it doesnt matter what you are running. when you flash a factory img, you are erasing everything thats on your phone(your phone will be empty) and putting a new img on. you dont need to do anything else but follow the instructions.

I have root and will be happy to backup and send you a copy. I'm guessing that I need to unlock my bootloader and install a custom recovery first. I cant seem to locate information on unlocking the bootloader and where to get the correct CWM for this tablet. If you point me in the right direction I'll hook you up ?
The cwm can be found here

Nothing to test, cwm works and its a backup. I'll see if I can pull images and make a stock zip like I did for AOSP. So that if it's ever needed again it will be easier.
Also check earlier in the thread for the location that cwm backs up to. For some reason it isn't the standard location.

Emotion kernel for sm915p

Check it out in Android Original Development section of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge main forum and don't forget to hit the Thanks button on Dev
As of right now my data isn't working but I feel like if I clean install my ROM everything is going to work.....Kernel is serious business though we owe thar Dev and tx_dbs_tx our thanks without them our device would be so lame
I'll test it for you right now. Where is the download? lol
Edit---- Wait. I misread it. I understand now. Thank you.

It does not work. I tried everything. Even a clean install before flashing the Kernel. It makes the bootsound, but the screen is black, and never boots.
It boots for me have you tried using tx_dbs_tx stock deodexed rom? I still can't get the data to work and the phone might actually be the hottest I've ever felt a device almost burning my hands but i will get this to work. I'll keep you posted

Typo its work
I get a message when trying to flash it with CWM that says 'bad' and then it aborts. I found a .tar of twrp and installed with odin, then tried to flash the kernel zip from recovery and it actually said it was corrupt. It was the same with all four of the nightly kernels I found in the emotion files.

OK let's see, www.emotroid.com has no r. 22 up AT ALL. It also claims 915P but that on only goes to 19. So you tell me, why is this so great whenever it does neither of the two most important things? Such as support what it claims, and is actually there for download? Sounds like total operator error to me

Hi, I just got my sawfish today. And this is my first Android wear device.
I want to update my watch to OREO, now it's still on 2.9, 7.1.1.
But everytime I open my system update menu, it shows a blue screen with a circle, but I think it's not progressing. Don't know why. The previous update process from 2.0 to 2.9 did run very well.
So, do I need to update it manually? Which files do I need? Update.zip? Or boot, recovery and system image files? What is the different between them?
And how to do it?
Thank you very much
Edit: just found the solution in another thread. That is to turn off BT and connect to WiFi. Now the update process is starting to work
great. Mine always fail with auto update, hope this one will do.
---------- Post added at 11:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:58 AM ----------
thank you. Is the file sth like this? HUAWEI WATCH 2 BT_Update_NXH20B_release.exe, as mine always failed with the auto update?
Update: Just download and find the update.zip, what step should I do to update with it?

Android P Nightly Beta Builds for Mi Mix 2S (Chinese)

Xiaomi has begun building nightlies for Android P, so I've added them below.
https://funkyhuawei.club/mimix2builds
All builds are from Xiaomi's servers. Just providing links. I can't answer any questions about them, because I haven't been able to try them. But the below link might help people understand what they are:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://en.miui.com/thread-2439969-1-1.html
(Cached version, original seems to have been removed from Xiaomi forum)
Although we do this for free/fun, any donations provided will encourage us to keep up the Xiaomi research.

I think better to flash with fastboot than with twrp.
You'll need to use tools to get the system image from the files included to flash in fastboot. I think sdat2img should do it.

In RN5 case, its permanent screen burn-in. It's so bad that even if you used the build for less than an hour, you can say goodbye to your IPS panel. Some used warranty to replace the panel for free.
