Display size showing only 4.59 inch
Thanks for this wonderful rom....installed in the morning....everything working fine....just when i checked display size it shows 4.59 inch instead of 5.7...with the resolution 1080*1920 & 480 DPI why??? please solve if this is problem.

HOW TO INSTALLUse custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
After the boot logo (boot logo may look as if its stucked)
blank screen is seen its not hanged.
wait until it boots.
Phone reboot once inbetween so dont worry.

Display size shown wrongly but its not an issue anyways.
This rom is ported from 5 inch phone so its like that.
Its not going to matter in anyways
as resolution and DPI is correct:good:

I have installed this rom yesterday and found there is 2 problems immediately.
1) no sound from the mobile. I tried to play music, ringtone but still so success.
2) There is no incoming calls after installing this rom.
Only sound i heard is from dial pad while making outgoing calls.
I am new to this technical thing and no have idea what is Gravity box, Xposed or Framework. Any thing you can explain me on this please.

can u please make sure wheather u installed Xperia Z3 rom kitkat based
or Purexperia z2 rom JB based
because the issues u mentioned is for Purexperia z2 which is solved just by restarting once or twice.
u please goto settings and see about phone and confirm.
Camera bug.
Using this rom from last 2 days.....its smooth, nice & stable to just one problem i'm getting is that HDR mode in camera not taking picture it force camera to close & other thing is i'm still not finding Move to SD option as in LG G3 rom.... but over all it's very good Rom.... Nice work...:good:

Hi Avi,
I apologies for wrong information. You are right, i have installed Purexperia z2 Rom. But the problem was not solved even after restarting.
Anyway I downloading and going to installed your new rom Stock LG G3 OS 4.4.2. Can you please if there is any bugs and which rom you will recommend me for best use.
Additionaly I have wifi issue with my Xolo q3000 handset. It hardly catches signal even if its in full strong signal zone like airport. My main reason to change the rom is to solve its wifi issue. please advice on this.

just check this issue is still there or not.
try clearing chache of app - settings-apps-camera/gallery - clear chache
Move to sd card option is there only
settings-apps- select app u wanna to move to sd.

it must be a hardware issue cant be solved by any software.
this is according to my knowledge.
I have seen three mediatek mobile like it (MMX-A117, XOLO Q600, LAVA IRIS)
all of them got replaced by Customer care.

just convert the supersu app as superuser app as shown in the link and then try for viper.

I changed the supersu to superuser as per the instruction given in the link for rooting and I could complete it successfully. But the vipr4android is not working still.... Driver installation failed error

I found an issue today with camera... The picture property settings and the camera settings (both still and video) are not getting saved. Also the auto focus is not working... Please advice

I installed z3 ROM today but there is no root access. I tried to root it with framaroot and mtkdroid but nothing works please help me.below is the screen shot of such pre installed.

Viper4android not working
Dear Avi,
I tried installation Viper latest vertion downloaded from official page and installaed. It is asking for the driver installation menu and every time I open it. It is kind of diver installation loop. I have tried the flashable version also but same result. Kinldy include the viper with this ROM and update as this is the best rom i ever used in q3000....

viper already added,and 13mp camera tweak is fake.....and i will make patch for missing feature and provide it via OTA.

I already solved the camera problem using SGalaxy V.2 camera fix patch.. But, Viper audio has not all options for tweaking the sound quality which i found all previous Roms made by "TeaM DaRkDrOiD" . In this Rom everything is quite good but not giving good sound quality.It's just original stock Rom.. Please focus on Viper . It really needs to improve ... I will be waiting for ur next update .. But, till then i'm going back to my previous Rom SGalaxy S.2 by "TeaM DaRkDrOiD"...But, Thank You for ur great effort..

By the way what error are you getting?
2.5/5 Lack off good stock apps. and its terrible interface.

Its been 5 hours using this ROM , it feels like I'm handling a true xperia,
Best stable ROM so far bro
Apps like whats new, socialife, smart connect, Sony select and xperia link makes it more xperia
Walkman, album, movies r most beautiful things in xperia devices,
ROM is perfectly themed, but missing xperia lockscreen, dialer, messanger, in call and call screen, which would have made this ROM a 100% I'm basically a galaxy fan so was using octamod sgs5 ROM for a month and didn't wanted to change it, but now after using this ROM I don't want to get back to that rom:thumbup::thumbup:
Battery backup yet to be tested
Bugs I noticed was xperia home fc sometimes and viper drivers is not getting installed, it shows that its getting installed but after reboot, it asks again,
Camera quality is good, I think bravia engine is not included which is the essential part in xperia, tried to flash bravia engine 3, but nothing seem to be changed
And rare camera is showing only 9.5 MP, I have a doubt, does it really matter all,
Over all best stable xperia experience on xolo q3k

for viper please try updating busybox from playstore.
Bravia engine is not yet ported for kitkat.
for camera try changing aspect ratio it shows max 12mp. it wont matter much - pictures taken are of good quality.:good:

Yeah this mod will increase performance as it uses some tweaks.
just try if
ther is test.log file in /data folder
if ther just delete it
then flash attached file in recovery
then goto /data
see if ther is test.log or any other log file.

Its working fine for me atleast.
When u complete download please try to open with winrar/winzip and see if its giving any error.

The downloaded file turned out to be corrupt. Yes, I checked with 7z, WinRAR but showed error.
I guess, I should try in a different PC or Phone.
Ok, I've downloaded the ROM using my phone & I could flash it. But, can't install Superuser. I am using CWM 6.0.2.8 recovery. Could not check other features. Let me first sort out Superuser issue. SS attached.

lockscreen maybe possible but slow and laggish for sure..Bravia Engine and other sony things like x-loud etc..wont work fully..partial maybe but without sony libs impossible..all custom roms work 95%+ ..but somethings just nobody cant make it work as its proprietary from brands..like LG, Samsung or Sony.. and its hardware related not software.

Best Custom ROM for Xolo Q3000
Hi Avi,
I am using you ROM since last one month or so. I also used all other ROMs of yours & found this one the best. There are a few bugs in Camera, Photo Editor, Dialer etc. but I didn't brother as I removed a lot of Sony bloatwares and installed some finest apps from net including Xposed modules. Due to lack of time, I am unable to write a complete review, but I assure that I will write a complete review of this ROM.
I have two questions, though not directly relate with this ROM, but as you are Master in Xolo Q3000, I thought you are the best person able to answer my query.
I have already increased internal phone storage to 3GB reducing the internal SD Card capacity. And now, I am facing shortage in system memory. Even after removing bloatwares the system memory getting full & I guess because of updating system apps.
My question is, is it possible to increase the system memory to at least 1GB? If so, flashing this ROM will revart to original capacity? Secondly, how do I swap to make internal SD Card as Ext. SD Card even if I don't insert Ext. SD Card. May be these 2 noob questions look funny, but I think everything is possible, the problem lies in finding the right way.

Answers to ur questions-
Our phones system memory is around 750mb which can be increased by editing EBR files.
U need to reflash these files with stock firmware.
The increased space by u is going in data partition.
When u update a system app its added to data partition.
U can use this app to find size of each partition.
When u increase a partition size it remains same even if u flash a custom rom.
The size will change if u flash whole rom again with altered partition.
U can swap memories but u need to edit fstab files, in kitkat they are defined in boot.img so u need to decompile it make changes and recompile.
If u want to try please use boot.img in colorkat rom which has a changed partition. Just flash this boot.img with sptools u will get changed partitions.

Can you please provide me the link of tutorial for increasing system memory. The tutorial I used to increase the phone memory only refer to phone memory. I googled a lot but could not find a good tutorial for incresing system memory.

Yes, when system apps are updated, they are put in the data partition, but I forgot to tell you that I have merged updated system apps with the ROM using Lucky Patcher. This is the reason for which my system partition is getting full.

Ok, now I know, in Kitkat why I could not locate fstab files. I tried other options but failed. I will decompile and recomplile boot.img for that. Can I flash boot.img of ColorKat using Flashify/Rashr as I did flashed other boot images using these apps.

you can flash boot.img with your app..but as you gonna change partitions some errors may occur..always best to do a clean install..but if you are having problems do a hard reset with format all except bootloader and reinstall your rom..its more work but if the 1 way doesnt work you have to do it..and please follow my advice..dont mess too much with internal partitions cause in long term you may damage your phone..forever.

Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
wait until it boots.
After first boot read /data/test.log:good:

I think if play music is uninstalled from system & installed as user app the fc error can be solved.. haven't tried due to lack of time.. but will try soon. If any body can try pls report. @avi thanks for the Gmail additional feature to configure IMAP account in same app.. no need of email app now...

Flashed patch with colour.
In call screen now rectified.
Messaging app has a diff look.. stalk with material touch. But working without any fc.
Camera patch added 13 mp to the camera in original ROM, also added stock cam app too.. stock camera app is again with brightness bug.. brightness goes full if you open the app and then doesn't restore to auto mode after exiting the application. Also original camera app of the ROM has better focusing.. than stock app added by patch. To achieve same clarity ie focus in stock app one need to ho in HDR mode.. @avi can i just uninstall new cam app from system?

delete
system/app/gallery.apk gallery.odex
but u will loose gallry app
to get it back just extract gallery.apk from legandrom.zip /system/app
or install quickpic app from playstore

Put the ROM in your SD card and boot into twrp recovery (you can use cwm too).....
1.Go to wipe option and select advanced wipe.
2.Select data,cache,dalvik cache,android.secure,system and hit yes.
3.Now go to install option and select the ROM.zip and flash it.
4.After it finishes flash any 4.2 kernel you like as it is not included in ROM.
5.Reboot your device.
Done....
I recommend TWRP v2.5.0.0 by varun.chitre.

good rom needs performance tweaks
according to me the rom mostly bug less the sim slots of my phone dont work so i dont use it for calls and all so i use it only for gaming and internet access at the first boot the phone was lag free but after installing all the daily use apps the phone became laggy the i flashed new suvi script with performance tweak now the phone is fine the games are laggy at start but later they are smooth

I have flashed 1GBRAMSWAP (which is my favorite i use it with every ROM) on Your ROM now the performance is Awesome.(Thanks @saurabh0291)
One thing i noticed that whenever we open any app status bar becomes so brigth that we can't read it.(you can see in your screen shots)
its not a big issue .
Dialer DPI is little Ugly i have change it to 200 using DPI changer. but still there is empty space.
Everything else like Wifi,RAM,effects are working great.

only front camera working
gmail not available
i cant down load the application from play store it is showing error 100
please help or guide to install original phone rom

Agreed Messaging is not working
but for camera u can try Bindasboost Kernel i think u r JB out of the Box.
everything else working fine.
Will be Flashing this ROM...but please can someone answer my questions?
- Does the sensor works?
- How's the camera?
- How's the data connection? Is it fast on both sims?

Instructions:
-Download the ROM zip and Place it in Your SDCard
-Goto your Recovery Mode (CWM/TWRP)
-Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache , Factory Reset, System, Android Secure (FOR TWRP)
OR
Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache, Data/Factory Reset (FOR CWM)
-Install the Zip and READ EVERYTHING carefully and Follow Instructions
-1st Boot Might take upto 3 Minutes So don't panic
-After 1st boot You MUST Do the Following: It'll Prevent 90% of the Problems You'll Face Otherwise
Goto Settings>Storage> Preferred Install Location
Select Device Memory there
And Select DEFAULT MEMORY TO WRITE as SD Card
-*** DONT FLASH ANY KERNEL AT LEAST FOR A WEEK TO EXPERIENCE POWERFUL PERFORMANCE OF INCLUDED KERNEL WITH POWERFUL TWEAKS **

for now I am facing the following issue.
1. No sound will came like No audio is coming out while ringing No sound coming, act like a silent mode. Did any one facing this issue? this was a major issue, Please provide some patch for me.
2. Imei issue manually I adjusted. Is there any permanant fix is there?
Note: I install this rom after upgrading my system partion to 880 mb
Very nice job. Really beautiful rom.
One small issue of status bar background is white which almost makes it invisible while using any app. Can u patch it for me?

First check profiles of sim 1 and sim 2...
Is there silent mode activated or not...
Second no problem with manually changed imei...
If numbers are your original imei numbers...
I have checked, even though I checked with playing mp3. Nothing helped me, my sound profile showing sound on only.
Second I changed imei manually, but I want to know any permanant solution is there?

Not booting showing blank screen after flashing
I have tried many times but after flashing only blank screen appearing for hours, please give me solution
First I too faced this problem, after increasing system partition I successfully installed, but the audio is not playing, i tried many time, better wait for the others feedback and then install this ROM..developer of the ROM or pinto must only can help this situation.

bro audio is working fine many ppl using this rom do one thing flash stock rom and then flash this rom
Pinto I tried install stock rom first, then I install this Z3, finally sound working, while I restore titanium backup, I get sound Off, I don`t where I get wrong, I will Plan to get try Z3(4.8.7) and It may be working for me

No Sound issue
Hello pinto. You did a great job. Love the rom. But i am having a issue with it that i am not getting any Sound form phone call or on speaker.
And i dont have a backup of stock rom. And problem i am having is that my Sp flash tool not catching my phone so i cant get my stock rom. Can You please help me. Please give any tweek or anything else And fix this Sound problem. Or provide me full stock rom backup. I will download that. I really need You help now. Please....
