Hi, as you can see by the screen shots I have been busy trying to make Sense 3.5 on 2.3.5 Virtuous Rom, look a little like Sense 4. I am quite pleased with it so far and really like the keyboard, could do without the green on the Dialer too, but hey the worlds not perfect.
My question is does anyone have any idea how I can change the launcher to be more like 4.0, I don't want ot use Launcher Pro as this will mean I can't use the widgets I like.
Any suggestions would be very welcome

Hey,
I think you are getting slightly confused!
Sense 3.6 is virtually the same as 3.5, I think you are after Sense 4.0, you might wanna edit your title!
Also, there's a cool sense 4.0 htc skin you can get from the sensation XL theme and apps forum.

I'm confused now, I thought Sense 3.6 only worked on ICS, I'm using 2.3.5 as I need the camera.

Hello
First Sense 3.0 Themer proudly presenting new theme called AmazingSense. Why? You will find out in a moment. It will bring your Sense 3.0 device on whole new level (Screenshots as always in second post).
Theme is working only on old ROM's based on Pyramid first RUU's. Dont try it on official Sense 3.0 for Desire S, Desire HD etc. Installing on you'r own risk. Only way to remove it is by Titanium backup (root). I will make this theme for new Sense (3.5, 3.6, 4.0) as soon as its possible and you will be able to read about it on xda portal. Dont ask for ETA's.
I want thanks to Diamondback and Flemmard for such a great tool - m10tools.

If you want to use it in your ROM ask me about it! If you want to use it as base or change 2 things and release as your own don't even try! (Some guys took my previous theme as base without my permission and its enough)

This should work on any 4.67 based Sense 1.0 Rom. I just tried this on TommyT's Classic Rom and surprisingly it works on odex rom. Anyway I wanted to point out that this is not an exact replica of the Sense 4 clock so you wont see the grey bar below the clock. What I wanted was the clean style of Gomorrah's clock combined with the aesthetics of Sense 4. Although I'm sure someone will want the grey bar at the bottom so maybe expect different style clocks from me

alter rom is a senseless rom. You need the sense launcher to even apply the widget

You can't use it unless your running the sense launcher. Since alter ROM is a sense less rom it doesn't have a sense launcher. It uses 3rd party launchers like go launcher,adw launcher ect

These skins are resized for sense4 deferas rom... not sense 3.5... It probably evn work on sense 3.5
the there is some problem with the bar at the bottom in music lover theme its texture is all messed up try to port it again thankx alot !!!!

So I was on Nocturnal MergeX,and I decided to flash the HTC_IME out of newtroot ported sense 4.5 ics rom.
well I did and the keyboard works but cashes and the setting and faces don't work.
Maybe a dev that knows more about porting can take a look into this.

now I changed some code in the AndroidManifest to match the sense 4.1 keyboard,but I don't know if that did anything.
Well anyways would be really cool if one of you guys could get this to work on sense 4.1

From my experiences. Sense apps do not like to work on AOSP roms.

If it was sense based but a senseless ROM it may cause issues
I know with recent sense versions that system apps aren't as easily interchangeable with previous sense versions

Just to be clear on which rom I was on at the time I did this. It was Nocturnal MergeX.
Which is a sense base rom with a few aosp apps.

I ain't to sure if this will work on here,but I've been trying for weeks lol,everything works except it fc's when u use the keyboard in landscape/horizontal mode,maybe someone might no of a fix,here's 2 screenshots as I type this and a link to my keyboard,I have 2,a coloured & stock look version,also if any1 knows the exact files needed for htc_ime such as lib/bin/jar if any,then I could fix it no problem

Not aosp...sense based, mostly removed. Allows HTC apps to still be used. It's definitely worth checking out. By far my favorite Rom on the m7 and soon to be looks like on my m8.

i install nova launcher and go through and delete everything ican within reason that deals with htc sense ... the only htc sense app i like is the camera..it always does better than the google camera for me. this will be a must try rom
