Hi, i have a mega i527 4.2 jelly bean with straight talk using att towers. I am trying to enable tethering. I know i know i can get caught and have my service shut off etc..
So i rooted my phone i have downloaded sqlite i went into settings.db> global> tether_dun_required and changed the value to 1 and then back to zero ( I saw forums for different models doing this) but when i try to turn on hot spot it still says there is a temporary problem with my network please try again later. If anyone has any advice on that it would be GREAT, but my question is whether anyone knows of a CUSTOM ROM that is compatible with MEGA 6.3 I527 ( maybe even a different mega 6.3 at the very least?) . If anyone has any advice on how to get tethering to work without a custom rom im all ears, but i have downloaded many apps. This att phone will not let me delete its apn settings either. Not sure if theres a setting in my straight talk apn that would enable tethering.. seems too simple lol.
so anyway, anyone know of a custom rom for this phone model?

my phone got a bit slow one day so i reset it and now all image based apps don't load some say cache dir not found/created. when i try to download something through a third part app it says download error. I'm on the att ota update for 4.4. ive tried resetting the phone multiple times but it doesn't help. so i rooted and i'm on a custom rom with everything working fine but roms are buggy. can you please tell me how to fix this problem so i can go back to stock frimware. tks

Hello guys how are you? Can anybody provide me with the direct link to the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 stock Rom. I flashed a custom one but mobile data doesn't work and the developer is not responding either for past couple of weeks so i need to go back to the stock Rom. As for region i have KSA.

Unfortunately I was unable to find anything out here for stock firmware. However you do have a couple options.
You can register and ask your question here and someone may be able to provide you it. Alternatively you can google search for the firmware. I am positive you will find it on a popular firmware page for samsung devices

Hello. I am in need of deleting an OS/ROM I installed on my device. I was trying to fix my Samsung Galaxy S3, and installed a ROM with a really crappy kernel, so now it doesn't work in any useful manner. Since I don't have an SD card, and can't install a new kernel, I was wondering how I could delete the OS, so it is soft bricked in order for me to re-install a better OS/ROM? I have what I believe is a better ROM, but I can't override the one I have installed with Odin, as it says FAIL!. Please help me, I am desperate to fix this phone, and I need to completely restore it to original STOCK functionality, so I can use it again. If you can help me reset the phone, and get it up and running again, that would be amazing. If you can please walk me through resetting it, installing a new ROM, and Kernel if possible, I will give you my soul ( or a Thanks!).

Hello I need some guidance repairing my phone right now I have no
way to record video from my camera and also it will not play back video
its not just about Youtube it seems my system is corrupt and there is
a reason for it I also lost the playstore.
My phone was rooted with Framaroot been good for a while now no issues
I installed fonts from the playstore I chose a font to use, it rebooted as
soon as I did and was stuck on the Samsung boot screen what I now know is
a bootloop, so I decided to try to fix it be installing ClockworkMod and

I am rooted have SuperSu installed made a backup from following the guide in the
link above i took a chance
it worked my device boots now but not having video or Playstore is the pits, what can I do to fix?
I would like to have my original system back Im assumming the backup I made with cwm is also going to have the bootloop again if you need more information just ask I really dont know what direction to go at this point.
Also I was running Gingerbread 2.3.6 the Rom I installed is 2.3.5

Ok so custom roms seem to not wanna work on my phone. When i download roms that require gapps, gapps stops working all apps i cant even get in the phone it over runs me, then when i try to download a rom that doesnt require gapps it just restarts because of a set bit kernel warranty or or something so is it possible that custom roms don't work for my phone.
