gameloft supports tegra 2 on the transformer?

i read that some gameloft titles work on the xoom while others dont. anyone know which one works on the transformer? im interested in HAWK and Starfront.

I tried the golf game - no go. Seems to crash trying to play the opening video clip.

I tried The Settlers HD, all I got was a small white screen (like it wasn't scaled up). Although I can hear the music plays just fine in the background.

tried lets golf and it doesnt work on my transformer. Found a posting about xoom and gameloft and it showed what games work, so i tried Spiderman and is working great.

i have the following gameloft games working on eee transformer- Hero of sparta, shadow guardian (very choppy, but does run ) , nova near orbit , brothers in arms 2 -all hd . also have nfs shift working. i would like to know if anyone has tried ashphalt 6 or modern combat 2.

i tried asphalt 6 but no dice said my device waasnt compatable then chucked me to home

I have the Xoom versions of Asphalt 6 and NOVA working and they are perfect. What version of NFS Shift do you have working, and also Brothers in Arms 2?

Any gameloft game game that requires u to play online multiplayer wont work because transformer lacks an imei. Thats something the Xoom has that the transformer doesnt. Once someoneakes a framework with am imei it will open up the tramsformer to alot more quality games. A good example would be homerun battle . U cant play it on the transformer due to lack of imei

NOVA keeps force closing for me. I downloaded the XOOM version, and it loads, but once I get about 30 seconds into gameplay, I just get a force close. Any ideas? Rally wanna play this one too!

Damn, looks like the 3.1 update took out all the gameloft games... wonder if I can downgrade back to 3.0.1, or if its even worth it.
Hope this game runs on my Evo3d when it comes.

That happened on my desire HD when I went from froyo to gingerbread'just reinstalled them and they worked fine

My asphault still works for whatever reason. Spiderman doesn't. Gameloft is promising a fix.

do these game still work afyer 3.1 update i have tried many but on work the only 1 i got working was ashphalt 6 turn off touch controls and it runs ok

I downloaded Ashpalt 6 on Sunday & i appears to be working perfectly. I am going to try Spiderman next.

i tried spider man didnt work force closes after start
any 1 got any others working would love to play nova but no luck yet
if you have games working can you post games and version

Asphalt 6HD works fine on Transformer 3.1. Bought and downloaded on Gameloft. I had to say I was from India and Other telco provider and it downloaded the APK fine and then an additional 528MB of data.
As for the device, I stated mine was the Acer Iconia A500.
Worth $2.00! Played till 1:30am last night. Too bad Starfront Collision doesn't work on Transformer.
Tried to redownload on Nook Color with CM7, and it says invalid APK..... ;(

have you checked street fighter 4 ? is it working without lag and glitches ?

Well i have played modern combat 3,4, gta 3, asphalt 6,7, nfs most wanted, shadowgun, six guns, and much more without lag on atrix 2

Yes... Street Fighter 4 works perfectly with the Qualcomm plugin of Chainfire3D and GB 2.3.6. Absolutely no lags or white background. Street Fighter 4 does not work on ICS. This is not a limitation of the ATRIX 2 however, but a compatibility issue with the game itself.

There is a way actually as I remember playing Samurai II: Vengeance THD (Tegra version) a few months back on my ATRIX 2 device. You will need the Chainfire3D app along with the nvidia GPU plugin for it to work.

I suggest buying a Tegra3 device if you can afford. Very high end is Tegra territory. The Optimus 4x HD is available for a sweet price, after the launch of the Nexus 4.
Atrix 2 is capable. I guarantee it will run most games (non-tegra), but, it is not something that will last. If you were asking this same question 8-9 months back, I would've suggested you to go for it, but, not now.

Another great news for xp i think, should be much smoother than ppsspp

Nds4droid already works really well on high end devices like my nexus 10. It plays Pokemon at a good speed. If the reviews are good i might actually get it since 8 dollars is better then buying a ds

Really well does not equal to full speed, this one can be full speed even without any frameskip just by some dual core device such as SOC 8260.
The jit technique Nds4droid uses come frome GPSP which written by exophase who developed Drastic.
So they are totally different levels

looks promising not sure if to get hopes up but looks good

Oh wow! Can't wait for this one, gotta love how you can resize the screens! Rather than have have the main screen cover most of the display and the second screen only cover a little, it would be awesome if it kept the main screen at full display size and added the second screen as a half-transparent overlay just like a map in any game which is alot of what the DS uses it for.

i've installed all the nds4droid versions . ( the latest is 37 ) . it can't run any games on standard speed on our xperia play . just pokemon prove that is works ??!!

I said on high end devices like the nexus 10 and pokemon is a pretty heavy game. I also tested super Mario bros and Mario kart. On the play it obviously won't work

If this comes to fruition, I will gladly pay $8 for it. Considering the time and skills required to develop a near full speed emulator on a single core device, I reckon that's the least its worth.

New PizzaDox's rom and DikeJ's kernel come good !

Fortunately, this has been tested on XP And works games very well(nearly full speed) check here for minimum speed required for games : pandorawiki.org/DraStic_Compatibility_List_1.x <- List is a bit outdated, i expect this to be out next week

M8 with game emulators

Added: Besides radio reception, I always wonder about this subject with new devices and chipsets, so decided to test myself and not wait.
I have been testing game emulators with the M8, since with the exception of Dolphin, all others are CPU heavy (Dolphin is heavy on GPU and CPU). MAME games like Dead or Alive ++, Rival Schools and Street Fighter EX2 are good examples that really test how powerful the CPU is, since the 3D is CPU emulated.
Though obvious Android 3D games will be faster on the M8 (S801) than the S4, MAME 3D games were just as choppy on the M8 as the S600 and S800. This kind of surprised me since expected some improvement over the S600. So far, the only chipset that MAME plays as smooth as a laptop or PC is the A7 chipset. It plays Dead or Alive, etc all smoothly. I appreciate that is two different platforms, but the app devs state both are compiled similarly to the point of the platforms not making a difference.
A7 though is a tangent to Android, but a point that it is possible for the full MAME .139 and 3D games to play smooth on a portable device. I expect the S5 will be similar to the M8 in spite of the higher clock. The 5420 Note 2014 is faster with MAME than the M8, but still not arcade smooth like the iPad Air with A7.
Perhaps the 64bit chips later this year will be the point for par. N64 and PSP were also no better framerates than the S4, but the Note 2014 is the current emulator speed leader so far for Android.
Just thought I would post this for the old school game emulator fans out there. All five of us?

I do a lot of emulating, but only for ps1 games really. All the other systems I still have and occasionally use. Gameboy color games are an exception, but for n64 and up I play them on the real deal >

the only game emulator i've been using is the VGBA emulator. havent really got into any ps1 emulators or ds ones or anything like that. been runing prettty well, but does get a little warm but not unbearable like the m7 did

The DS emulator. Drastic I think. I have the premium and it works wonders. I used it a lot on my note 2 but haven't gotten back to it mainly because I do own a DS with all the games I would want.

It's called Drastic on the playstore. xD. Full version is pricey but if you are going to use it at all it's worth it.

right on thanks! been wanting to play pokemon soul silver but havne't found a good ds emulator

EDIT: I got GBC A.D. to work just by copying the apk out of /data/app on my S4 and then moving it to my M8. Works fine. I wonder why the play store wouldn't let me have it..
I was using GBC A.D. to play all my old game boy color games but for some reason it won't work on the M8. I tried the xposed module to submit normal ppi density to the play store and that still didn't work.. I was getting so far in Crystal version too.. Wah. Anybody know an emulator that will play the same GBC rom and save file?

True, but I think you might be looking past the fact the NVidia Shield Tab is still a great device.

You can play just about anything android,, but the GPU is capable of handling more than whats typically found in the Play Store.
