[Q] Where's my Themes? - Verizon HTC One (M8)

When I go into Settings --> Personalise --> Theme I only have four themes to choose from, shouldn't there be more?
I just did the 4.4.4 OTA which I thought was supposed to add more themes, are these in a different place or something?

I flashed this to unlock the new themes:

In order to install a theme (a .cab theme) do i need to do anything else besides installing it on the phone and clicking it? any special firmware or something?
no usually not.
if it's a theme, the best bet is to usually restart the phone and the theme should appear when u go select your theme.
i am also new to here

[Q] Installing themes - ZTE Blade Android 2.3.5

Hi, Iam new so maybe this is very stupid question but I spent few hours trying and could not figure this out myself.
So, I have ZTE Blade with rooted Android 2.3.5 I want to install there custom theme, but in every install guide is said "go to settings -> themes" or "go to your theme chooser app" and so on... I don't have the options of choosing themes in settings and every app i tried from android market for theme choosing did not work for me so..
Could you please tell me how to install custom theme on my phone? I appreciate every answer. Thanks a lot.
I somehow managed to install a theme (find theme in .zip and update zip with clockwork recovery mode) the theme changed but i still cannot choose between those two and what the theme did not change (and i want it to) is those icons in bottom of the display - now i have now i have phone, menu and browser.... iknow i can have also sms there and something else i cannot remember.... any ideas?
*BUMP*
Can anyone please give me some advice?

[Q] [Dev] How to change number of icons allowed on Home screen

Hi,
I am trying to modify the icon size of apps and number of icons which are shown on the home screen of my Phone.
I found that changing ro.sf.lcd_density in build.prop affects the complete system and it also not useful to change the size of icons shown on home screen.
I tried to change the android:maxRows="3" android:maxItemsPerRow="3" android:maxItems="6" in framework-res.apk package by following the advice given here. However it did not help me either.
Above method included retrieving of framework-res.apk, modifying the contents from layout-port directory, creating the zip and installing it. Which I did successfully without any error.
Currently I have 4x4 settings for the home screen, i.e. I can have maximum 16 icons on the Home page; and for example, I want to change it to 3x2 so that there can be only 9 icons on the home screen.
I also want to customize the icon sizes.
How can I do by modifying framework-res.apk or some other package from existing ROM?
Just to make sure: I don't want to install new application or theme, rather want to understand how it is done.
The device I work on has ICS installed. (I am using ICS Arco's CM9 for Samsung Galaxy S plus device)
Same here, but a little different
i'd like to know if it's possible to change to a 5x5 icon layout. had Android Revolution 5.1 and noticed on install that it gave that option. however, i just went back to stock rom so i can get my KitKat update. if it is possible, will i be able to do it on KitKat?

Click to collapse
Install apex launcher there you get many options to change grid size which will in turn allow you to have 5x5 grid

[Q] OnePlus One Themes

Is it possible to find the location where the OPO themes are stored? I'm on a rooted device
Just go to Play Store and you will find loads of themes.
I'm trying to extract a particular theme that I think came installed with my custom ROM, Ehndroix V. I may be wrong, since I didn't check the themes when I first got the phone

Themes app only showing local themes

I have the US version of mate 9. It's running on stock but I did unlock the bootloader and rooted it. I recall that even before unlocking the bootloader, the themes were only local. How do I fix that? I am on T-Mobile service. Thanks
I found the same thing. I downloaded this one for themes and once downloaded they appear in the Stock Themes App.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.deishelon.lab.thememanager
After installing the app, I was able to install new themes but I still did not get anything but local themes. The new themes that I downloaded showed up in the local themed section so I was able to install them. I still don't see that 'me' icon on the top. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll use it as a workaround for now.
