I don't get why you talk about deleted. That makes no sense. You run the fastboot tool from your PC.

Help needed!!NVFlash Bricked my tf700t!

Hi all
I have tried to make my device brick proof using NVFlash metod. I have flashed the AndroidRoot bootloader:
fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash staging ebtblob.bin
I have AndroidRoot 9.4.5.30r01 on the screen after rebooting.
cant generate nvflash blob files with the
fastboot -i 0x0b05 boot nvfblobgen.img it gets stuck. (waited forever)
It would not boot up anymore. It would not get pass the first asus logo.
Fast boot and APX works. Cant get into recovery it gets stuck.
Anything i send to it over fastboot device gets stuck.
is there any way to get back to previous bootloader?
or is there any way to get it fixed?
thank you.
Have you tried downloading ASUS original firmware and put it on your microSD and recover from there.
Refer to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1755576
Best of luck!

That didn't work. It just goes to "booting recovery kernel image" and gets stuck.
is there any other way?
Which ROM are you running? The latest unofficial CM10 (by hiemanshu) requires the JB bootloader -- it wouldn't boot on my 700 with the AndroidRoot bootloader. There is a link to a simple how-to here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32647108&postcount=659
After you've tried that, please report back in.
Oh, and errrr, on my computer, the connection server is wonky. Try and give the commands to kill and restart the (adb) server -- that always starts functionality on my x64 Windows 7 machine):
adb kill-server
adb start-server

Now I am in even more trouble. I have tried to do this:
ASUS original firmware and put it on your microSD and recover from there.
Refer to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1755576
and it just got stuck on "booting recovery kernel image"
and any time I turn it on now with power button + volume down button it just goes automatically to "booting recovery kernel image" and hangs there forever. Cant even get options anymore to get to fast boot .

Shame you didn't try the kill/restart trick -- that might have given you the blobs you'd need to recover from this. I do not think there is an option to recover with adb/fastboot access, although you might try scrounging the forum and get a lucky hit. Otherwise, it's ASUS tech support for your device.

As long as your device is recognized in fastboot mode you have a high chance to recover but he can't get in fastboot anymore, so sending back to Asus it's all he can do.

Is fastboot working? Unlock bootloader and push custom recovery there. Go to adb sideload and that should work eventually. I had an issue with HTC One M7 - someone deleted sytem, and cyanogenmod installer helped, because it pushed CWM recovery, maybe try that one as well?

Don't give up.... I was in the same position like you for a couple days....and now is fix by my self..... If you unlock your bootloader try to lock back (fastboot oem lock) now try to flash via fastboot Philz Recovery ( try until is rebooting himself into recovery) .... After that put on a memory stick the new system .... You may need to mount the USB flash drive ..... That's exactly what I have done....Good Luck ...
It is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to actualy, truly "brick" these devices. There are way too many safeguards in place.
Be careful before announcing that you are "bricked". Bootlooping (which is what your device was doing) is not "bricked". As long as you have fastboot, you can always reflash recovery, and then use recovery to reflash your custom ROM (or you can bypass all of that and reflash the factory images from fastboot).
Don't panic, you know more than you think you know. Just don't get freaked out, and read. You'll be fine.

Stuck on boot screen

I may have bricked, want to know what went wrong and if it's permanent. Thanks, here's how it happened.
I was running one of the Omnirom nightly builds. I got a notification saying there was a new build, I decided to try it hoping it would improve my battery life. I had TWRP installed so I thought it would be ok (I chose to let it update automatically which I guess was my mistake). It did the update or tried to at least, but when it tried to boot it just gets stuck on the Asus screen. The one with the loading bar. Volume up or down with power button does nothing but get back to the same screen. Reset (using a pin) and volume up or down does the same thing. I thought the only way to permanently boot was doing the wipe option on the recovery menu, but maybe I am wrong. Is it possible to permanently brick doing what I did? Thanks. Any possible solutions?

Unlikely. What always works, if you can put it into fastboot, is install the Asus stock ROM. That will reformat/reinstall every partition.

My bootloader is unlocked, unless I am misunderstanding what you're saying. On the Asus screen it says this device is unlocked. Not sure why I can't access any of the options though, unless my volume buttons is busted or something.

First step: Install new TWRP
1. Download TWRP recovery from here: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/tf300t; I would advise v. 2.8.4.0
2. Put 'openrecovery-twrp-2.8.3.0-tf300t.blob' in fastboot folder of pc and rename to twrp.blob for faster typing.
3. Put tab in fasboot mode and connect.
4. Use command
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash staging twrp.blob[enter]
fastboot -i 0x0b05 reboot[enter]
5. Let tab reboot to OS (will stay on ASUS screen, because you don't have OS as of now).
6. Reboot to bootloader screen and go to recovery (RCK); now you can flash any custom ROM you like.
Good luck!

No! Recovery comes way after fastboot mode. Recovery is loaded from your memory card. But something went wrong with your memory card, so you can't load that.
Once you booted your tablet into fastboot, type :"fastboot devices" on your PC. If it shows your tablet, you can easily flash a new ROM.

Soft bricked shield tablet PLEASE HELP!

So I bought my shield tablet back in March, used it until about may I think. Was browsing the internet then it suddenly crashed and got stuck on the Nvidia boot screen. tried to reboot several times. Nothing. So I forgot about it and thought I would just google the reset option later when I had time. Now since June I have tried everything! From factory reset to fast boot and adb my pc won't even recognize my tablet. Also I never turned on usb dbugging cause I didn't even know what that was. I even gave it to the IT guys at work and they couldn't fix it. Now after reading everything there is to read on this problem and trying to fix it myself I'm stuck on the no command screen with the dead android robot. And now I hear there is a recall do to the battery, I can't even check what type I have. So if someone can please help me I would be much appreciative. Also this happened after updating to the latest OS.
okay so i was able to unlock the bootloader and start flashing but from fastboot flash recovery.img and beyond it says failed to write. any ideas of why?

TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) is a custom recovery that you can flash on your device. You can flash it like the stock recovery over fastboot. With TWRP you can make full system backups, installing roms or other stuff, wipe partitions and more. Keep trying to install the drivers on your pc. Try to use another usb slot or boot your pc into test mode to install the driver. If you can still access the bootloader, you have really good chances to rescue your device.
Okay will try that. Thanks man.

I see what your doing wrong. You probably don't even have the recovery img to flash. That's why it's giving you a write error.
There is a tutorial in the general section, that should have all the files and links, etc etc that you'll need to flash TWRP/CWM recovery and root the device if you want

First off, let me ask, what is your end result for the tablet?? Are you trying to just go a Complete stock tablet or are you trying to do anything custom (ex. Custom rom, recovery etc etc)
I'm assuming that since you unlocked your Bootloader, your trying to do something custom.

Those official nVidia recovery images come with smaller .img files such as recovery.img, system.img, etc. You'll need to flash those one by one ("fastboot flash recovery recovery.img", then run "fastboot flash system system.img", etc. etc.) or you can just run the flashall script that I think is included in the nVidia images.
Otherwise, if you want to flash TWRP, you'll need to download the TWRP recovery (you can rename it to "twrp-recovery.zip"). Then you'll need to "fastboot flash twrp-recovery.zip" in order to flash the twrp recovery to your tablet.

OK. Then the link I gave earlier should help flash stock software onto your tablet.
However, that guide is only to go back to factory "state" Operating System wise. It may not help with hardware. Once your flash everything correctly but device still doesn't boot, its probably not software related.

Bringing you back to the bootloader was expected behavior. The "write fail" is a mystery to me. Sorry, that is all that I can offer.
