Hi,
I can not connect the wifi in any way. My phone came with the ota r33 and had wifi.
Then did the ota update to r38 and continued with wifi but then he started with bootloops
I did unlock the bootloader and installed TWRP, after that I wipe everything
did persist.img flash and flash the r33 again and the wifi did not work anymore.
I updated for the r38 and nothing.
I manage to get a logcat with the errors.
can anyone help me, please!

Do you think that flashing kernel will resolve wifi issue?
If you are going to flash a kernel try Franco r27

There was an issue with r38 and WiFi with the wrong kernel at first. You can try flashing kernel or stock ROM from Calkulin

rfsb,
Try the following bellow.
1. Transfer/Download Root Explorer or ES File Explorer.
2. Navigate to /data/misc/wifi.
3. Rename or delete wpa_supplicant.conf
4. Reboot
Wifi should be working now.

Try any stock ROM and see if it works.
Make sure as it is very very important to wipe off your data and system partitions before you install a ROM.
Once your stock ROM is working, download any ROM update app from market and install the ROM you want.

I've flashed "L" about 5 times since the factory image was available (I'm indecisive like that) and before I go back to a custom ROM I always flash the factory 4.4.4 just to be safe. I haven't run into any problems doing that, and it may be overkill ; but I can confirm that the method won't break anything.

you can flash L, then any other ROM you want after, from 444. I don't know about philz, but using twrp, you can wipe you system, which makes your phone romless until you flash another ROM. so you can flash 444, then flash L, then flash 441(if you wanted to).
I flash L via recovery, not via system image. it makes it much easier going back and forth

Do I flash a rom first, boot into it and complete setup, and then go back to recovery and flash the kernel? Or do I flash the kernel and rom at the same time in one recovery session.
Thanks

It should be done consecutively to minimize chance of error. And it's also time efficient to do it at once.
And he can flash his ideal kernel as long as it's compatible with his device; It's not rom specific.

I am using Peter's recovery and wish to go back to stock recovery as installing ota is tiring. How can I do that without losing data and files?
If you are using official MIUI ROM, dirty flashing full recovery ROM will also overwrite custom recovery with stock recovery.

if ues then just unroot using magisk unistaller and reboot it will restore stock recovery then use ota to update then again you can flash twrp peter recovery by fastboot and boot in to recovery and then flash magisk it will again have both recovery and root

Just download the fast boot rom from the official website and flash it by mi flash tool.
And during flashing it select flash all except data.
And you will lose nothing and your recovery will be restored.
Then you can flash ota by that.

Ok... I will try this... wating for new update that i can verify it too.
Thanks
I have one solution
simple
just things needed are:
1. miui stock recovery img
2. vbmeta
next,
1. First flash recovery image.
2. Then flash vbmeta image.
what does vbmeta do. it actually saves the recovery image after flashing new recovery.
3. Finished reboot
