[Q] 3d Space Tracking - Other Tools & General Discussion

I am looking for some input where I can move my phone along a 3d surface (2 way curved surface) which can be displayed on the screen. In some ways it is similar to the google photo sphere where you start by one point and move the phone to match the other points. The surface I am talking about has certain points which I want to be highlighted when the phone is approximately on that location. It would require the user to first calibrate the phone based on a flat surface, and the points in space will be calculated in reference to that location.
Any help would be appreciated

Does an app like this exist? Speed, GS's, Time, on a Map?

Are there any apps that record your path on a map, speed, time, G's, lean angle, etc... as you drive?
I ride a motorcycle and always have my phone in my front pocket. Would be cool to have it data log.
Before I get accused of being a hooligan, there are other uses. Such as reviewing various parts. For instance, I just changed to a new set of tires which handle drastically different than my old ones. I know my comfortable speeds through various corners have changed. Would be awesome if I had hard numbers for that. "Hey guy's I'm thinking about buying X tires".. "Don't do it, I had to slow down 5-10mph through most corners to feel comfortable and safe with them as opposed to Y tires". Or, "I lowered the front and rear PSI by 5 and seem to have just naturally picked up 2mph everywhere and the bike just feels better!".
there are lots of apps that logs your path on the map, speed and time
but not many records G force, or angle
there's one that i use for Pedal BIKE and it sort of does what you want, but not exactly
look up for BIKE Companion in Android Market https://market.android.com/details?id=de.agsteiner.tools.bikecompanion&hl=en
one of the graphs checks how much bumps your G sensor registers, there are other sensors as well, maybe you can use that to substitute the missing stats you want

[Q] Autocomplete forms with picture?

I've been looking for an app or a way to complete a form using a picture of it. We have dry erase boards set up at work which employees fill out during production and at the end of the day we transfer the data to an excel file. I'm one of the, youngest, only tech gurus around work and I usually take a picture of each board then sit at my desk and complete the forms rather than stand at each one and hold the work laptop. Anyhow, we have a galaxy note 10.1 (wifi), iPad and several other devices. I prefer the Note! I'd like to create the board in an app then take a picture of said board which will then complete my form by transferring the numbers. I'm sure some of you may have seen the Words With Friends aspect of this...screen shot your current game board then the 'cheat' app loads it and gives you all the available words you can play. I want the same thing basically, if possible?
Any suggestions?
If I understand you correctly it sounds like you could take a picture of the board and use it as a background in SNote then just place your text in the proper places. Problem you can not (as yet) save the picture as a template so you need to add the pic for each new note.

[Q] my revenue from app development = ALMOST NOTHING?!!

Hi,
I've built an app (iMeasureDist) for measuring dimensions of objects with very simple method by just pointing to the base of this object (for example the feet of another person), and simply measure the height by moving from this base to the top .. it also enables measuring the dimensions by moving the phone along the edge you want to measure its length. it also supports measuring large objects like the height of the next building by adding your floor offset into calculations .. it detects the height at which you are holding the phone (absent feature in similar apps).. it gives the user a tool to contain the remote object inside a rectangle and gives the dimensions of this object (e.g. the height of the pyramid and the width of th its base) .. it gives the ability to measure large dimensions also through GPS..I made a free lite version at Google Play and the Full paid version at Amazon..
I put a lot of effort in this app and i got good reviews .. i was full of hope in making a success but the result is almost the opposite .. the app download/sales are almost nothing with average 0.2$ per day for ad-based free version and only 1 download of the paid version on Amazon (till now).. I'm trying to advertise through social media and other ad services but the response of the market is almost dead! i don't know what to do to raise app sales?!
Thanks,

[APP][2.2+] Two Point Height

There are many apps to measure the heights of objects by pointing the camera to the top and bottom of an object. But the one I first tried required one to first point to the bottom of the object and then the top, which is sometimes impossible. (I wanted to measure how high a stomp rocket goes. So first I would need to register the maximum height point and then where the rocket lands.) Moreover, eventually I wanted to have the option to sight objects along the side of the phone rather than with the camera (very hard to catch a small rocket in the sky in the field of view of the camera). Plus, open source is always good.
So I made Two Point Height. Source code is here.
I finally updated the code to work with Android Studio. It now requires Android 3.0, but should work better with newer devices, plus is a bit more user friendly.
I've updated the code to be more user friendly and allow the front camera to be used.

Memory Training

App to improve memory, attention and speed reading
The app includes 5 mini-games:
Remember this (4 rows)
The playing field has 4 rows; each row contains 10 dots. At the beginning you have 10 seconds to see the figure which provides you one variant of these dots linking. After that you need to connect dots as well as shown in the figure.
Remember this (5 rows)
Plus one additional row
Schulte table
One of the most effective exercises for developing attention, concentration and speed of visual search. Also this exercise is the most popular method to increase your speed of reading. The essence of Schulte table is consistent finding of all numbers in the table. Regular exercises with Schulte tables help you to expand your peripheral vision. Wide field of view reduces the time for information searching in text.
Schulte-Gorbov table
One of the most popular tests to analyze the speed of attention switching. Psychologists use it for assessment suitability of professions which require high concentration and quick reactions, such as air traffic controllers, train drivers. Red-black Schulte-Gorbov table is a modified version of the single-color Schulte table. You are invited to indicate black numbers in ascending order and red numbers in descending order. The number from each color group, you need specify in turn - first 1 black, then 24 red, 2 black -> red 23 -> 3 black -> red 22 etc
«Memory matrix» game
In this game you need to remember the location of the shaded cells and then reproduce them using your memory. One game required you to play with 30 different variants of placements. The playing field and the number of shaded cells will increase every 5 cards.

I like memory games, they are challenging and they bring some kind of satisfaction.
Btw, why isn't the link to your app clickable? I mean it's not a problem for me to copy it in the browser, but it would be much easier if I could just click on it.
