Baseband question

Howdy! I have a friend who has a Verizon Razr Maxx HD. He would like to use it on T-Mobile. I know about the NV RAM bit change that will allow non-Verizon sims.
My question is will flashing the Rogers ROM replace the Baseband firmware and allow 1700/2100Mhz LTE on T-Mobile? I found the specs for the Rogers X925 and it states that the device supports these bands. Thank You in advance!
Bump. Anyone tried this or know if it is safe?

Cannot access 3g internet on XT1032

Hello,
I have moto g XT-1032 which i bought from USA ,the global version.
I have unlocked the bootloader and installed cm11 nightly.
Now i live in india. (Bought it from USA because i didn't wanted to wait)
Here we get 3g connection as UMTS/HSPA+ But cm11 has option only for WCDMA 3g. On which i get no service.
Please help me with this.
Or someone tell me which rom will have the option for UMTS HSPA 3g.

Probably the needed band is not supported in your country... I use the GPE firmware, that is a nice stock version of android, the lighter (official) and the first one that get updates. GPE supports both UMTS and HSPA+ bands, you could like it. If you need a custom rom I don't know...

[Completed] [Q] E975 3G in argentina(basebands)

Hi people, last year I bought an unlocked e975 international version in the US and I live in Argentina, the frequencies used here are 850/1900 for 3g and doing a quick search i've found that the phone specs say it supports 900/2100. There is nothing i can do to get the 3g to work here? If I try flashing modems is it going to be the same? Thanks in advance

I am not sure about it.

Anybody attempt to flash Cricket XT1045 with ATT XT1045 firmware?

Looks like Motorola & AT&T decided to release 5.1 around mid January. Anybody try flashing the ATT firmware on a Cricket-branded XT1045 (Moto G LTE)?
Thanks
Interesting. Has anyone been able to do this?
