Hi everybody,
Im migrating to a new computer this week and want to make sure I do it properly without losing data.
Any advice for this? Can I export my activesync profile so the new computer recognizes the phone and data and doesnt tell me to start a new profile?
Any recommendations, advice?
thanks in advance!!
Dan
you don't need to do anything... if all the data you currently want is on your phone, just start using your new comp and it will sync everything. of course you'll have to set it up the sync though. you wont lose any data...
To be safe, make a backup of your phone's contacts. PPCPimBackup works perfect for that!
I am attaching it. just copy it to your phone. It takes a little while to start.
I have an HTC touch diamond, and my display is broken (phone is working, and screen also, but it cant sense/ "read" any touch). So i cant calibrate the screen, and because of that i cant do anything, but i really like to get my personal data (contacts, etc. ) from my phone. Are there any solutions to this problem? any software or some way to get back my data via pc?
Hello,
First, i can tell you that i'm not very good in english, sry :X
Yesterday, my sister try to unlock the schema on my phone and blocked it. I try to recover my phone by my gmail account however my phone wasn't connect to internet (no 3G and no Wifi) so i can't use this option...
I read a lot of thread on french and english forum without findings a solution, but i still hope a solution before hard reset, because i get some important data (professionnal sms), and "like a boss" i haven't save it before...
For information, my phone is a Wiko Cink Peax 2 on Android 4.1.2 and isn't rooted.
Also, i search at last if i can extact my data (picture and video done by data transfer) like sms and contacts from my phone via USB ? And not by an application... I was thinking about to copy whole memory of the phone and paste it after hard reset? ^^'
Otherwise, i search if i can activate internet? Or connect my phone to internet (by micro-USB? 0.o) ? to save my phone by gmail account?
Or if they are an other methods to save the data?..
Thanks for possible answers,
I wish you a merry christmas
Hi all,
I know this has been said some where and all but i am trying to find a way . I am running cyanogen mod latest version 11 with latest OTA.. not into 12 and all. I am trying to connect mobile to laptop and make it recognize as a drive not as a portable player. I have tried various options like enabling usb debugging, and storage -> usb options and all nothing helped
everything shown it as a portable player. Now i will tell you my need of it, i Use Automatic call recorder for recording calls - not all only very important and precious ones. I should have learned most about their options and all.. everytime i call some one i stop the recording. But it was told that after 100 voice recordings the old ones will be deleted automatically and will be always 100 only at any time.. with all junk calls i have lost my precious recordings being replaced with new ones. When i recently found out that there is no option to recover those files, my next step is the data recovery..and there no good apps that can directly run on mobile and recover..so the next best option is to connect the mobile to laptop and make it as a drive and try to recover files..
Please tell me an option to make this happen.to connect oneplusone mobile to laptop and make it as external hard drive..and good data recovery software.. i really in need of those recordings. .some precious moments in my life..
Thanks...
I have no experience with call recordings, but are the recordings saved in a specific folder and a specific file type ? If so maybe use a backup app/program to backup those files everyday and sync them to cloud storage automatically ?
thanks and appreciate your reply.. the files are already lost.. i am taking care of current recordings..but wanted to get the files already deleted..
If you're still writing data to the internal storage you're gonna find it very hard to recover any deleted data, because it's overwriting those blocks. When attempting to recover lost data you need to completely cease any writing to the drive/card.

Maybe this thread will help:

Alternatively, Dr. Fone may be compatible with your device and may work--there is a trial offer, but I don't know details.

Very simple. Use any OTG cable and insert there a memory card reader or pen drive even a external hard disc. I always connect my ONE PLUS ONE to my 1TB seagate backup plus hard drive with OTG cable for data transfer.
I think just plug in then the PC will have a "phone" logo on the drive. Or am I missing something. If not thing happened, go to setting---> stroage--->"menu"--->USB Computer connection
For recovering Flash Drive data, I think that is very hard. Good luck.
I need help transferring data , more specifically game data from a broken phone. The phone is HTC one a9. USB debugging is off on this device how can I recover game data from this device and get it onto another device? The game data was not backed up anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
There is no chance, IMO.
It won’t be possible to extract the data from the device without fixing the phone first.
