The custom ROM for our A2 has been COOKED!!!!! :victory:
So before i tell u about my ROM i want to remind u that this is the first nd only custom rom for our A2!!!
SO HERE WE GO:good:
They say that one should only get positives from when his critics spray him with negativity. That is exactly what I did and I ''DANIYAL SHEIKH'' bring to you my first ever & new ROM for the Qmobile Noir A2 “THUNDERSTORM1”. I must say that I am very pleased with this effort as I was getting a lot of criticism since the time I said I’ll be making it. I hope the members who criticized my efforts will eat poop and download this ROM of mine.

STEPS TO FLASH THUNDERSTORM1
1:- Download ROM from above link.
2:- Copy ''THUNDERSTORM1.zip'' to ur sdcard & turn off the phone.
3:- Now go to cwm recovery nd first do a factory reset then wipe cache nd dalvik cache.
4:- Now go install update from sdcard nd select THUNDERSTORM1.zip nd hit ok
5:- Let it complete & please be patient it could take 5 mints to boot.
6:- Enjoy THUNDERSTORM1 by DANIYAL SHEIKH
7:- Now open this thread & hit thanks for me nd show ur support
NOTE :-
I have Qmobile A2 v2 phone but i hv v3's firmware flashed in my phone so if u bricked ur A2 , em not responsible but i know i will run on A2 v2 nd also the users of Fly IQ245+ can use this rom.if u bricked ur phone any case restore ur backup, don't spam here
It is fully ics custom themed nd upgraded to 2.3.7 from 2.3.6 nd soon it will be 4.0
However, I urge all my supporters and readers not to copy this effort of mine and give credits if you need to use it.
cuz it takes 4 to 5 months to create this ROM & also dont mirror links & post on other forums. other developers i know u hv to used my rom as ur base to create another rom so please if u do this then mention my rom there.

I want able to get root access .. my superuser said outdated binary .. so I had to reflash super user .. then I was able to regain root access thanks anyways
btw how do I remove the other language? I uncheck it everytime and when I open languge option it shows checked... :s

One Thing That Hasan Said In His Blogspot was that Qmobile A2 , MicroMax A45 are someway similiar and as i see that micromax roms have got ext2 and ext4 modules so can you guys decompile the kernel of micromax and take out the needed modules of ext2 and ext4 ..? What Say Guys..?

hardware nd screen resolutions are same but the firmware is totally different
mmx A45 is MT6573 phone nd our phone A2 is MT6575 phone nd also mmx a45 is s8030 nd A2 is upgraded one s8034 so its not possible.:/

i surely will . the only problem is that my internet is slow and it will take time , secondly i am in 10 and i am studying for board exams .

i am seraching for aisha . a50 users say that it is a branded version of iris . both are same . and -kul rom- v3 will be my own rom . it will not be any of the other modded rom like jet2.1 . this time i have made rom of my own and it is in testing . screenshots coming soon ......

searching roms for my a85 any help regarding that
i was in process of installing this rom for Xolo A700. >> link to the rom by yasirmujtaba http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2241178
everything worked out well (message displayed .. installation success). but after reboot, my phone stuck at the Intel Xolo logo screen. i have tried reinstalling the rom several times, but always stuck on the Intel Xolo logo screen. please help me to get past this.
i have also made backup of the original rom and it restores quite easily. but when i try installing this custom rom, it stucks at logo screen again. please help me.

Let me tell the truth,the features of all custom rom are just crap like better camera, sony bravia engine ***** please devs ,we know who u r n from where u all custom rom devs came so just stop fooling people.
You can make add features like Extrance in ur lava xolo without these roms...just search forum and say ***** PLEASE to these rom devs. There is nothing better like stock rom.

actually, i was pretty much amazed by the features that developer described.... however i know the capabilities of the hardware on Xolo A700. but then again i thought let's just give it a try..
as i stated earlier in my above post that i made a backup of the system before installing custom rom.(m not stupid person)
i just restored the backup and my phone is working perfectly.( thanks to good lord)
actually i love the ICS stock rom. stock is the best.

@Ankur Yadav : please donot comment on other peoples work when you havent tried them. We put in a lot of effort in porting roms for unsupported device and if u cant appreciate it please dont make a mockery out of it. All the people who have tried the ROM have experienced the difference and the features. So dont make any allegations without knowing. Thanks

And for langiage just change it from indonasian to english from settings

i can see its a modded jellybean... follow my screen shots to get to the language settings..
goto settings>lang. and input>FIRST OPTION!
U could recognise menus by icons... look at the screens..

Well We Guys Have Already Got CWM Recovery And Also Have Rooted Our Phones But If U Want More Than CWM Recovery Here I Present U A Ported TWRP Recovery For Our Beloved QMobile NOIR A2.
Okay Firstly Its The First Build It May Have Bugs But I Have Not Encountered By Any If U Find Any Bug Please Inform Me Here.
The Recovery Seems To Work Also U Can Use Touch Screen While Using The Recovery.
DO NOT MIRROR THE DOWNLOAD LINK ! Sorry For That But People Often Copy Work And Give No Credit To The Dev. (If You Still Want To Ask Me First)
You Are Allowed To Share My Work But Don't Forget To Credit Me.
Installing The Recovery:
1.Its The Same Way As U Flash CWM Using SP Tool Or U Can Also Use Mobile Uncle App From Play Store.

thread updated i have tested the build they all work fine but if anyone is using V2.5 or V2.7 if you encounter any bugs tell me. the other versions work fine
cant change the recovery to twrp
i have tried flashing using sp flash tool for this verison but the recovery from cwm CWM-Recovery-6.0.2.7 is not changing to TWRP_V2.5_QMobile_NOIR_A2_By_LPCRJ or version 2.7 either i did that before i remember the red download bar goes to 100% not the green one but no use please help

Android ONE series get cynogen mod 4.4.4(CM11) & others also getting it, why dont u ppl make edit & port for our xolo Q3000 device......
Its my Humble request for u to make such great work like what u have done ex:- Lg G3 rom, Samsung Octamod rom, Android L edit rom.

I am trying for cm11 but the developers are not responding to pm
u need linux installed for compling from source and i dont want to install a os for cm11 with many major bugs.
second sim is almost unusable, camera without videos, bluetooth fm issues.- these are some major bugs which are used in daily usage
so i am much reluctant to porting it.
will see if developers reply

Patch is not working

I tried V2 Patch 2 times but it is not working and always give installation aborted error. Please fix this so that we can enjoy this rom.

First of all i would like to thank rohit for this awesome rom and ui ....
But i am facing some bugs those are as follows:
1) Dolby plus will not start it will show up like unfortunately, dolby has stopped.
2) R- settings is not at all working for ex: I will check on the ram progress bar after i close the settings it will be automatically unchecked.
Apart from these i am not facing any problem so, kindly reply asap and fix the above bugs. once again thank you .
not able to flash the patch

i flashed the rom and saw that there was no google apps except playstore and play music . plz tell me a solln. apart from that the rom is awesome

Did u repartitioned ur system partition...???
camera not support focus

First of all its not my ROM...
And second you should repartition ur system and then flash the rom...
There is a thread for repartition your system partition by Faiz. You should use the method before installing this ROM...

DO U HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF CWM. IF U DONT THEN FLASH THE LATEST (6.0.50)THEN FLASH THE ROM.:good:

Copy system/lib/libcameracustom.so from any other 4.2.2 ROM and paste it in your system. Set permissions and reboot.

Great ROM. Have only one issue for me!
This ROM can be named as the best rom I've ever used on this device in terms of performance and looks. Gives a decent battery life and when clocked carefully, will give you awesome performance as well! The Xperia launcher is better than the epic launcher in my opinion. Inbuilt Greenify donation pack is a gem! Thank you developers for adding the donation pack.
The only issue I face is when trying to play videos on YouTube via the YouTube app (browser plays YouTube videos well)
The videos lag and only the sound plays on even after the full video is buffered! Please try to provide a patch for this issue. Except that, this ROM is excellent. Thanks a lot for the devs for an awesome Lollipop experience in our A110.
