There are plenty of shopping list apps out there, but most of them suck.
And the ones I found that was reasonably good, have way too many intrusive permissions.
So I decided to do it myself instead...
The app has no ads, and requires no permissions to run.
Here are the feature highlights :
* Drag and drop items to re-arrange the list.
* Checked items can be striked through, dimmed, or deleted automatically.
* Choose the size of the text in the lists.
* You can create as many lists as you want.
* Duplicating lists lets you create templates. With this you can start creating you grocery list with all your standard items already filled in.

I hope this can useful to some, and I hope you can help me fix the bugs
I presume this is for Gingerbread and lower versions, cause ICS does seem to support folders ... it actually syncs them directly from the gmail account.
I only wish ICS would allow a view other than icon views.
Was looking for this kind of software about 3 months back. Too late, I've now moved on to ICS.
Thanks anyway
Thanks Paparasee. I haven't looked at this new ICS feature.
My app does work on ICS. I just added the comment about folders as some users have asked that my app organise bookmarks into folders (which as you've said doesn't work).
Just about to upload a bug fix version. This is really for me to learn the android system before I move onto some other app idea. Hopefully I'm not 3 months behind on those too...

Perpetuum Software is glad to announce a new version of the professional Android database app – MobiDB Database Designer with a new long awaited Dependent drop down lists feature that will significantly improve user experience and will reduce time for adding new entries.
All multi table databases are relational; it’s very convenient to be able to select a value from the related table (in a dropdown list) and not to duplicate it probably several times across the entire database. The problem with really complex and big databases is that such dropdown lists got from the related table can be really huge and searching for the necessary value may become quite intricate. So, we decided to improve user experience in this matter and added the ability to create dependent drop-down lists.
Now users can set category – subcategory relation and show only those subcategory values that are included in the selected category. For example, Genre > Author > Book.
Ability to add dependent drop-down lists together with a set of other powerful functions such as synchronization via Dropbox, importing/exporting to CSV and PDF, sorting, filtering and search in the table view, nested tables, printing via Google cloud print and many more, make MobiDB Database Designer really comprehensive and suitable for the creation of really complex databases on the Android devices.
Make your databases even more handy and powerful with MobiDB Database Designer!
