Have xoom 3g mz600 Verizon bought from USA now I am in UK I want use it how I can unlock it or put new ROM thanks
Hi I hope someone can help me
I bought an unlocked HTC one (not sure about the exact model 801n 801 etc)
But LTE is not working, my carrier LTE band is aws is there a way to make it work? I've tried with the testing screen where you can change to gsm/lte/CDMA etc but it doesn't work. Also I rooted my phone so I would like to know if I can flash a radio or something.
Thanks it would be very helpful if someone answered
Just saw there are lots of roms on the sub forums for AT&T, Verizon etc.... are those working for Canadian G2?
No. The verizon model is a cdma phone and the att model has a extra noise cancelling mic which causes speaker issues when ported to other gsm models. The canadian version is the same as the international (d802) and tmobile (d801) if i remember correctly. So you should be able to flash a tmobile or d802 rom if you switch out the boot.img with the one from your device. Or flash a custom kernel after the rom install that is r your device.
I know one of the canadian variants shares the model number with tmobile us device, and there is a d803 right? Is the 803 a cdma device?

I think I found the fix for this

nice job for this thread, will try this
Hi guys.
The Verizon m8 supports these LTE bands : Verizon: 700/AWS/1800/2600 MHz (taken from the official HTC web site),
but it seems like 1800/2600 are software locked and can't be used.
I had the same issue with the AT&T version of the M8, but installing a rom would fix this issue.
Unfortunately, installing a rom on the Verizon m8 does not help and these bands are still locked.
bootloader unlocked and soff.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hi, M9guy
I have same issue with you, I am in China Now, they lock 1800MHz. I tried to find solution, but failured, android version for Verizon M8 can use QPST unlock Verizon Band limitation, but M8 for windows not support by QPST. Certainly, I am not expert, so don't know whether exactly support. After check XDA, found have some guys use QPST flash custom image for Lumia 1520, I don't know whether M8 for windows can use QPST.
If can use QPST, we can try to change Band data that should same as android version.
Thanks
Yong
Hello,
does anyone know the easiest way to GSM unlock the Trackfone/Straighttalk version of this Verizon S6?
This version is called the SM-S906L . Apparently it is identical to the Verizon version except running a different rom for CDMA.
Could I just root it, install TWRP and install a Verizon rom on it.........so it would be GSM unlocked?
Thanks for any info.
