Is there any app that can compete with Samsung Galaxy Notes or LG G3 as far as writing on the screen? I will pay for it, I just came from a Note 3 then an LG G3 and I miss it already.

Anyway, today i was in my local carphone warehouse and saw these two pictures in a display advert... Clearly shows a few specs of the LG nexus, pictures and price and colour options... Thoughts?
Great find!

Looking good so far...
That vast space on the bottom seems very unappealing...
Unless of course, the on-screen buttons just make it seem so.
Awesome find, op. I am excited the nexus 4 is one of the top contender since it s inception initially then went M.I.A.

Looks nice...wait for more pic
I think it looks a bit so so :L it just doesn't look that appealing to me. I will probs still get it though I have a feeling the 389 will be the 16gb editon and the 8gb willonly be available through Google play.

Hopefully they have them in stock on the tuesday, will pick one up
Were these signs out on display in the main store? Should have asked whether you could buy one today (knowing carphone warehouse some idiot probably would have sold you one)
Phone is looking pretty good, but a little... boring? I'm in doubt about the quality. Imo LG phones nowadays are pretty nice, but the quality is not so good. Too bad.

Lg has never impressed me with any android device. Maybe this will be a big step forward for them. The pic's look very similar to the samsung nexus. suppose to have a quad core on lte that would be nice.

I want to update to nexus but worry about build quality and more over regular firmware update.

I recommend you to just wait till the phone is in stores available, so you can go there and feel the phone in your hands. For you, your opinion is the most important (compared to others).
Because it's a Nexus phone, all the updates will be served by Google, instead of LG. That's the reason of most people who buy a Nexus phone: the update support.
So, If i bought one of the $50 generic watch phone things off Amazon/eBay could i possibly use it like a SmartWatch or Pebble....i.e. use it to control my music player on my phone...get phone and text alerts from my phone etc.
I have been looking for answers to this, but since it is such a long question it's kind of hard to figure out...
Bump!
Anyone?
Just remember you get what you pay for.
Just look up the reviews and make a educated purchase.
Samsung is rumored to have a watch coming out to complement the Galaxy 4.

I dont love the look of the note 3...granted easy enough to change the back cover...will have to have it in my hand to say for sure but odds are ill pick it up.
Also curious to see what the nexus 5 will bring.

Right now; my wife & I both want a Note 3
I am extremely intrigued by the recent Nexus 5 rumors. A 5" display in a phone smaller than the Nexus 4? I would love that. 2300mah battery is a bummer though...
Nexus 5
S-PEN for SGS4
Is there something like the S-PEN for Galaxy S4?

I thought the s4 was getting close to the limit of screen/bezel ratio but I guess not. Very intrigued indeed.

Right?? If it comes with at least 32gb of storage and costs $300-$350, I'll almost certainly be getting one.
I would get the LG G2

Won't do the i337 any good.
Would probably have a nexus 5 as my back up, S4 will remain my main phone.

Lol.
The G2 is very nice... but I'm curious to see what comes out between now and March of 2014... For now I'll wait.
I just broke my S3 and am getting a replacement with my protection plan.
I have the choice of Note 2 or S4 ....
what do you think? advice other than screen size please

Well 2 different purposes IMO, but I'll give it a try......
S4 is 1080 p - Note 2 is 720 p
No S-pen obviously for the S4, but with the AIR gestures, you still can hover with your finger to preview things and it has eye detector features such as Smart Stay/Pause/Scroll which I believe are not on Note 2.
Battery life is better on the Note 2, as it has a bigger battery than the S4
That's as far as I know about those 2 beasts
Edit : I just remembered this video ... that Tony Stark guy made a good comparison :

Check this write-up out: can't post links yet but google "Top Reasons To Buy The LG G2 Over The Nexus 5"
$349 off contract is pretty tempting for the Nexus 5. I personally like the larger screen on the G2 and use the IR blaster. Also, being a VZW customer means no Nexus 5 for me (any time soon).
So I have the G2 and I have a buddy of mine offering to trade it for a 32GB N5. While I know that its basically the same phone I am more encouraged to simply because I feel that the N5 is more future proof.
Am I wrong for this ? Or should I keep it.

You should change the title to "Might Trade for the Nexus 5".
And to answer your question, yes the Nexus 5 should be more future proof than the G2.

I have changed the title I have offers for both white and black versions I've been reading on some new N5 hardware is there anything I should be looking for when choosing between old and new hardware?

The hardware changes include: larger speaker grills and sturdier buttons. Get the version with the newest hardware. You can tell if it's the newer version if the phone's first three serial numbers are above 311 (312, etc).
There's also another way by looking at the HW Version in the fastboot mode. REV_12 or higher should all have the latest hardware revisions.
Fyi, the G2's base cost (~$669.00 unlocked on ebay) is much greater than the Nexus' base cost ($400 unlocked off the play store). Keep that in mind before trading.
The G2 has a better camera and battery.
I almost got one but found a good deal on a Nexus 5.

I personally would go with the Nexus 5 because of official software updates and the day development community that continues to grow!
If you don't care much about development and timely/official updates from google then I'd say stick with the G2.

I would trade the G2 for nexus 5 and sell the g2 and rebuy nexus 5 and you would probably make a profit
