[Q] XT1033 with Germany

I've got a XT1033 from singapore,but I cannot find germany in the system language,can I get germany by flashing other firmware or any other solution? THX

But in my XT1033 the dual sim edition moto g there is no "Deutsch",I don't know whether there is it in the Brazilian firmware,but in the official firmware in Asia,no

not available in the dual sim moto g from ausralia either. does anybody know if the 4.4.2 update has been released for the dual sim variant at all?

There is no german language in the dual sim versions.
But you can try "morelocale 2" to get at least installed apps back to german.

I messed it up when I was converting it from Dual sim to single sim :crying:
Can you please provide me the link of the stock firmware of it(Kit kat version). I searched a lot but not getting it!

But it is for KitKat You can get 4.3 from the link that previous message had!

[Q] Need help or suggestions

I am using moto g dual sim handset which was asian firmware and then i unlocked my bootloader after that i flash my asian firmware and install it "eng.GB firmware" and now im waiting for the 4.4.3 update now my question is that will i get the update? Or if i want the update so will i have to roll back to asian firmware to get the update? Please help!

[Q] Consumer Cellular XT1034 to Retail US Firmware

So I just purchased the 1st Gen G for an incredible price off Craigslist tonight and seeing as I'm not a card-carrying AARP member I would like your help in figuring out which Retail US firmware to flash.
Been reading [GUIDE] Moto G - Restore stock firmware and scouring the firmware downloads for Retail US XT1034 but am left scratching my head, especially in regards to the file names in the second firmware source link.
Would someone point me in the right direction?
Oh, and service will be provided by AT&T if that matters.
Also just to confirm: I don't need an unlocked bootloader to flash stock firmware?
Bonus: Any danger in flashing stock retail firmware on a carrier-branded device?
Don't want to brick this wonderfully cheap device.

From what I've seen, you do need the unlocked bootloader. Just try it on the motorola site.

Incorrect, those firmware images are supposed to be flashed on locked devices by engineers before being sold. That is why some images are carrier specific. Also you will get a 'preflash validation' error if you have updated to 4.4.4 and then try to flash a 4.4.2 image.
@ZHXS, you can flash any XT1034 firmware you want without fear. Latest 4.4.4 images are posted in this thread: (actually look through thread)

There is currently no 4.4.4 Retail US XT1034 firmware image. You can flash Retail Canada for now.

my sister bought this device for my uncle from consumer cellular. it says xt1032 but in the battery it says xt1034. also the latest update is 4.4.4. how do i upgrade to lollipop?
