Hi all.
I noticed that cm11s photos are better than cm11, still if on cm11 i install the cyanogen camera that comes with our opo.
Is there any way to solve?

Hi new to rooting etc. Just purchased the A700 it was already rooted and has CM10 on.
Now when opening camera app the camera comes on, if I pan around camera follows but really laggy. It then turns to a green screen with lines and errors with unfortunately gallery has crashed etc.
Ive updated rom and tried changing camera2.apk etc but nothing is working. Can anyone help as I am totally new to this Cm?
Thanks in advance.
Camera dark and green hue after CM upgrade
Same problem here. After upgrading my Acer A700 stock to CM11 KitKat unofficial my front camera isn't crisp clear anymore. The images have a green hue and are much darker. I installed CM10.2 nightly and the result isn't any better.
I'm in doubt about what happened.
I can't confirm this on CM 10.2 nightly from early january with a A701 (uses the same camera). Did you do a wipe before installing the roms?
I have the optimus g (e970) with cm10.2 and NH Kernel. When I take a picture the flash doesn't go off at the right time and the resulting picture is dark. I also put some custom sounds for the camera and I use flash notifications apps. Has anyone ever had this and how do I fix this?
Does anybody else is experiencing issues with the default camera app after update?
Like unable to capture photos sometimes or focus issues.?
Working here perfectly with 4.4.4
Seems better than 4.4.2

Hello! I recently flashed CM 10.2.1 onto my Galaxy S3 (verizon), and overall I'm completely satisfied with the results. However, I'm no longer able to use the front-facing camera on any third-party apps (facebook, instagram, etc). When I try taking a picture with the front camera, it causes the phone to reboot itself. I've noticed that if I'm using the stock camera from CM 10.2, the front cam works perfectly fine. Yet, when I try using Instagram, Skype, or Camera Zoom FX, the phone is always forced to reboot once I try taking a picture. I was wondering if anyone has ever found a fix for this? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help shed some light on my issue!
Hi,
Not sure if it's hardware or software issue. I tested latest CM11 nightly and CM12 nightly - both the same. While recording with any 3rd party app, I noticed lost focus and zoom every 1-2 seconds.
It's really annoying. You can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9dBt11t-LA
There is exactly the same effect while recording with CameraNext with autofocus set to continous. Do you have the same effect? If I set autofocus to auto in CameraNext, there is no autofocus at all
as i can see, its trying to focus on the closest point, try an other focus mode(infinity should work i think).
when you touch the screen to focus somewhere else is it working?

Yes, but it's trying it even if there is no any closer point. Seems one of latest CM12 updates solved this effect. However, any other than continous in CameraNext causes autofocus to be not working at all, I think it should not be
did you try to install an other rom? with the 44s i dont have that kind of problem, but i had an other one with the focus, but totally different than yours(mine doesnt focus on very close objects all the times )
I tried cm11 nightly, now I'm on CM12. I like cm12 so far and I don't really want to switch back to 4.4
Ok nothing is fixed, I wonder why nobody else experienced the same... hardware problem??
