[Q] I5801BVJP9 - Original Android Lockscreen ?

Hello,
I'm looking for a safe way to have the original Android lockscreen on a rooted I5801 running on I5801BVJP9.

If you are not using a CUSTOM Rom that is cooked in the kitchen, then please make sure you have checked the original settings>Location & security>Set unlock pattern and then connect the dots. This option is not normally changed even on custom roms (at least not the ones found on this site!)

Thanks but I wasn't looking for this "dot" lockscreen (which I know) but for the original Android lockscreen that was removed by Samsung.
This original Android lockscreen is with 2 buttons :
- The left one that unlocks the screen when you slide it to the right
- The right one that mutes the phone when you slide it to the left

even i want the same thing. Touchwiz is not good. No luck at all. I am using kyriloss' rom. Someone help!

I recently bricked my I9000 after trying to install the Android lockscreen made for XWJS3 ROM on my XWJS5 ROM...
So I won't risk to face the same trouble and rather look for an Android lockscreen made for I5801BVJP9...

Curious...
You can't brick your phone by replacing android.policy.odex
Your phone could be stuck at boot animation...
if it's the case and if you're not reboot, you can use ADB to push your android.policy.odex you have backuped.
if not, you've just to reflash your phone.

I could unbrick my I9000 by reflashing the ROM but I don't want to do the same on my father's I5801 ;-) that's why I'm looking for the right file...

I HAVE created a custom theme in UOT Kitchen (including modifying the lockscreen icons) now I want the original green round icons back... i've been searching everywhere with no luck. Is this possible without an app?
Can I modify a file, download an .APK, etc?
While I'm on the subject... can I change the background to just a flat black?

Is there any way that we can get that android lock work on different stock ROMS?????
I want it too for my DDJP6 ROM....

this is not the solution we are looking for.
we want the lockscreen mod for stock ROM....
and Kyrillos is not a STOCK ROM....

then you can go for widget locker which is available on the market...

[MOD][TW][4.1.2]TouchWiz,White Setting, White Keyboard,etc. (20/06)

hello, I wanna share my little hobby, simple mod only, hope u like
I'm working on Superbean ROM v1.3.1 files, so this MOD will work flawlessly if you already on root, deodexed, XXLT4, preload system app files, have CSC folder/files, AND 320 DPI.
TW Launcher + accuWeatherWidget + GoogleSearchWidget from S4
4x4 home grid size, like galaxy s4/note 2. (menu grid size is default)
auto rotate 360
wallpaper scrolling + page looping OFF (so it will look nice), for page looping OFF you MUST have CSC folder/files
page count until 9
layout accuwetherwidget looks different but still looks nice, I'll update next time
Flashbarservice
white theme like galaxy S4 with best size
Stock Keyboard
white theme in all condtion
enable secondary symbol -- you MUST have CSC folder/files
Setting Menu
white theme
unfortunately it still has Superbean Addons menu, so if your ROM isn't Superbean it will make FC when you click the Superbean Addons menu
Solution :
create your own white setting, I'll show for guide below, or
remove it from menu: learn from majdinj great tutorial HERE, or
install all Apps that on Superbean Addon
Contact + Phone
contact image from galaxy S4
Messaging
contact image + bubble with best padding/space for textview from galaxy S4 too
Lockscreen
auto rotate 360
Galaxy S4 Clock on left position, left position only for Clock, Date, and Charge Text.
All stuff above is my own mod. I made it carefully, so if still has bug please tell me except bug of translation/language

Additional :
New stock P0laris 0ffice full from s4, new Samsung Apps (I got this from galaxy note II themes and apps section)
Video Player with live thumbnail Preview (this is not my mod, I got from Alliance ROM)
High res stock wallpaper galaxy note 8
How to install:
- Backup your original File
- flash file zip below from CWM
- for polaris office and samsung apps just install
Some Tips:
1. for backup, copy my zip file to another folder on your computer and replace all things inside with yours (preload / non preload system will has different location), so if everything goes wrong, you can easly restore by flashing your original file
2. if you don't want to use all things above, just remove file FROM ZIP that you don't want install
example:
lockscreen - /system/framework/framework-res.apk
videoplayer - /preload/symlink/system/app/videoplayer.apk AND all inside /system/lib/*
keyboard - /preload/symlink/system/app/samsungIME.apk
etc.
3. if you're non preload system apps
compare all my files inside the zip with yours original file.
example:
if your AccuWeatherWidget.apk has location in /system/app/ then move my file AccuWeatherWidget.apk to /system/app like yours.
etc
4. if you come from another stock ROM 4.1.2, you can try and tell me always do backup first!

1. launch Messaging app from multiwindow,
2. launch Browser app from multiwindow,
then try to write, it will show the floating keyboard :fingers-crossed:

I don't know, but I guess not.
you can try to modify yourself, I found THIS guide to enable Auto Correct.

Why don't you mod it for next update? Because Samsung keyboard isn't perfect without auto correction. Some more my laptop spoiled. Can't do anything. Lol.

Try the Holo locker app if you don't like the icon in the stock lock screen. Other lock screens are available

Hello everyone i am on the latest COS12.1 Stock ROM and i am rooted with twrp installed. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the lockscreen wallpaper to not be transparent. If you still don't know what i mean is that i want the lockscreen wallpaper to be as bright as the home screen wallpaper.

Set a lock screen wallpaper from theme chooser. If none is set, it defaults to transparent.

System Apps empty wallpaper

Hi, some of my system apps ( clock, calculator and recorder ) got an empty wallpaper as background. How can I fix that?

Try to revert back to default theme or change ur current theme . if u are using CMTE , a reboot should help u much .

I think I found the problem. It happens when I select scrollable background in the Nova launcher settings and apply the background via "Google Backgrounds"
Edit: it's a live wallpaper. That's the problem.
