Once in a while I notice when I have 3 bars showing tmobile LTE on the phone, I can't connect to their network at all. Can't browse anything but it shows I have LTE signals.
I can barely send a text message, but sending a pic through the text won't work. Google play not connecting. Just like dead spot. Does anyone know how to fix this?
It doesn't happen all the time, but certain places I go it will not work. Tonight one example is Disneyland. 3 bars but no connection
I will soon sell my oneplus one and get rid of this problem.

I've had my tilt for a few weeks now and not yet have I seen the 3G or H icon pop up on my screen. Instead I'm always connected to the Edge network. I've tried installing a different radio to it, but all that did was make my phone load up to the point where its should get to the windows mobile screen then the screen would go black. I've used kaiser tweaks to enable hsdpa but still no luck. The only time i've seen the 3G icon is when i don't have a good signal and it'll show 3G for like to seconds and then it'll show I have no service. Then come back as Edge. Does anybody have a suggestion for me?
You don't mention or list where you live. Are you sure you're in a 3G area?
Look this and send your Kayser to warranty service, your 3g is broken:

good luck.

did you go into the comm manager and make sure that the 3g was turned on?
Unrooted 4.4.2. I switch to wifi when I get home. The past week I haven't been getting texts or calls when on wifi. No problems on LTE. I'm on Tmobile. I haven't installed any new apps in that time frame. I just got the 4.4.2 update last night, didn't fix the problem.
do you even get cell signal in your house?

Yes I get a good 3 to 4 bars always at home. No problem with the signal. Just problem with text and calls coming through over WiFi. All other push programs like gmail and exchange come through no problem over WiFi.
I'm having this issue, too. Driving me crazy.
I have Comcast internet. Could something have changed there? I haven't done any fireware updates on the router. I did just remember I had to restart the router because it went down. Maybe I need to disconnect and delete all WiFi settings and reconnect?
Google says this is a common problem but can't find anything on here. I'm on Sprint, btw.
So for the past week, I've been experiencing this oddball issue with LTE connectivity on my Nexus 5 on AT&T. For some reason, my data connection isn't immediate, but delay of sorts. IE when I do a google search or open up a website on chrome, there's about a 10 seconds delay after you start the search or entering in the url before you get your results/webpage. I don't think its due to a slow connection because this occurs when I have full bars for signal strength. Normally search or chrome is immediate when the LTE wasn't acting up or on wi-fi. Plus once it connects, its full speed as normal. It's as if the phone is waiting for something, times out after 10 seconds or so, than starts pulling in the data from the network. Also, the LTE signal never drops. According to the status bar, the LTE and network connection is always there the entire time.
Has this happen to anyone else? Let me know if any clarification is needed? It's a little confusing and I'm not sure what's actually going on. Not sure if its the phone or the network?
Exact same problem here

Hey there,
I have a nexus 5 for about an month now. Just got the OTA to 4.4.3.
Everything seemed to be working perfect. But now i have a mobile network problem.
I can connect to 3G network. It says i'm connected but when i try to load a webpage for ex. google.com.
Nothing happens. It trys to load it but after 1 minute it says no internet connection. I can even send whatsapp messages when connected to 3G.
This all changes when i change to 2G everything works then but is really slow, but thats normal with 2G.
I cant try to connect to 4G because it is not available in my region.
Could someone please help me?
EDIT: There was a problem with the celluar tower nearby. I got it fixed now!
N920VVRU3CQL4 Samsung Note 5
Hi i have Samsung note 5 N920VVRU3CQL4 verizon changed to straittalk they said my phone compatible. Since I changed I have very slow if any internet the wifi icon as 1 dot and a ! Next to it . If I send a text message it goes to "pending status " i figured out the only way to get text sent us to dial any phone number! Then text is sent. I cant be on the phone and the internet at the same time (i could at verizon) also sometimes when sending text ..i get a message that says "No mobile network" .. My APN is greyed out. I think trying your APN is a good idea what do you think ? I should not have to dial my phone to any random phone number for the messages to get sent. I also read where the upgrade for the nougat has all these errors and that's why this is happening. But when I was on Verizon I didn't have all this problem I just used a ton of data and I can't afford Verizon and the update was either in January or December so I think it might be straight talk who doesn't know how to set up my phone on there Network. Thank you in advance any help would be greatly appreciated ? P.S I am not a tech savvy person but I know something is mot right I don't know if this matters but I had an update on 1/7/18 N920VVRU3CQL4(was still at verizon)
and on 12/13/17 it says updated N920VVR53CQK1 is that right why are they two different numbers?
Turn your wifi/advanced calling off if it is on. Turn your wifi off. Restart your phone and try sending a text right away. If it works, that means your wifi calling was misconfigured. Reconnect to wifi. If you still get the exclamation point that means there's an issue with your wifi. One dot means you don't have good signal, so move closer to the access point. If it doesn't improve, there's something wrong with your access point or your phone's wifi antenna. You won't be able to use wifi/advanced calling since the settings are looking for Verizon and not Straight Talk. If you want to use wifi/advanced calling you'd need a carrier-agnostic phone with stock android that supports Verizon.
