I just got my LG G3 and have a question about the galaxy and it's ability to sync with picasa .
My prior phone , the s4 did that automatically .
Is there a way for this to be done with the native app ?
I am rooted and bumped if that helps my options.
Thanks

Not sure about the native gallery, but I believe QuickPic will sync Picasa (and drive and Facebook).

Hello Peeps,
This maybe a simple question but how do you sync the photos from Facebook to my Nexus S the simple way?
I tried searching but some ways didn't work but other just seemed too complicated. Also didn't want to get another app as would expect the phone to do it without having to go that far. Also would want it to automatically change the picture if my friend changed their profile picture.
Thanks
Just sign in in the official Facebook for android and there'll be a setting to sync all

I'm moving from a Nexus One to the Inspire and I'm missing my Picasa web albums in the Gallery app.
I've looked in the account options to setup a sync and Picasa is oddly missing as an option.
Any work around I'm not seeing?

Yeah, sign up at htcsense.com and download the Picasa viewer.
Actually I had the same problem but resolved it by downloading the 3d Gallery from the Android market. Once I did this it put back the option to Sync Picasa in the Accounts Sync area for Google.
You may have to reboot the phone for it to work properly.
Just my 2 cents..

Worked for me, thank you! I did have to reboot, BTW.
I downloaded the sense Picasa plugin and had my albums synced, but when I went back again it wasn't syncing and nothing showed up.
I had the option to sync in account setting, buti downloaded gallery 3d anyway and it added a second picasa sync option but still won't work even after reboot.
Does anyone have another idea?
Thanks

I know it is probably considered a workaround but I got sick of the gallery apps altogether a while ago and started using justpictures. Picasa, facebook, etc, plus defined folders. Works very well and doesn't kill the resolution like some stock gallery apk's.

It's never my first option to use apps from the market as a replacement, but this one solves my issue....
Thanks for the idea, I'm glad I can get to my Picasa album now!!

Does this work with google apps accounts that have been transitioned? I downloaded it, have the sync option in account, but whenever I go into the gallery it says I need to add an account. Anyone get this working?
PS - I am on Revolution 3.0
Is there a Gapps with the 4.2 camera (that doesnt freeze) and a gallery app that snycs with picasa?
second question: I also cant get google+ to sync photos. Under android snyc, it shows google photos snyced today, but under google+ it says instant upload is off. when i try to turn it on, it says you need to enable instant upload in "Accounts & Snyc" I dont see any other options other than what ive already enabled. But none of my photos are snycing with google+.
Any thoughts? I'm on liquid smooth beta 3.2
Thanks
I am having the same problem, where Google Plus won't allow me to enable uploads. Is there a fix for this?

If I understood your question correctly and you wanna sync your Facebook friend profile pictures with your contact pictures on your phone, I personally use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.syncme.syncmeapp and find it quite good, it does what it's supposed to.

Hi guys,
What is the best way to set HD photos for contacts?
Contacts are stored on my gmail account, I have not sync them with facebook or any other service and I am not planning to do it.
Every time after flashing the rom pictures are blurry. I believe Google saves them in lower resolution.
Is there any trick to have them always in HD?

I would like to know this too. I am a Google apps user and the contacts images once synced to Google go blurry.
This died not happen with regular Google account only Google apps for domains.
Any suggestions?
This has bugged me for a while but I realized they are actually HD.
What I do is open the people app and click the pic, after a few seconds it'll change to higher resolution and stay that way until you flash a new rom

Nope, nothing changes here. They are still blurry.
But, thank you.

I know you said you didn't want to sync with Facebook but the most foolproof way is to use Haxsync. You can then go into the Haxsync settings and set it to sync with your Google account. They all show up in full resolution afterwards...
