how to remove twrp - General Questions and Answers

hello guys, i am practically new on this forum. I have HTC M8 with twrp and please let me know how to remove it and put it original stock rom. thank you on any suggestion please help me

I know this might seem like a silly question, but are you only trying to restore the stock recovery, or do you have a custom rom you want to restore to stock as well? I'm also going to need to know what carrier you have (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)

[Q] Accidentally wiped my system.. Help!!!

1st of all, i am a beginner. Just brought my android ics phone last month. I also rooted my phone by the help of my friend last week. But yesterday i was trying to restore factory settings. But i accidentally wiped my system. And now my phone wont boot. It stuck in BootScreen. Nothing happens then. I dont have the backup of my rom. what to do now ??? Please help!! Sorry for my bad English & Thanks in advance who wanna help me
..
What recovery are you using? Even if you wiped the phone you should still have it running. All you need to do is reboot in recovery mode. Hard to tell you how as I dunno what the phone is.
Before that you'll need to download your stock firmware and put it on the root directory of your SD card if you have one, so that once in recovery you'll actually have something to flash.
If the phone doesn't have a SD slot, then you'll need to use a recovery tool on your PC to flash it.
Right now shut the phone down, remove the battery, find some guides specific about your phone, and read them carefully. There's a reason why we're using recoveries. First thing you should have done is to backup your stock firmware somewhere on your computer or on the cloud, and make sure you knew how to use it if something like that was to happen... Little late for that now.
When you'll know what to do, just mind that you still have enough battery to flash the stock ROM. Come back to ask help here if there's something you don't understand. Good luck!

No problem. Just install this partition manager free. It is perfectly adapted for windows 8. And you are offered a variety of options which can swap/merge/separate new partitions. With a very easy-to-understand instructions, everything is perfect!
Thanks for kindly reply

Hello guys,
I made some mistakes with my phone! I rooted it a few weeks ago with towelroot to use greenify, I also unlocked the Bootloader. I also installed Rom Manager (v5.5.3.7) with the CWM Recovery (6.0.4.5)!
I went to the OTA helpdesk and I thought I am able to flash the OTA like a normal rom. But everytime I try to flash it I get an error saying Installaton Aborded.
Can someone help me please i am quite lost here
Thank you in advance

Hello Eddy,
I already read rootSU´s post! But i cant seem to figure out what i have to do... i am very sorry if I offended someone
the ota updater script checks your system partition. if theres anything modified, missing or not like the native Android 4.4.4 Version, it will abort.
you should be able to download the complete lollipop flashing file from Google Server and flash this with any tool kit. i usually use wug's. but its in you to choose what ever you like.

Help me get 1.65.708.2 RUU or flash an unrooted official rom.

Hello all, I have a query on behalf of a friend (Yuki):
I have wiped my system by mistake and now I cannot boot into my phone again. I would like to get either the link to download the 1.65.708.2 software RUU or any other method to get an unrooted Official Rom back for my Hong Kong 32Gb HTC One A9. Could anyone help me with this issue?

What do you mean?
Mount to SD from recovery, put a ROM you downloaded from the computer on to your phone and flash the new ROM. That way you'll have access into the phone while looking for the RUU.

[Completed] Trying to get back stock recovery for T-mobile Desire 626s

Hi Guys! Hopefully I can find some help here, as my HTC Desire 626s is really getting the better of me here. I've had it rooted and running CWM recovery since I bought it last year, but I want to do the upgrade to Marshmallow 6.0. I've tried several times to get the stock recovery but all the links are either bad or the file seems corrupted. I can flash fine to CWM or TWRP but no matter what I try I just cannot get the stock recovery back.
Would anyone have this image file or know where to find it? T-mobile Desire 626s, a23eul . . Any leads are appreciated . . . Thanks!
