The custom ROM for our A2 has been COOKED!!!!! :victory:
So before i tell u about my ROM i want to remind u that this is the first nd only custom rom for our A2!!!
SO HERE WE GO:good:
They say that one should only get positives from when his critics spray him with negativity. That is exactly what I did and I ''DANIYAL SHEIKH'' bring to you my first ever & new ROM for the Qmobile Noir A2 “THUNDERSTORM1”. I must say that I am very pleased with this effort as I was getting a lot of criticism since the time I said I’ll be making it. I hope the members who criticized my efforts will eat poop and download this ROM of mine.

STEPS TO FLASH THUNDERSTORM1
1:- Download ROM from above link.
2:- Copy ''THUNDERSTORM1.zip'' to ur sdcard & turn off the phone.
3:- Now go to cwm recovery nd first do a factory reset then wipe cache nd dalvik cache.
4:- Now go install update from sdcard nd select THUNDERSTORM1.zip nd hit ok
5:- Let it complete & please be patient it could take 5 mints to boot.
6:- Enjoy THUNDERSTORM1 by DANIYAL SHEIKH
7:- Now open this thread & hit thanks for me nd show ur support
NOTE :-
I have Qmobile A2 v2 phone but i hv v3's firmware flashed in my phone so if u bricked ur A2 , em not responsible but i know i will run on A2 v2 nd also the users of Fly IQ245+ can use this rom.if u bricked ur phone any case restore ur backup, don't spam here
It is fully ics custom themed nd upgraded to 2.3.7 from 2.3.6 nd soon it will be 4.0
However, I urge all my supporters and readers not to copy this effort of mine and give credits if you need to use it.
cuz it takes 4 to 5 months to create this ROM & also dont mirror links & post on other forums. other developers i know u hv to used my rom as ur base to create another rom so please if u do this then mention my rom there.

I want able to get root access .. my superuser said outdated binary .. so I had to reflash super user .. then I was able to regain root access thanks anyways
btw how do I remove the other language? I uncheck it everytime and when I open languge option it shows checked... :s

One Thing That Hasan Said In His Blogspot was that Qmobile A2 , MicroMax A45 are someway similiar and as i see that micromax roms have got ext2 and ext4 modules so can you guys decompile the kernel of micromax and take out the needed modules of ext2 and ext4 ..? What Say Guys..?

hardware nd screen resolutions are same but the firmware is totally different
mmx A45 is MT6573 phone nd our phone A2 is MT6575 phone nd also mmx a45 is s8030 nd A2 is upgraded one s8034 so its not possible.:/

Best rom for a110q. Only 2 big bugs for me in this rom
1. Video recording (illusion pro lags)
2. Front cam not working for me

For memory swap in CM 11 v 0.19
Instead of changing the boot.img, download kash kernel of v 0.16 and extract it. Now you will find a file named boot.img. Now use flashify app to falsh it and reboot. Now you could find your memory swapped. But keep a backup before flashing. I tried it. Worked better for me. Still not satisfied with camera.

WIP cyanogen 11 mod for micromax A110Q from digvijay
I tried to flash the rom in my micromax A110Q but it shows error in the zip file.. Please fix it sir... And.. Is the camera working? The Bluetooth? The tethering? I emailed digvijay but there was no reply... Is it still work in progress??

i placed the zip file in sd card after that i choose to instal frm sd card but main problem is after some time msg comes as "cant open the package " installation is aborted .... i dnt have any other option so i did recovery frm cmw

I have ported the last release of cm11 found on this group to my blu studio 5.0 ce mt6571 soc device.
it booted successfully each time however as soon as it reaches sett-up wizard it enters shutdown thread. ADB log cat is showing that each successful boot leads to an immediate shutdown..

you can use Meteos mtk6589 partition tool app for android.with this you can increase your app storage

I was longing to get xperia devices. But you solved my prob. It really nice ROM. But few con's I am facing. Pleas help,
* Wlakman and album doesn't shows the content from sd card after some time. those are gets displayed once reboot.

I did with 880 bt m unable to play my games like clash of clan , smash hit .
When i cal smeone , sme time sencer works and sme time not.
When i put my ph on charging on 90% red led turns into yellow ..
Plz fix and help meee bro and ty.

That's not partition problem those problems with rom. Maybe new updates fix these bugs

Hi, I have first time rooted my phone Micromax A110q and have flashed htc m8 kitkat rom using CMW recovery. I have followed all the steps and have done that. But after that I got stuck into boot animation. I have tried many things like clearing cache, dalvik cache and etc etc. But all of no use. Plz help me

Patch is not working

I tried V2 Patch 2 times but it is not working and always give installation aborted error. Please fix this so that we can enjoy this rom.

First of all i would like to thank rohit for this awesome rom and ui ....
But i am facing some bugs those are as follows:
1) Dolby plus will not start it will show up like unfortunately, dolby has stopped.
2) R- settings is not at all working for ex: I will check on the ram progress bar after i close the settings it will be automatically unchecked.
Apart from these i am not facing any problem so, kindly reply asap and fix the above bugs. once again thank you .

First of all its not my ROM...
And second you should repartition ur system and then flash the rom...
There is a thread for repartition your system partition by Faiz. You should use the method before installing this ROM...

DO U HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF CWM. IF U DONT THEN FLASH THE LATEST (6.0.50)THEN FLASH THE ROM.:good:

Copy system/lib/libcameracustom.so from any other 4.2.2 ROM and paste it in your system. Set permissions and reboot.

Use tweaks like pure performances x or nitrox spark edition 2.1 for good performance...

Great ROM. Have only one issue for me!
This ROM can be named as the best rom I've ever used on this device in terms of performance and looks. Gives a decent battery life and when clocked carefully, will give you awesome performance as well! The Xperia launcher is better than the epic launcher in my opinion. Inbuilt Greenify donation pack is a gem! Thank you developers for adding the donation pack.
The only issue I face is when trying to play videos on YouTube via the YouTube app (browser plays YouTube videos well)
The videos lag and only the sound plays on even after the full video is buffered! Please try to provide a patch for this issue. Except that, this ROM is excellent. Thanks a lot for the devs for an awesome Lollipop experience in our A110.
