I recently switched from CM10 to JellyBam version 5.2. It is running Android 4.2.1. Ever since I installed it (and I've tried re-flashing it twice) the audio is only coming out of the main speaker and not the headphone jack. Does anyone know why this would happen?
Update:
It seems to not be recognizing the headphones at all. When I set it to make the phone silent when I plug in headphones nothing happened.

If you check that thread you'll see that there are problems routing sound to the headphones in this release.....ther's also a suggested fix as well.

I see that a permanent fix is on it's way through some code change. Others report that app works for them, hope you have the same experience.
It foes work... However the auto detect wasn't working for me... When I use headphones I had to set it that way
.. Using the speaker I had to set it to speaker... Its not jumping through hoops as its just checking an option. But it does indeed get the job done

Gladly that is the only problem I have found on the one but I would like to get this to work, is this an isolated issue or is someone else having the same problem?

I think you're the first one reporting this. As I don't have the phone, I can't help you much, but I can encourage you to get a logcat. I'm interested as well as I plan to use it with a headset as well...

I tried the headphones that come with the SGS5 today and the mic works, the headphones I use on a daily basis are Sony MDR-X10, not sure why their mic line doesnt work on the One, I will try another ones.

I had trouble with the Apple earbods too. Never had an issue on my N4 or N5. Perhaps report on Jira. I reported it and they said "Apple wires them differently" and closed the issue. Kinda dismissive considering Apple earpods mic work on the S4, S5, M8, N4, N5, etc.

I thought that the wiring was a standard thing, I guess I was wrong, the mic line definitely works perfect on SGS5 and Sennheiser earbuds, I hope this is something that can be tweak with software.

Interesting, I'll have to dig through some other headphones then.
My RHA 750i's don't work, that's for sure.

Does the middle button work? Buying those soon but not sure if I should go with the mic or non mic version since the mic won't work.
I used to use a pair of Skullcandy earbuds with mic on my Nexus 5 and now on the OPO it won't work at all. I'm sure it's a software bug.
Anyway to vote for this bug so that it will be worked on?

Tried the Samsung SGS5 headphones on both my OnePlus Ones, the Mic seem to function under sound recording but while making a call the caller on the other end can't quite hear me. My wife says it sounds like a static mess. Can anybody confirm?
I have yet to find a headset/mic that works correctly with the OnePlus One.

Xiaomi Pistons? I got mines from boat2014 today.... I thought I posted on this thread earlier :| not sure what happened to my post or if i didnt post it.
The keys work fine. Vol up and down for volume changes. Tap once for pause, tap twice/three times for track change on poweramp.
Edit: I was confused lol http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/accessories/wired-headphone-mic-volume-buttons-t2847740 your post looked so familiar
Can someone having this issue try a normal call on speakerphone? Might have some bad news for you

Sorry, didn't see this till now.
Middle button works fine (volume buttons don't of course).
I have the Sony noise cancelling earphones and they've always worked fine. I've just tried plugging them in and they suddenly keep appearing as a stereo mic rather than earphones, meaning no sound will play out of them. Any idea how to sort this out?
Any ideas?

have you tried with different earphones to see if the fault is on your device or earphones?
Yeah, other earphones/headphones seem to be working fine with my Z3. The pair that I'm having the problem with seem to work fine in other devices.

have you tried going into sound in settings and go into headphone settings and see if you have chosen correct earphons there and if you have, try changing it to general headphons and see if that makes a change.

Hello there,
I just received my xz premium today, and to my big surprise my headphones (Huawei am185) can't be used with the phone.
I get a message saying ''headphones not supported .......'''
Can that really be true? - never had that issue before with any phone nor' headset.
Is there a way to fix it, and what kind of headset doesent work, kinda scared buying a new pair of headphones that ain't from sony, if they dont work.

Not sure what to say about your issue... I have tried two different headset/headphones and both work without any trouble at all.
Well, i tried some other headphones aswell - they worked fine.
Maybe it's because its from huawei?
is it a certain feature that's not working with them or are they not working at all when you try to play music?
