howdy,
My OLLEH 3G service sim works in the iPhone 6 , unlocked HTC M8, and unlocked Galaxy S5,
Nexus 5, etc
but does not get a signal on the Xperia Z3 D6653, even after messing with selecting carriers, etc.
Supposedly the D6653 is ok on 2100 band....
Any help would be appreciated x 10000
I suppose I could go down to the Sony store, but Sony sells the D6653"KR" and isn't that the same model?

Was trying to track down which model of the Z3 I should buy in order to get LTE access on ATT. I have seen some people say to get the 6603 but I was reading a thread that it wasn't working on ATT. Anyone using this phone on ATT and know exactly which model to get in order to use LTE?
The D6603 and D6633 (Dual) both support all of the needed bands for AT&T support. I use a D6633 and have no issues whatsoever on AT&T.
I also use D6633 and get LTE on ATT
D6603 and D6633 will support AT&T LTE. Whatever you do, do not give AT&T your updated IMEI or their system will register it as "unknown" device and you will get 3G only.
I'm using the D6603 on AT&T with no problems (getting LTE just fine).
Hi guys,
My Z3 D6616 Tmobile signal is weak when I travel to Asia country and use the local SIM here. I use the same sim in the HTC One M7 Sprint that was unlocked to use global SIM and the signal is very good but when I put that sim in my Z3 D6616 and the signal is not stable and poor. I tried some other sims but it was the same.
Is there anyone meet this issue ?
What should I do to install or do something with it because I also love my Z3 ?
Thank you very much !
Anyone have a z3 (not a z3v) on Verizon's network? I'm looking to buy an unlocked version but I'm hearing of all the verizon stipulations of phones you can put on their network...ex nexus 5 can work on verizon but won't
I keep seeing the Z5 Compact on Ebay Deals for <$500 and have been wanting a sony Android phone since i saw the Z3 Compact (currently using the Motorola Moto Maxx XT1225)
i was just wondering if anyone has tried it out on the T-Mobile (US) network and how the performance was (i know its missing one of the HSPA+ radios)
Hi everyone,
I just got my Xperia Z5 Compact from my dad, but the problem is that I can not get 4G signal with Rogers Canada. My Z5 Compact was bought from the US
I asked support from Rogers and they said since Rogers does not carry the Xperia Z5 Compact, and my sim is working properly with other phones, they cannot offer me help.
My phone current settings:
- Preferred network type: LTE (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM
- Rogers LTE - Itemobile.apn
Can someone help me? Thank you!

Check if the bands and frequencies of your carrier match the bands and frequencies supported by the device. There is more to it than just it being 4G LTE. If bands and frequencies don't match, it won't work.
Also, your radio/modem may not be compatible. Some devices that move to a different network have to flash a modem to work on the other network. That doesn't mean that a compatible modem is available for your device though. Some devices switching networks have to live without 4G because the device hardware just doesn't support what the network has regardless of what software you apply.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE
A USA purchased X5 Compact has all the LTE bands that Rogers uses. As long as the APN settings are correct (and I'd assume that these settings come from the SIM card), the phone should work. Does it work otherwise, just not with 4G?
