I wunt to purchase a i535 and use it on verizon prepaid. i know that a sprint s3 can be flashed to verizon but i can't find out if the i535 can be flashed to verizon i know it can be flashed to page but i only get service with verizon. i need to know how to go about getting prepaid on the i535. is there anyway to flaah to veriZon prepaid or is there someway to get a sim card for verizon prepaid and just put it in the phone since its already verizon i just never heard of prepaid sim. please help idk where ro start or what to do.. either flash it or use a sim but idk... can the verizon i535 eaven be flashy d to prepaid???

I bought At&t unlocked phone from ebay. I have prepaid service (gophone). Its working no problem to me. But I can't update it to GB without rooting.

Its your sim card that is locked. Call them and tell them you are swapping phones and they will unlock the sim. Had the same issue when I got my inspire
So i have been searching though the threads and I am finding different conflicting answers. I am doing this for my sister in law. She has a verizon sch 1535. I am wanting to unlock it to be used on att. I read that they are already unlocked but when I tried putting in my sim card (cincinnati bell) it said "non verizon sim card". I am familar with rooting i just need to know what i need to do to get it unlocked. also if i get it unlocked will data work?
You might want to flash a custom rom that is multi-carrier
Hey all. I did the SIM unlock through the service menu on my ATT I747 and I was wondering if this option is available for the Verizon S3 if you flash it to 4.1.1. I am on 4.1.2 on this verizon s3 and am going to downgrade to 4.1.1 The service menue is there on 4.1.2 but some of the options are missing. If I flash to 4.1.1 Does This Work???????

I did the 4.1.1 root injected flash, and the service menue stops at network lock option and from what I have tested and read its already sim unlocked anyway. I put an active att sim in it and it worked just fine although with this phone you can only get EDGE network on this phone with a att sim or straight talk sim. Its rooted, BL unlocked custom recovery, and JellyBeans ROM installed. Still no matter what I do or try it is stuck on edge. If there is anything else I can do to make 3 and 4g work on this Verizon GS3 through GSM straight talk for the love of God someone please fill me in. Or if anyone wants to trade for an att version of the GS3 PM me and lets do it.
Verizon GSIII is restricted to 2G EDGE outside of VZW. You may able to get 3g(hspa+) in Asia or Europe.
If I have the AT&T variant and flash the universal firmware. Could I then use the phone on the Verizon network??
If you sim unlock the phone then yes it should work.
Hey guys, I've got an unlocked T-Mobile s10e that I'm currently using with straight talks att sim. Service isn't that great at my house with att and my wife's Verizon gets all her bars. Can I just swap with the Verizon sim, or do I need to flash the Verizon firmware. I'm very familiar with Odin and flashing with the s6 and s5, but I do currently have a locked bootloader. If I do need to flash the Verizon firmware, which one do I need to use? I've been a member here for years but couldn't get into my old user name so had to create a new one.
