[Q] Cannot do this one thing - General Questions and Answers

1. I rooted my Sony Xperia M with Kingo.
2. I DLed the GTA San Andreas and placed the 'com.rockstargames.gtasa' folder in "emulated/0/android/obb" in the memory card and installed the apk.
3. I have also tried doing that by keeping the 'com.rockstargames.gtasa' in "android/obb" in the memory card and then installed the apk but still wont work. I always uninstalled the apk and then re-installed it.
4. Upon trying to play the game I constantly get the screen where it tries downloading some file and then in a few seconds says that I have not purchased the app. I am not able to play the game.
5. Also, I have 2 obb files.
i. main.6.com.rockstargames.gtasa.obb
ii. patch.6.com.rockstargames.gtasa.obb
Can anyone fix it please?

You have to delete the odex file with Root Explorer. It's somewhere in data/app and its icon is some kind of driver mechanism. It's easy to spot. It should then let you install it again. The odex file is named like the app, well somewhat. Hit thanks if it helped. )

If it's a "shared" apk, then it might work on the other device because it might be designed for it. Not sure about Asphalt particularly, but many Gameloft games have different versions for different processors. That, or you need to make sure you get the game data folder with the .obb in it that goes with the "shared" apk.
But if you are making a clean install from the Play Store, then I'd try to make sure I was on Dalvik (sure, it probably runs on ART, but seems like things install from the Play Store on Dalvik better, in my experience) and like PhilipTD mentioned, if you have had it installed before, delete the game data folder in /data/data and I'd delete the obb folder on the /sdcard in either the /android or /Gameloft folder (I don't have the game and too lazy to Google it), if that didn't get removed either. If all that fails, and you purchased the game, let Gameloft know and I'm sure they could point you in the right direction or discuss a refund.
Uninstall any other gameloft games
It will work definitely!
I was also having this prob and this occurs only with gloft games

I just found out that if I use apkeditor to change the installation location to internal the recompiled apk will install, I tried it with a couple of apps I couldn't install on my galaxy s4 with lollipop and now I can
So far for me it was Exoplanet Explorer and Turbo Dismount, and on both I just had to change the default location to internal.
@Yash24 Thanks man it worked I literally Created an account to thank you

Google play doesn't work after reinstall and recover

Hello. I had rooted phone (sony ericsson xperia pro) according the instruction which are posted on the forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1865796. I made it multiple times. Everything was ok. But I had no place on the phone so I decided to uninstall Google Play (via titanium backup). Then I installed it again (after downloading the .apk from the internet) and moved to SD. I had more space, but after running google play app, this notice has appeared : Application isn't working. Then I move it back to phone memory from the SD card but the app still have written the same thing. So I decided to restore the phone to factory settings. After restore the Google play app has not been installed. After rooting and installing the Google play app again --> the same problem. Can someone help? It is not possible to install other apps without function google play app, and some apps doesn't work correctly without it.
Need some advice pls. Thx

[CLOSED] Fix: How to get grand theft auto San Andreas on Huawei

There have been many crash reports of people who are trying to play GTA San Andreas on Huawei. I myself have been looking for a fix, but didn't find one yet. I did find a work-around for the time being. It uses a virtual Android inside a Android, like the app vmos. And it doesn't require root.
First thing, you need to make sure is that you have enough space to install both the VM and the game in itself. I recommend atleast 4 GB of space at minimum. You can get vmos pro, but if you are running a 32 bit CPU with 2 or even 1 GB of ram, and don't want to waste storage, use vmos lite. I recommend using vmos lite since it runs out of the box and has minimal issues. If you don't know if your CPU is 32 bit or 64, use apps like aida64 and go to the CPU tab to check.
Vmos pro link: XXXXXX
Vmos lite link: XXXXXX
If you want vmos pro, refer to this YouTube tutorial on how to set it up. Make sure you have Google services turned on (check video)- XXXX
If you want vmos lite:
1. Download vmos lite from this link- XXXXXX
2. Use a xapk installer to install it. You can use xapk installer from apkmody (XXXXXX ). Any other xapk installers should work as well.
3. After you have installed vmos lite, feel free to delete the xapk file you just installed in case you want more storage. You can delete the xapk installer as well since we don't need it for now.
4. Run vmos lite and give it the permissions it asked for. It should now start unpacking it's ROM.
5. After ROM is unpacked it should start launching the VM.
6. Now that you are in the vm, go down to settings. There go to system settings, after that in display, click "when device is rotated" and choose the option "rotate the contents of the screen"
Your VM is ready to install GTA San Andreas.
The next steps are more or less same for both vmos pro and lite. All of these are going to be done in the virtual OS, not the main device:
If you are going to download GTA San Andreas through Google Play store, sign in, and then purchase or install the game as you normally would on any other Android.
If you are going to download it from web, make sure you get the version 1.08 of GTA San Andreas. Below are the download links:
GTA SA version 1.08 APK: XXXXX
GTA SA version 1.08 OBB: XXXXX
If you want you can get mod apks or apks with Cleo menu as well. Just make sure both apk and obb are the same version.
After you have downloaded both the APK and the obb in the vm, first of all go to downloads (the app with the green arrow) and click on the APK file you just downloaded. It should start installation. Install the APK but do not open gta San Andreas yet. You can delete the APK file you downloaded for more storage.
Now download the xapk installer from apkmody again in your VM: XXXXX
Again, any other xapk installers should work as well, but I recommend using this one.
Install it.
After you have installed, go in the xapks installer and there click on "install". After that go to downloads and select the obb zip folder. Let it install.
After obb installation, you can delete both the obb and the xapks installer as well for more storage.
Now open gta San Andreas. Click on offline and now you can play it as usual .
Sorry if the process is long, but this is the only work around for the time being. Note that if it shows insufficient space when launching vmos, make sure you have atleast 1gb of free space if your using vmos lite, and probably 2gb of free space if your using vmos pro I'm not sure.
If you have any issues feel free to leave it here.
