Why do you keep inventing more and more ROMs rather clean and repair the official's your "creations" is only for trivial number of users.
Do something useful for others rather than for themselves.
Nobody's no wonder.!!!!
And CWM for Locked BL? Nothing?
So I need to unlock BL to enter recovery? And Play answer me, does phantom kernel break WiFi?

WiFi's now fixed in phantom kernel. And yes you need to unlock your bootloader in order to flash the kernel.

No. Won't be available due to bug in CWM in BL. Developers have tried already.

Then why don't you give us one without errors ? Don't be arrogant, people are working here on their own time to give us better ROMs, they don't get paid for what they do. And why don't you learn english when posting on enslishspeaking forum ? 37 years and still sounding like spoiled kinder garden bratt.

Which recovery are you using? Do you factory reset after flashing? Can you give me a link to the last one you tried?

OK, I'm home now. Follow this guide to install cwm recovery http://techbeasts.com/2013/10/20/how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-s1-gt-i9000-guide/
When you done with this, try to flash the ROM again using the guide from the previous link I posted (the link you downloaded the ROM from)
Edit: also, for the no signal problem, try a different modem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1870460&page=32[emoji16]

I'm not sure what that's about. Only other option is to try another ROM now, Cyanogenmod for example, try a stable ROM from here https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=galaxysmtd

I'm sorry buddy, that was the best I could do. Your next step would be to ask help in the Q&A in the i9000 section on XDA. The link I posted earlier. Good luck and sorry I couldn't help more.

Thnx for your affort hoop to hear of you.
I'm trying to restore the ability to do OTA updates after I've rooted my device. I;ve tried unrooting but that doesn't solve the problem.
How does the OS check that you have rooted the device in the past? I don't have access to a stock rom (Yet) to check if a firmware flash might restore everything to normal.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist.
You need to be on stock ROM and stock recovery. Also preferably unrooted and without any system modifications like xposed and such. That's all you need to have to be able to get OTAs.

Thanks for the reply
I am on stock rom, I also think that i'm on a stock recovery, since I never flashed the recovery. I used Kingo root to root the device, dont know if that flashed a custom recovery. I'm also not aware of any modifications.

The question was actually answered in a previous thread, no?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/hisense-u800-infinity-h6-restore-ota-t3129478
Anyway, XDA Doesn't have a dedicated forum for that device, so either try and boot to recovery and see if it's stock or custom (custom probably is either CWM or TWRP or Philz), or try asking the same thing over at the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Thank you.

I have been looking around and can't seem to find the stock recovery for my Z5 E6653. Anyone know how to get the stock recovery back. Wanna do this to get Sony's Android N update.
Thanks!

Oh and will this lock the bootloader? And can I still take ota updates?
Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
I have an unlocked bootloader and have a custom rom installed on my XZ and I was wondering if it is possible to go back to the stock firmware that you get out of the box as I like that better.
Yes you can. You just have to use the Community Flashtool to download your firmware then you can flash yourself back to stock.
