Madhi rom and ak
Which version should I get to install on madhi2.9 final cm11 or 11s

All ROMs that are based on CM11 need the CM11 kernel and that are most of them. Not all might run with the CM11 v.75, you might need the v.74 or even older. Chances that anything except CM11s 38R runs with the CM11s kernel are slim to none.

I tried flashing the 0.75 zip than UKM but after reboot wifi is broken any idea to solve this problem

reset cpu min. freq.
Why I can't set the CPU minimum frequency higher than 268MHz? Thanks

Use .74 or update to Mahdi 11/02.

Synapse No Uci support detected
I just flashed ak 75 the cm11s version over stock cm11s 38R and installed synapse. It tells me no uci support detected. What do i have to do to make it work. Also i seem to have the same touchscreen issues with fast typing and holding to fingers side by side horizontally only registers one finger. Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks. Didn't know I had to flash that as well. Synapse is working fine now.
The touch issues are still there though, even though they're suppose to be fixed in this build

Go on Synapse and change gamma from 0 to 1.
Make sure you have UKM installed for Synapse to work.

I don't have anymore touch issues. Are you on AK 75?

Perfect Kernel, thanks !
Just one question : what's the difference between AK Gold kernel (ex 072 Gold) and the other (ex 075) ?

Newer commits, the term "GOLD" was just a codename for the kernel because AK wanted to.
Big differences in the commit is that the latest is now more stable (removed overclocking functionality) and also the newest touch driver commits.

Yes. AK 75 but this is not the ghost wipe issue or at least not directly. It's another issue. Attached two screens. In the first one you see how it normally looks. If i bring touch 1 Y coordinate to the same level as touch 2 it breaks touch for one of the points only registering one touch. It only does this horizontally and when overlapping the Y axis.

You can also notice this in the paint test if you try to draw two parallel vertical lines having your fingers at the same level from each other.

Hello Guys. Running Temasek CM11 with AK75+Intelliplug+Intellithermal. Since a few days, Push-Notifications are delayed. Logcat says stuff like this:
Code:
D/PowerManagerService( 1559): acquireWakeLock: ignoring request from com.google.android.gms
Dunno if it's kernel related, but wasn't a Problem in the past. Any Ideas?

Hello, I got bliss stalk rom, i don't understand what files do I need to install, thank you

I don't believe it is due to a setting, but try clearing your Synapse data and see if it still doesn't work. If it doesn't then you have something wrong with your ROM.

Install like this:
1) Install AK in TWRP
2) Install UKM in TWRP (also provided on the site)
3) Reboot.
4) Download Synapse from the Play Store.
5) Open Synapse and see AK's UKM properties.

[KERNEL][GPL][N72013][FLO/DEB][S2W/DT2W] franco.Kernel-3z - r3

This kernel is just a personal work made public due to some user requests, it's simple and only contains latest franco.Kernel nightlies for Nexus 7 2013 (FLO/DEB).
I enabled Sweep2Wake and DoubleTap2Wake to franco.Kernel, it has a config file for you to change what features you want enabled, by default all is enabled. The config file will be auto-generated the first time you boot the kernel, and will not touch it after it has been created to keep your changes.
Config file is under: /sdcard/touchconfig/config.cfg
Init.d script that runs the config: /etc/init.d/99touchconfig
What you can configure is:
Sweep2Wake (ON/OnlySwipeToSleep/OFF)
DoubleTap2Wake (ON/OFF)
ShortSweep (ON/OFF)
If you want to do any changes to the config file you have 2 options, reboot to take effect, or run the init.d script for on-the-fly changes.
(You can use Universal Init.d app to run init.d scripts very easy)
How to flash the Kernel:
fastboot flash boot image_name
or
flash the zip in the recovery
Boot.img Download link: http://d-h.st/Nvz
ZIP package Download Link: http://d-h.st/xPk
As I could not have said it better, I will copy&paste franco FAQ.
F.A.Q. - Read this before complaining!
1. My phone exploded, HALP!
A: I don't answer to problems without a log. The log file is in /proc/last_kmsg. Paste it on pastie.org and link it on your post. Logcats are useless for Kernel purposes, don't bother posting them.
2. This kernel works on Y or X rom?
A: This is one of the worse questions you can ask on my threads. This is a Nexus, it works on every rom you can possibly imagine.
3. OMG BETTARY SUCKZ, IT DEAD IN 45 MINUTAS, HALP!
A: As you can imagine I don't build kernels to decrease battery life. All the battery life problems come from your apps, either Facebook, or Maps, or some Location Service being enabled etc etc. Check your damn wakelocks and fix them, the kernel is not responsible for them.
4. How do I flash this?
A: Reading the OP, theres a reason why I added instructions on it.
5. What is a data loss? Did I just had one?
A: Data loss is simply having the connection cut for X periods of time, usually few seconds. Grey bars means the device is not connected to Google services for some weird reason, but you'll still have internet connection.
6. OP is arrogant, I'm gonna call the Internet Police?
A: Deal with it.
7. Touch Control doesn't work in rXXX release, you suckas, fix plixe!
A: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a fix, I can tell you I don't have the solution. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you leave now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I ignore you.
8. My Wi-Fi is borked, doesn't turn on, haz gray bars, drains battary and killed my parrot. Fix plz."
A: This Kernel has stock Wi-Fi drivers, same as stock Kernel. The problem is YOU and YOU alone. Probably installed some wtf Kernel with some wtf Wi-Fi drivers. News flash, fix your derp and stop spamming this thread with nonsense. By the way, gray bars only means you're not connected to Google servers, but your Wi-Fi works just fine.
This work wouldn't have been possible without:
@franciscofranco for his kernel
@flar2 sweep2wake/doubltap2wake function

He didn't release anything yet to the Nexus 7 2013 and the version for the Nexus 4 is quite different of what I want, I got access to his Nexus 7 2013 double tap to wake kernel, but I can't comment on it since it's not public.
Thanks for your version.

I've measured the amount of battery life used by this function and it's between 40 and 47 mV drain, that means 60 hours of battery life with the device into deep sleep, sounds good to me
Really liking the kernel so far and the sweep features! have you implemented it where when the screen times out you can use the sweep functions however if you press the power button sweep functions are disabled?
Good job again on the kernel !

working perfectly on multirom!! you only must install as primary ROM and then SWAG the rom to secondary!!!
I can`t post link already, but if you come to the oneplus forum in the threat "roms y desarrollo" you can find the links.
I've two minor issues in last build (2014-11-17)
The issues:
- Automatic time zone update is always set to +1 GMT every time.
- "CLOSE ALL RECENTE" also close the system UI, restarting it.
The battery percentage is not displayed.
work with AK kernell??
this pre-alfa can work with AK kernell??? or need it's own kernell

Hi, I have the one plus one, and I unlocked the bootloader, flashed the TWRP recovery, and then installed supersu. Everything work as it should. I wanted to try this ROM. So I did the factory reset in TWRP, flashed this ROM, and GAPPS. Rebooted and everything works, but I downloaded a Root checker and it said I was not rooted. I tried to install SuperSU from the play store, but it failed. How do I get root access at this point? Thanks in advance!!!

SMS Broken af
Hello, all. I flashed this file this morning, booted up, and sms was not working. I did not make a backup because I assumed a small update would cause no problems (Ik better now for the future). I tinkered with it for a little while then decided I'd try and reset my phone and backup my messages. Unfortunately, my sms backup app didnt work. Neither did titanium! So, I booted into recovery and made a backup of just my data. I reset my phone and booted back up. All my stuff was gone but sms worked. So, I decided to try and restore my data backup. Afterwards, I booted back up and all my stuff was there, but again, sms no longer worked. Can anyone help me with this, please!?!? I suppose I could start from scratch with my sms backup from two months ago but I really would hate to have to set up my phone all over again and lose 2 months of texts. Any help is massively appreciated!

I forgot the rom name but there's a kitkat rom with no screen flickering issue by niropa (on lollipo bootloader). u can contact with niropa to solve screen flickering issue.
Yes,was in a wrong place, i have contacted a moderator, now is in android development.
Ok , i think cm11 its the most stable tree from cm team , i like KK because its more ligth weigth , i dont know why the developers wonma make roms unstable and buggies hehe , can u add a custom features? Like another toolchain? (Linaro , Uber) or new features from kernel? Like more i/o (zen ) , gpu OC or cpu OC?...

unfortunately I am only at the beginning, I'm learning slowly how to create rom from source code, for the moment I do not know to create kernels with overcloclock or similar. I'm only 15 years old, and this is the second ROM in total which I compile

this rom works with all bootloader, kitkat and lollipop, but with the lollipop one you will get screen flickering. If anyone knows how I can do a build with no screen flickering can contact me in pm.

See PACMan builds with overkill kernel by niropa. Just search in that thread and you'll find many ROMs like CarbonKK or PA, which are made to work on LP bootloader
Will this work on msim variant also? I read you mentioned xt1032 but still if you know..
It might work, but has been tested only on xt1032 aka falcon.
tested on XT1033, very stable ROM, smooth ROM ever :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Stock cm11 kernel or something else is there? I can see "overkill kernel" that reminds me really good things

Yes, I have used Overkill kernel that @Niropa has used in his Pac-man rom build, with the hope of fix the screen flickering, but the problem remain. This is aniway a good and stable kernel. For more information see: https://github.com/ReaperXL2/Overkill_V4_extended/tree/cm-11.0

But are kernel sources updated? Or using it cause some incompatility such as hotspot, bt or something else?
All work fine, bluetooth and hotspot work. I have tested it, the only warnings are 3:
-Do not active kernel samepage merging, you will have problem in camera
-install gapps only after the first reboot of the rom
-If you use whatsapp install it before switching to ART (in developer setting, for better performance select ART)
There aren't particular bugs

Because if you install the rom and after the gapps and you reboot, the setup wizard crash. I have tryed it

This is a small video demonstration of the rom, 60 second.
