no number under counter. Powered off and plugged in my usb jig and everything looks fine.
it tripped mine and now there is no way to reset it (yet)!
I used przekret's odin file, though, so it may be different.

Does this "unroot" the phone so it could, for instance, be sent in for warranty repair or return?
My Skyrocket is on it's way to me now to replace my old Captivate, not sure I want to root this one or leave it stock.

No this simply puts the stock android recovery on the phone instead of cwm.
Flash the stock ROM from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19403935 for sending your phone in for warranty.

So if I were to use this and go back to factory. I have cwm and rooted, and I am running the icecream sandwhich Rom, what do I need to do to flash back over? Do I need to do a full factory data wipe and so on?
Is this for Roger's SR as well?

[Q]How to flash stock ROM from Samsung site

I tried doing some research but with no luck. I wanted to ask if there is a way to flash a completely stock ROM I download straight from the Samsung site using maybe CWM or Odin. And how would I go on to have it rooted? I've just been having issues even with the stock debloated ROM available so I want to give this a try. Thanks in advance for any feedback and help

So first register at www.sammobile.com, then search SGH-T769 under firmware and download the August 2012 ICS or The Feb 2013 ICS Firmware, wait for the download to finish (took me 30 minutes) then extract which ever firmware zip you downloaded then using Odin click on PDA and select the .md5 file which is located in the extracted ICS Firmware Folder that you've downloaded from sammobile.com
Download the PIT file here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1919228
Click on PIT in Odin and then select the one downloaded from the link above
then make sure re-partition isn't checked and start the flashing process after it is done flashing and reboots you'll have stock ics to root it simply follow the instructions over at the root ics stock thread found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1919228
This will flash a custom recovery and once the recovery is flashed using Odin reboot into recovery and flash the superuser.zip then you'll have Rooted Stock ICS Firmware
*BOOT LOOP MIGHT OCCUR*
To fix boot looping after flashing stock ICS just boot into stock or custom recovery and wipe data and cache then reboot and you're good to go.

The only thing I will add here is that you don't need the .pit file (it also eliminates the chance of accidental re-partition). Just use the .tar.md5 file as the pda and flash. Also, there isn't any chance of boot looping when flashing the file from the samfirmware site. First boot will take up to 10 minutes.

The PIT I wasn't sure if it was needed or not so I always used it just in case and actually I waited patiently and my phone did bootloop.

Not for ICS you don't. In fact, you only need the .pit for flashing CWM.
For rooting GB 2.3.x then you need the pit.

[ODIN-RESTORE] [GS5-DEV Edition] Flashable Rescue package

I made a data dump backup of all important partitions needed to rescue your phone except for the bootloader.....these are phone specific due to a bootloader unlock key. You can locate all of these images using the link below.
I also created an ODIN flash-able rescue .tar in case you find yourself in a boot loop or other bricked state. This ODIN file contains a Stock rooted system image, stock boot image, and TWRP custom recovery. The name of this file is "GS5-DEV_VZWSTOCK_Rooted.tar.md5.7z" and it can be found by clicking the link below.
##CREDIT##
TWRP For their awesome recovery
Files include:
Main OS
system.img
recovery.img
boot.img
Radios
Modem.bin
ODIN Rescue FIle
GS5-DEV_VZWSTOCK_Rooted.tar.md5.7z
+Unpack ODIN File using 7zip
+Flash using ODIN 3.07 in PDA section
****DO NOT USE "JODIN" TO FLASH
+This will recover your phone back to a bootable state
+After flashing this via ODIN jump into TWRP recovery and wipe cache
+Reboot and you should be back to normal
+If you continue to have issues or force closing jump into TWRP and factory reset
Download Here
If you found this rescue image useful and want to buy me a beer the link is below...
Thanks to those who have donated already.

Need testers for the ODIN flashable rescue file. Let me know if this works to rescue you from a brick state or loop
###FOR DEV VERSION ONLY###
EFS is device specific (IMEI, Mac-address and stuff). You should take it down.
Edit:- same with modemst1 and modemst2 (Snapdragon variants store their IMEI in those two partitions).

haha. One of the greatest show of all time.
By the way, you should left the modem.bin (block mmcblk0p2) in there. Just leave out modemst1 (mmcblk0p13) and modemst2 (mmcblk0p14).
And also you could flash any modem.bin and NON-HLOS.bin (apnhlos) you want since they don't have roll-back protection unlike (aboot, tz etc).
Just to confirm...
This is for the dev (Developer) edition of the SM-900V-dev.
It will NOT work on retail SM-900V.
Has anyone tried this on a retail box yet?

And no one with a retail unit can try it because the bootloader is locked and non signed Samsung odin packages are rejected.

The system.img file might need to be named system.img.ext4. But good job! This will come in handy with a DevS5...I know packages like this have been extremely helpful for those with DevS4's
added ext4 partition to system.img by performing a new data dump with the proper extension. Uploading now. Then Good to go

If the S5 Odin ever becomes available you can theoretically steal its recovery.img file and bundle it with this package. It should be the same recovery file for both dev and consumer S5's. Someone prove me wrong?

I tried flashing GS5 file in JODIN on Mac and says it was corrupt. Re-downloading file again to computer should be done in hopefully 1 days time. Have to use an open wifi neighbors connection. I got stuck in custom recovery due to me forgetting the reactivation lock is enabled in settings so for now im stuck with no options to boot.

Flashed latest SU...bricked! Help!

So I had root working with SU. I updated to the latest SU using flashfire. It flashed and rebooted the phone, now I'm bricked.
I get "security error: This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software and is locked"
I can't get into Recovery or download.
I'm assuming I'm f*cked?
You weren't supposed to update SuperSu it was specifically stated in the original tutorials that updating would cause issues...
Also explain how you aren't able to access the recovery or download mode...
Is the screen black?
Does your computer recognize it when it's plugged in?
All you had to do was extract the newest supersu.apk from the new chainfire release and install via app installer. Hope you got it by now.
Yeah, I got it now.
FYI - extracting the superu.apk doesn't update it. You have to re-run the root.bat that comes with the .zip.
Also, I had to re-flash the stock firmware.
That was scary.
Thanks,
Glad you got it but what I meant was to extract the APK from the zip file transfer it to your phone and then install the APK file regular. either way I'm glad you got it fixed
