Not difficult to find - it's stickied in the Q&A forum where your QUESTION should be.
I just bought a LG Thrill 4G and downloaded the LG Support tools to update it to ICS. My phone is not rooted and USB debugging is not enabled. After i updated, the phone doesn't respond to touches. Ive tried hard reseting but i can't seem to get anywhere. Im looking for help on how i can just get it back to Gingerbread so it works again

I would like to root my LG DOCOMO Optimus Vu L-06D and eventually upgrade it to android 5.0 or whatever latest android version available. I have been reading your articles regarding rooting but I guess it won't hurt if you provide me detailed discussions regarding my specific unit. Thank you for your generous assistance.

Wow, there is very little info about this device. I don't think there will be any upgrade path to Android 5.0, official, or otherwise. As for root, should be able to use any generic ICS rooting method (KingoRoot may work, KingRoot should based on the description).

i removed the back cover of my phone and under the battery it shows d801 but inside the phone settings it shows d802 how do I determine the exact model number.

Welcome to XDA.
If you got the phone new and gsvent flashed anything on it then go by what it says in settings.
If you got it used then you need to research if anyone has been flashing the 802 on 801. If so then it is a 801 most likely but might also be able to use what the 802 uses.
Try posting your question in the forum linked below. Other information is also available in that forum if you page to its main forum, if you are on PC or mobile browser look at the top of your page when in that forum and you'll see the categories "LG G2>LG G2 Q&A troubleshooting & help" in orange letters, if you click the LG G2 part it will take you to the LG G2 main forum where all the G2 subforums are listed.
