Differences are slight for some things (like settings menu) and more pronounced in others (widget text and browser are very noticeable). Here is the settings menu comparison

Ok I know this might be a really stupid question. But if I rename the zip file to update.zip can I flash this via the stock recovery or do I have to use Clockwork Mod Recovery?
I am currently completely stock and still S-on, I am really waiting on a working and usable ICS ROM before I S-off and flash Clockwork Mod Recovery or maybe another custom recovery image, I will make that decision when that time comes. Plus I do have a warranty still and I am trying to hold out as long as I can before voiding it.
Edit: Never mind I forgot about the security issue. You now CID checks and such as that. So I am going to say I can not do this, darn it

Sense 4.0 ish on Virtuous 2.3.5 Rom

Hi, as you can see by the screen shots I have been busy trying to make Sense 3.5 on 2.3.5 Virtuous Rom, look a little like Sense 4. I am quite pleased with it so far and really like the keyboard, could do without the green on the Dialer too, but hey the worlds not perfect.
My question is does anyone have any idea how I can change the launcher to be more like 4.0, I don't want ot use Launcher Pro as this will mean I can't use the widgets I like.
Any suggestions would be very welcome

Hey,
I think you are getting slightly confused!
Sense 3.6 is virtually the same as 3.5, I think you are after Sense 4.0, you might wanna edit your title!
Also, there's a cool sense 4.0 htc skin you can get from the sensation XL theme and apps forum.

I'm confused now, I thought Sense 3.6 only worked on ICS, I'm using 2.3.5 as I need the camera.

It is base on WWE INTERNATIONAL BASE. I've test it on International, but should also go on all Carriers but i'dont test it.
FOR NOW USE IT ON INTERNATIONAL VERSION.

Tomorrow i can add sprint support And Others carrierd, FOR NOW USE WITH INTERNATIONAL DEVICE.

what I have done is porting it to stock based sense roms like maximus,arhd,etc

I didn't test it on arhd but it should work however I am waiting for the feedback ?

Works fine on ARHD. Just one feedback. During a call the speakerphine button is white hence a little difficult to see as its white on white.
Other than that all is fine.

well I dont mind but there is a problem for me that I am not on lollipop so I will need a tester if you dont mind being a tester try the apk attached after backing up your hccontactsdialer.apk dont forget permissions rw-/r--/r-- it is the contacts dilaer no phone apk yest and let me know if it works also we will move the communication to pm if you dont mind ofcourse

does the dark mode system settings work on the launcher too?

It didn't work on any ROM I tried with stock OOS and with skydragon and AOSP ROMS IT DIDNT WORK AT ALL
