I was very pleased with this app that Transform your watch to a high end DSLR Remote controller using the built-in IR on the smart watch works very great for group shoot or even Selfies.
It called ''DSLR Smart Remote'' and here is a video that show how to use it Peace

Nice.. I have already been using this capability to control DSLR using the smart IR remote app.
Overall, I love my uses of Gear 2. Hope they will update the firmware to newer Tizen version soon

I love Google TV, but hate having the big keyboard in my lap all the time. The phone app is good but we be GREAT if it was in landscape. I know the best devs are here so I am challenging someone to try to make this. Maybe even with some nice teeming too semi transparent or ics theme.

It's on the Market, but I'm not sure it's quite what you're hoping it is.
Mainly, it's just a remote control for your existing set-top box (Logitech Revue) or Sony smart TV with Google TV integrated.
But I am looking for the app to be in landscape mode

Ok I imagine it would be fun to go to a friends house and hook up your 5$ Micro HDMI cable from your phone to their TV and start playing some strange video... but besides that, what would be the most impressive? I'm thinking running some video console emulator would be the best trick, if friends with androids could get a bluetooth controller app off market and could play VS.? Is this even possible?:fingers-crossed:
Yes, it is possible. You can use a wii remote, PS3 controller, or USB keyboard as a controller for the games.

theres an app called sixaxis controller that should allow you to pair a PS3 controller thru bluetooth
i also found this which looks kinda kool, i didnt read it to see if it has specific requirments, just looked cool as hell and caught my eye lol

Also there are some emulators that have built in controller support so all you have to do is pair it with the phone and map the buttons. But for the sixaxis controller app you need to be rooted for the controller to work. Rooting will also give you the option to overclock the processor so some of the more graphics heavy games will run smoother.

That is pretty sick! At first I though it was for the Keyboard function of a smartphone but actually the screen for the game! Though I'd like to see that mount different...In the gaming sense for VS games Tribes Ascend?!!Wonder if they'' have a android app prolly not .... It is better and does not require the TV...In the mean time I came up with using the TV connected to the triumph for a mobile security detail using tinycam monitor installed on the Triumph connected via HDMI to TV and SeCuret spycam Livestream (vs ip cam it has the benefit of detect motion @upload to dropbox as well... Feeding video is all IP camera does

Our beautiful S4 has a number of sensors.
What are your views about it ?
Are you using these sensors in your daily use ?
Please feel free to share your reviews.
I use the remote because its easy to check the guide and switch channels immediatly instead of running the guide on the tv which covers the whole tv. As for the humidity and temperature sensors i can only say that they definetly work they're pretty sensitive and will be affected by body heat. They're fun to use though and could be very useful with the right widgets or apps

Are there any better remote control apps than the "peel - smart remote". Im really not that big a fan of this remote. Thank you

I was thinking about all the cool stuff that can be integrated to android wear. Well I think an IR blaster would be a very nice addition for people who use TV, AC, and other stuff. NFC and an LED notification light would also be a useful addition to android wear our any other smartwatches.
This is why I stick with the HTC One line of devices. I really hope the M9 has a Google Edition, otherwise I don't know what I'll do.
The watches would be nice to have all the sensors and transmitters as phones. But an IR blaster from the wrist would be sweet.

This is the only reason I stick with my Samsung gear 2 plus the camera feature.
Maybe we can get an app that will control the ir blaster off our android devices since my z2 tab has an it blaster using my smart watch to control the ir blaster would be great
