From the CWM, You can flash either the stock rooted or modded rom
If you are installing the Stock ROM, install superuser apk from the play store and update Binary
After flashing the stock ROM, please reset your phone

Method of Flashing CWM to the Device!
First of all, Thanks a lot for the ROM! but how do I flash cwm? My device is rooted, has SuperSu and Busy Box installed. can you gimme a small guide, abt 3-4 steps? and I dnt care if the CWM is chinese or english, Just have to flash the roms properly. and there are couple of pics on the net, that shows the tanslation of the chinese to English! Here :

As It is BLU DASH 4.0
As MrJhakass Rightly pointed, Blu Dash 4.0 is Our Lava Xolo A500. Blu Dash 4.0 is UPGRADABLE to 4.1 Jelly Bean. So I guess the rom(stock 4.1) will be supported on our devices too, cz it has the Same specs(CPU,GPU.:cyclops:.) . So we need to get hold of the Stock 4.1 Rom from Blu Dash 4.0

He Guys I have found English CWM Recovery for XOLO A500. The recovery is also working as expected.

Flashed it! works Perfect. When can the Xperia Modded Rom be fixed? Gapps force closes on it. and Is there any means by which we can Improve gaming on Xolo A500, Some games dnt work cz of ICS and those which run laggs/freezes/closes. :-/

I'll try to build a new one with the new firmware I got from the service centre
Seems better then what I had before.
But I'll post it after 18th of this month

edit : when you select reboot device select yes this will prevent itfrom doing so
will stick to the stock rom for now

I tried the xperia modded rom in videocon A0, all is well except the play store crashing on opening and camera app freezing on recording video. Stock rooted rom is running very well.
To tell there is a cwm recovery in english as i already posted.

Download The GApps of your choice(with facelock or without) and install it through CWM like other rom...

Working Well on Videocon A30...!!
Flashed the Xperia Modded Rom on vA30. Resolved the Play Store FC issue by flashing gapps for ics (gapps-ics-20111230-signed), faced a slight issue bcoz the camera.apk got deleted after flashing the gapps...Had to manually insert a deodexed camera.apk into the system/app folder...
Only Problem with this ROM is that it doesnt recognize the Internal SD unless an external mmc is inserted (givesno storage available/ unable to mount storage error) ... If anybody knows how to resolve this minor bug plz help..... Except for this minor bug. the ROM is working great, Increased Battery backup,better ram management(more free ram), better audio and more responsive touch.. I think this the best rom for vA30 if the storage issue is resolved.... :good::good::good:

No Camera
Hi my friend has a xolo a500 and I wanted to try a custom rom, so did root the mobile first, but after the root, am not able to open the camera app, when I open I get a error message, cant connect to camera. tried flashing the xperia rom, still no camera app. tried a few camera app in system > app folder with 644 permissions, still same message. please help. Tried flashing stock rom, still same " cant cannot to camera"

HOW TO INSTALL
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
After the boot logo (boot logo may look as if its stucked)
blank screen is seen its not hanged.
wait until it boots.
Phone reboot once inbetween so dont worry.

Tried...
Have kk base currently on android L rom.
Happy to have cynogenmod test to our device..
First thing i noticed is... its not rooted... though the op says it & it has superuuser in system/apps.. checked with root checker too. When tried to boot in recovery it booted in factory test mode... rebooted.
Installed rootmaster to get root access.
Then installed flashify..
Flashify showed filz recovery as current.. booted in philz recovery through flashify..
Tried to flash the rom again..
Same result.
I think something wrong with my device.. can it be becoz of uboot flashing??
Will try one more kk rom to confirm.
BTW.. all basic things working..
Wifi- google sync-:thumbup:
Wanted to test some more things but feeling sleepy now..
Also the rom is not deodexed.

i'm given to understand he did his best to deodex stuff.....
check avi3230's this post, this other post and also this post.
i badly want stock deodexed kk rom. hopefully he'll continue to try.

Great job avi bro, I'm sure you'll be able to make actual CM. Devs are able to make CM11 for Micromax A116. Still few bugs, but are successful to a great extent.

No.. The flashing was normal, no such instructions/ requests, phone booted normally, yes hut for first flash it directly booted .. Without one time wizard.. It didn't asked for google account.
But for the second try one time initiation happened normally. With req for google account & all.. Rather than this diff the issue of no root was same...
One more thing Do you use Airtel sim???
After flash I get service providers name as Airtel though 'm using idea. It turns to idea after some time.

Camera is best part... But looks like eats up more battery. A longer run on this may give a clear picture.

Tried Google keyboard , works fine.

No matter what, don't stop churning out ROMs for our device. I'm trying each and every ROM you are cooking up too. I guess lot of people use the ROMs but are time bound send in reviews. I'm sure everyone here truly appreciates the good work you do :highfive:

Actually, avi u r much faster, keep some time lag between two ports, so that end users may get sufficient time to enjoy the new port. Then u will get proper reviews.

Testing rom since last night, some issues I've found are:-
1. Rom is improperly rooted, superuser is not working
2. No space is available in /system
3. Poor network coverage reception
4. Charging battery icon in switched off mode is distorted.
5. No restart option in power menu.

Other new functions in camera are good n one more thing the result of picture is better

review on this rom, so far one of the best..
-nova launcher is awsome,but i cant set wallpaper on it..no problem,install quickpic from playstore and set your favourite wallpaper.:good:
-driving mode characters in turk..better translate at least in english.
-video app not working
-google search/voice FC
-no SMS service
-camera buggy and FC/video only at 480p
i ve fixed all errors and make some tweaks and now its running awsome here..i ve flashed from a clean install...android fc at start but just go to date and take off automatic date..if someone want to test my version and @avi3230 says ok i will upload it.

note-ON first run it will give android ui error..just follow all steps until the end and go quickly to date and take automatic date..it will stop and you can set up your rom.
INSTALLATION:
backup your rom
backup your IMEI (i have to do it because i have a BQ and i need this, in xolo i dont know what happens.but just in case(folder in data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI --»COPY ALL FILES to computer.
do all wipes as normal
install the rom from zip card.
reboot.
if anyone has problems with IMEI just upload the files and send it to me..i have a flashable to restore it in 2 seconds.

HOW TO INSTALL
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
wait until it boots.
After first boot ignore any systemui fc​

im a fan on coloros rom..i ve ported it for galaxy s2 and its amazing..althoug my version was 4.2.1 with stamina mode and other coloros OS tweaks..great work my friend..i sure must try this rom.

system does not starts....it only restarts every time....almost 15 times it has been restarted till now....waiting for first boot....

Plz solve the problem...

There is a upload error with the rom, as i give all files to upload to my friend because of my lightening fast internet speed.
Currently i am on BQ rom and making kernel from source which maybe useful to make cm for xolo.
Already i have TWRP 2.8.1.0 made by XDA member.
I will definatly cure the error with least possible download means a patch to flash after rom, as most of u downloaded the rom already.
As I am busy with this give me some time of 2-3 days to get a conclusion and upload a patch or whole rom.

i believe in avi320 and i like his work..but as fellow developer i never release a rom without testing..thats why i asked..but now i know that is upload error and not him..just like this rom is one of my favourites (i ve released a v2 for galaxy s2 http://smokermanxda.blogspot.pt/2014/07/coloros-20-android-422.html.
@avi320 are you in a BQ ROM wich one? stock kitkat? it works fine on your xolo? how is the partitions? it makes 16gb with 13 gb available like in my BQ 5.7? I d like to work on a customized kernel with a few more governors and with the partitions solved but we have so few users with this phone..it seems not worth it to work on it.
another problem is that your ported roms in our BQ doesnt recognize DUAL SIM..only 1 SIM..look at build props:

Hello Sir,
I flashed BQ stock ROM, have a builded kernel from BQ source.
BQ and xolo are clones. We can use any stock rom just need to flash whole rom with sp tools.
Yes there is partition problem - it shows only one partition phone storage as 13gb.
Its the main reason kernel not working in xolo roms as partition table is different - we are trying to solve the problem by making changes in kernel.
It is as u said number of users are less and those who use dont respond much- lets see how far we can go - if kernel boots in xolo.
If u willing to experiment just try this - (already sent a PM to charlie_1988 on HTCmania but he not yet responded.)

If ur on BQ rom (flashed BQ rom)
goto recovery
backup current rom
flash my any kitkat rom
flash [URL="http://d-h.st/Xnlv"]this[/URL] patch
boot.
I already tried above method with
I flashd whole BQ rom
then
legand rom/SGS5 v2 rom
then patch
successfully booted.
Try and report.

The confusion between me and uploader cost this trouble.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused because of the miscommunication between me and my friend.
I tried my level best and no one has to download the rom again if u follow the steps given in this post.

QUyes your efforts has made this rom working ..replying from the same rom..but two things i have observed initially...1 networknot showing any receving line 2. Data on notification is continuously blinks on screen
