25% off accessories sale at T-Mobile DOES NOT include Gear 2, Neo, and Fit

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but it's supposed to be good until 5/15/2014. Has anyone else tried it yet?

The disclaimer reads: Expires 5/15/2014. Web only. Valid on all qualifying accessories, excludes Beats™ by Dre, Smart covers, JBL and Galaxy Gear products, among other non-qualifying accessories. Cannot be combined with other offers.
I know technically the Gear 2 is not a Galaxy line of Samsung, but I bet T-Mobile meant Galaxy Gear, Gear 2, Neo, and Fit.

I just tried using the promo code for the Gear 2 and got this: Sorry—your order doesn't qualify for the following promotion: SPRING2014

Yeah,that's OK dude,no harm.
T-MOBILE closed that gaping hole last go-around w/the GALAXY GEAR.
After being bashed on canceling discounted GALAXY GEAR orders, they relented & allowed for those that managed to get a confirmed order w/the discount to keep it,but, exempted all others afterwards.
Believe me,I tried as soon as they had the GEAR2 available on-line & I'd never seen their webpage respond so quickly,w/the "N/A" for the GEAR2............
So can someone change the thread title? Cause it doesnt include Gears.

S5 Developer Edition worth?

Anyone know what the Verizon developer edition is even worth these days? Can't find any on swappa or eBay. Seems like this is the last unlocked Samsung phone that Verizon released. Before I sell mine, I just want to know what I could get for it.

I know it's a late reply but they seemed to be fetching around $250 USD when I was looking a month ago. I cannot remember the model now but on an actual developer phone under the battery the model number is different so make sure you put that full model number in the title of your listing on whatever site you use.
I just threw mine up on eBay with a best offer option since I really have no idea what it's worth. I'm gonna let it sit there until I get what I feel is a reasonable price.

Dude, we really need your device for development right now. Some devs are close to unlocking the bootloader. Use this thread to generate a dump. Then upload the files to a public place. Please! All we need is the tar file with aboot.mbn.

Makes perfect sense that while I'm trying to sell my device, I would render it worthless or decrease the value and make it equal to all the other Verizon S5 phones by unlocking their bootloaders...

Lol you guys in this thread dont get it. He doesn't owe us anything. It would however greatly benefit all of us if it were released though.

One Plus 6 friends?

Hello all,
I was just chatting with the One Plus support team and they advised me that if another One Plus owner refers me, I get a coupon allowing me to purchase the One Plus 6 at a lower price.
How does this work? Is there anybody from Canada here who could refer?
I tried to search this topic but had no relevant hits - did I miss something?
Thank you for any pointers.
Well I did a search and found this page https://www.oneplus.com/ca_en/referral
looks like you only get CA$30 off ($20usd) so that's not a lot at all.. haha
If you want a code here ya go: https://www.oneplus.com/ca_en/invite#5NIXA9IOR7RLPOQ

Thank you NateDev - much appreciated.
$30 is nice - better than I expected.
Will redeem in about 10 days (as soon as some ebay sales come in to fund the cost of my new toy )

SM-N986U Bootloader

Does anyone know how to unlock the bootloader? Or does anyone have the source to root a galaxy note 20 ultra (snapdragon)? I've seen the link saying why someone did it but it doesn't explain how they did it, or where. I understand i might have to pay but honestly it's worth it.

Currently, the only way is via that method. It's done through an unlocking method that only they're able to do. Otherwise, it would have been discussed by now

You've got to search around for it, it's not really meant to be posted or talked about since it's a paid service and XDA isn't really about paid services...

SamPWND unlocks bootloader on Snapdragon GalaxySamPWND is a paid service that (remotely) helps you unlock the bootloader on Snapdragon Galaxy devices sold in the USA and Canada. This service is provided by XDA Recognized Developer and long-time community member elliwigy. He first announced this service over at XDA in December 2020.
He is the same developer who found an exploit that led to root solutions for various Snapdragon devices including Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9/S9+, and Galaxy Note 9.
Here’s the old direct link to SamPWND’s official website: https://www.sampwnd.com/... but unfortunately the site is down.
You can contact elliwigy here though and ask.
