[Q] Hword Button "Stuck" - Using Note 12.2 - Please Help - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

For several months, I've been using the "Free Draw" tool of Hword on my Note 12.2 to annotate essays for my students.
Suddenly, the "Detect Shapes" option on the menu bar is selected and I am unable to deselect it.
It is driving me crazy because every time I write a letter, a box appears, making it impossible to write.
I have already gone through Hancom's help documents and searched the Internet looking for a similar issue; however, I have been unable to find anything. I would very much appreciate it anyone can help me turn this selection key off.
Thank you in advance.

[Q] Help - Phone's virtual keys "shifted" down

Hi,
I'm on a Topaz with WinMo 6.5 Hebrew enabled but English interface.
Lately the number keys in the phone application are shifted one row down. I mean' when I press a number, the phone thinks I pressed the number one row below that. (i.e. If I press the place showing 5, an 8 will be dialed)
Oddly the "TALK" button and the "backspace" arrow button next to it do function normally, as does the whole screen in any other application.
My verbal explanation is not so clear, so please see the attachment. A screenshot with explanatory text.
Any idea what could have caused this? or how to fix it?
I was thinking about removing and re-installing the phone application, but don;t know how to do that, so any help in that direction would also be welcome.
Thanks!
~Azaria.
What is the right forum for this question?
It really bothers me, so really want to solve it.

[Q] My Library dictionary lookup

I'm having a problem with the "My Library" app that comes installed on the transformer.
Originally when I would long press on a word it would bring up a dictionary definition of the word on the screen, which was a very nice feature.
However, at some point this stopped working. Does anyone know how I might fix this?
I just tried updating firmware to 3.2.1 but it didn't bring it back.
Unfortunately I have not found any other reader I like, so I'd really like to get this working again. Any advice appreciated.
If you mark the word (appears in bright green) and then press over it, pops some options. One of them is Translate.
May be it's a bit tricky but it works
Thanks but thats a little different.
Before when I would long press on a word, it would automatically bring up a dictionary definition of it.
For some reason, it stopped doing this and I am trying to restore the functionality...

Handwriting

I can't seem to get the Note to move into any kind of handwriting mode (other than S Note and similar apps). I'd hoped to be able to use handwriting in Office, gmail, text messaging, etc. Any suggestion?

I don't have a note 10.1 (yet!), but want to know if you write a complete page of notes using handwriting can it be turned into a text document using software on the device?

when you click on a text field and the keyboard pops up, there is a button with a T on it to the left of the space bar. Hit that and the handwriting recognition input comes up.

I haven't got mine yet - arrives tomorrow, so this answer is based on what happens with the Note 5.3 that I do have. There is a setting for the Samsung keyboard which switches to handwriting input when the pen is detected. Have a look to see if that is a setting on 10.1 too. It is under Settings->Language and input-> Samsung keyboard->Pen detection

Just a minor addition to this. The T might not be there - it might be a cog, or a microphone. There are three dots on that button. Press and hold the button, and you get a popup offering you text input, handwriting input, speech input, or configuration. So there are four options, and depending what the button is currently set to, pressing and holding gives you access to the other three options.

[Q] Internet Browser 'window limit reached'

I'm getting a 'window limit reached' 'can't open a new window until closing another' warning, mostly when I'm using Overdrive Media Console. Pressing the menu key, I can't find anything in the list of settings to allow me to change the limit or view a list of the currently opened windows so I can close one. The 'search this forum' tool (the whole panel) disappears when I log in, and it didn't seem to work right when I wasn't logged in (I'm using IE 8, any issues?). A Google search brings up the problem on other/older devices, all say to press menu, windows, and close some windows. Thats what I see pressing menu on my Bionic(Gingerbread), but it a completely diffferent menu list on my gs3. Is this a Samsung or Ice Cream Sandwich difference?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Edit: Found the answer, please disregard and pardon my ignorance, I'll rtfm first in the future

HTC 10 split screen options

First, please forgive me if there's a sub thread for this phone. I didn't find it, and the help saying use the device forum went back to the menu where I already didn't find it. ?
My issue is that my HTC 10 suddenly decided that every press of the overview button will now activate split screen, not just long press. I remember when I first turned this function on there was an option did I want it to activate split screen on normal press or long press, but now I've spent two days on Google and cannot find this option! I can't seem to turn the function on or off as the help pages refer to menus I do not have. (Device and Multi window - they aren't there!!) and other help only tells me that long press should be working. I've had no updates since it was last working normally.
Please, anyone know where this option is hidden?

Go to your application manager and find the app(s) that control split screen and clear data and wipe cache.

Any ideas what I'm looking for? I had a scroll through and nothing jumped out at me to be the service the controls this feature. Then again, they have names that aren't particularly intuitive.
Update - Looks like I found it, thanks. I cleared out system UI and it's normal again. Still odd that the option vanished, it was definitely an easy menu.
