Hi guys, i need your help. I've tried using Xposed framework that suppose to make transparent notification bar. I'm using Xposed v2.6 stable, and i used GravityBox[JB] (Xperia SP stock ROM, JB, locked bootloader, root) as said on the guide, i've been following it, but after reboot why i didn't get transparent bar, is that because my phone not on unlocked bootloader state ?
I'm newbie on android, and this is the first time i did it, and also sorry for my bad english..

Read the full thread
Read the full thread there are a few other zips that you need to install... Ones a battery zip (I think.) another a status bar etc its with in the post if I'm reading it right.. Hope that helps.
i originally followed the guide step by step wthout a single issue other than the status icon issue, i reinstalled the rom was able to get the indicators to display by not installing the STOCK- NONWIPE-UPDATE
RC7.3 STOCK UPDATE. the guide i found indicated i needed to install them both. did i miss something?
You should be good installing the 6.75Z alone without any issues, RC7.3 is just an update. Other than these 2 you don't need to install anything for normal working.
I am using the same rom and don't have any issue. If possible try to follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1446566 guide provided.
It did fixed some issue on my phone.
What seems to happen to people with that rom is they install the main rom and updates all at one time, what needs to be done is install the main rom, let the phone boot and run media scan, once the phone has finished that reboot in to recovery and install any updates. Status bar should be there for ya then.
If you are using the ics launcher, you should be able to pull down the status bar like you pull down the window. also, there is a setting that you can get rid of the 2nd bar somewhere in the settings.
Try also installing Go launcher and see if you can see the status bar there.
i am following this ROM since day one and i did not have this problem.
Hi guys, I have xperia Miro and I think when I changed SystemUI.apk with one like AOSP style with blue icons in status bar, and now when ever I turn off my phone it shows boot animation (actually pretty cool) and when I boot my phone after bootanimation it ALWAYS show text "Android is upgrading. Starting all apps." So how can I make that text dissapear? Maybe it was not systemui.all fault? I think that it may be even boot animation problem, its stock but I installed some in boot animation app (via gplay store) and when I tried to change bootanimation manually it doesn't change, so I had to change it back to stock via boot animation app.

I think that would be because the SystemUI is probably deodexed, and the rest of the ROM is odexed. So Android "optimizes" it every boot.

Ok, how can I "odex" it? I am a real noob in android, and now when I lock the screen the clock is gone in statusbar, also flashed fly-on mod (gotta say that my miro is running like a beast now) and when I go to recovery (cwm) and click on reboot it says rom may flash stock recovery this can not be undone and when i click anywhere no, yes or go back it just reboots.. I believe that i kinda f*cked up my phone so the best thing would be to flash stock rom on it, i cant find any tutorial for flashing the stock rom with flashtool, and i also need .ftf files...
Edit: found a thread about ftfs but cant find flashtool every page says not found
Edit 2: found the flashtool version 0.9.13.0 on depositfiles, returned stock systemui (for now) and the android is starting is gone but the cwm problem is still there, and the clock hide problem too (i think that the clock should show even in lockscreen)...

Sure, see this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1462648
Thanks But I solved it, original systemui already had its own .odex, I just moved it out of /system/app, but now the only thing left is the clock... Here's what I'm talking about:
As you can see I can't see the clock in top right in statusbar but on launcher I can... I think I somehow disabled it, but how? And I imported my custom boot animation (I have the same one on my tablet with bigger resolution) my frames end and then they go back, images are placed correctly... And I still have that cwm reboot bug...

Uhmmmm. Little question: why do you want thr clock in your statusbar when it's already on the lock screen? ^^. It's normal on android to hide the notification clock on the lockscreen.
Have a nice day!

Actually, this doesn't happen on stock. It does happen on CM/AOSP, however, so the mod might have disabled it.
Hello all, I just rooted my galaxy s3 and flashed CyanogenMod 11. This has been working excellently, however when I try to use an app such as ROM toolkit or Xblast tools, none of the customization options seem to work including changing icon colors and boot animation. I have tried fixing permissions via busybox, but it didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.
hello. im new at rooting stuff. ive been an jailbreak/cydia user for years and 1 month ago i switched to android because some reasons...one is because deep down, iphones suck. anyway.. i rooted my galaxy blaze with cwm, something like that..i dont know the roms name...now ive been trying for hours to install the xposed framework...i donwloaded the installer...click install...the installation begins (a rotating circle) i see the shell permision granted etc...then the phone boots up again and xposed is still not active/installed...it shows some red lines..about framework not active or installed. then the app process and xposed bridge are not active...i tried classical install and automatic recovery install...nothing works...
please tell me what can i do? or galaxy blaze 4g doesnt support xposed.
i had an app called disable service (to prevent baseband update by t mobile) ..uninstalled it thinking it might affect xposed...but still no success...
please help me.
Can you please post your Android version ? Its located in settings >about. It is important to know the Rom name that you have installed. Appreciate if you can grab that from the same About screen. Please also install this app first before attempting to install Xposed Installer.
Can you please ensure that the installer does get Root privileges ? It won't install successfully otherwise. You might also wish to read this Xposed Q&A for incompatible Roms.
Hello,
I'm new to the xda community.
I have an allview p6 energy or gionne marathon m3 seems that's the real name. I want to install the notification drawer from Android lolipop and the heads up notifications.
Current android version is: Lollipop 5.0.2
My phone is rooted with supersu. I also installed xposed from playstore even thought all sources told me that it will bootloop on lollipop and only installing from recovery will work.
I attached 2 photos with my status bar and notification drawer, and yes they are separated not sure why.
I found that changing the SystemUi.apk with another one will change my notification drawer but I'm not sure.
Current Notification bar: prnt.sc/e7q890
Current Status bar: prnt.sc/e7q95o
I also tried to install a custom recovery. All of them resulted in breaking my phone. I ressurected it 4 times and gave up.
Thanks in advance.
