Try the Holo locker app if you don't like the icon in the stock lock screen. Other lock screens are available

So I was wondering if there's already custom lock screens that has been ported to our device from the other Android devices?? No, I'm not asking for an app so don't post about "Oh, there's already Widget locker, ripple lock, etc.." what I'm looking for is a real "port" of a lock screen from the other roms and Android devices, I kind of envy these Cyanogen Mod users and MIUI users that they are able to change their Lock screens style and how it functions and as well as the UI.
So how about it? does anyone knows? I'll be waiting for a respond~

Actually man dats nt gonna be easy...i tried a port of 5lockscreen mod !!
but the source itself is not compatible with our phone as our firmware is not as same as G-S !!!!!!

I tried to create a rotary style lockscreen from uot kitchen but was unsucessful....any idea how to go about that...

I know it won't be that easy, but I was just wondering if anyone knows another lock screen port for our device, I hope someone would port custom lock screens soon!!

Yes.. it is from FitDroid.. which is based on KPL only !!
Why don't you do the lockscreen port for other advanced ROMs such as KQ4 ??
You will port this for XPL ? I am on XWKQ2 and I want the 5 lockscreen T-T

i use agile lock instead the cyanogen one\
agile lock its free download from market
go lo yor apps/agile lock/settings/choose fix problem with double lock and use method 2 and thats it, thats if you want another lockscreen, but cm has many features with his own lockscreen

yes, I tried to upload both framework-res.apk and systemui.apk but it doesn't work.
BTW, I read some posts in i9003 forum and it it seems that we need to modify the android.policy.jar file.

+1 for me the best app to change the lockscreen but sometimes the original comes out and this is boring.

u r the master themer ....even if it makes u mad,u have still made like 100's of themes........................

No, still the same problem. By other lock screen work the wallpaper chanege only at gesture lock is it problem.
After update the latest version, problem solved

managing home screen depends on the LAUNCHER you have installed, Many launchers support menu button and then go to edit mode.
while some launcher work when we keep on pressing some part of the home screen.
I use the in built launcher please help me???

What are you actually trying to do?
If u want to delete something from homescreen for ek some app icon then keep on pressing that app for 2-5 sec there an option for delete and uninstall will come you can delete from there..
If you want to add widget then from menu go to widget section press any widget and drag it to home screen.

Stock launcher
The stock launcher is not very customisable i.e. add or delete lock screens or add or delete rows and colums . That is the reason other launchers are available on play store . Install them and make them default . No root required . Not possible to edit stock launcher . I checked google . I too am on stock JB v1.11 . Tried all other roms ... Suvi ,varun chitre etc . .. back to stock .v1.11 . Most bug free . Use Next/Apex/Nova launcher they are more customisable .:good:
