New Version!! First Custom Rom For QMobile Noir A8 "Modded V1.1"

Iam looking into to make it more better since iam just a noob telme what u guys want? Another Rom by Me Visit HerE LEWA OS FOR Noir A8
So no Dev was taking part in the Developmnet of Qmobile Noir A8 so i thought to mod the Custom rom and i have done it Successfuly ALHUMDULIAAH
New Version Modded V1.1
Whats new
1. Resolved Msg issue
2. Added Aderline engine (still working on it)
3. Cpu Scaling to hybrid (Mean Cpu will Give maximum battery and Maximum boost on Gaming or stuff..

1)Removed Default Laucher and installed Apex as Default
2) Removed Default Messaging app and added stock jellybean Messaging App
3)Ported Google Now
4)Theme changed to blue from black setting etc
5)Walkman player fully working with song change with thumbnail left right + Clear Audio enhancment
6)Sony Gallery fully working+ Movies player
7)Acid audio modded + Dolby Technology
8)Addon of Beats audio
9)Custom bootanimation

How to Install
1) First of all your Phone should be rooted.To root your phone please follow these steps here
2) Second Install CWM Recovery from here. to install CWM recovery you must be rooted follow the first step
3) Download Rom from Here extract it and you will find Clockworkmode folder put it into root of your SD Card
4) Go into the Recovery mode turn off your phone and hold vol up + power button for a while and you will be in recovery mode.
5) First Wipe data and cache partition
6) Now head to back and restore
7) Click back and Select restore it will show you the "2013-02-09..." named like this Click it and let it install and reboot

message were not showing but when u install go sms it works perfect...

ROM is very smooth and stable, now its more than 150mb ram remains free

My files doenst get loaded in sp tool when i select the scatter file

thakyou brother i have sucessfullly installed your rom n i like it its pretty smooth. I wanna know if you can help me change the camera app of A8 as i dont like the camera app in this phone specially video camera. A9 has a better camera app.

one thing i noticed that ur rom doesnt have init.d support u just made a init.d folder in it and then pasted scripts in it..
i installed ur rom and checked the init.d support with universal init.d installer and its saying
u probabaly doesnt have init.d support.
so scripts are not running

Just an update -
Don't worry about free ram space. The android system manages ram really well.
Clears processes if your using a ram intensive app. Also you can keep a tab on auto start apps in background. I would recommend try using app in below link to control auto start apps and make ram free on your device

Recovery:
* wiped cahce & dalvik cache & battery status
* factory reset
* formatted /system
* installed the zip.
Everything was fine. Restored the ASPHALT 7. But it is not working. Unfortunately closed.
Will let you know, whether it was the problem with the ROM or mine.

dont know why, I have also faced problem with restored apps in all jellybean rom, some apps needs installation like whatsapp, zedge probably coz they are associated with withe android id of your phone...thanks though
edit - but you can make that play by installing the apk and then restoring just data

JuSt an update for everyone.... Even after a lots applications installed Need For Speed Most Wanted running hell smooth with no audio lag or whatsoever

Hmmm.. .I think you may be right.. !!!
But I am on Stock again. :silly:
I am facing this serious problem. Memory card is unmounting and remounting. Even sometimes it is showing as Data card damaged and format.
I have tried all the ROMs and there is something to do with something else not with the ROMs.
Once I lock the screen and open the lock, this happens. Even Samsung guys facing this serious issue.. Not sure problem is with the memory card..

yes excessive read and write degrade sd card life and start creating problem.......while playing heavy games you use sd card read and write a lot.....as they hv been moved to sd card.......my suggesstion shall b try not to move apps to sd card unless necessay, also dun use aap like link2sd aap2sd or such, generally people using these apps face this problem, coz these app dun move aaps completely and sometimes due to interlinking card gets unmount which could b a possibility in your case

Which Sdcard are u talking about??? Internal or External????
If it's external then do this....Remove the memory card from phone and place it in a memory card reader...Then attach the reader to the PC and format it...Do not format it while it's mounted via phone.....Use the Card Reader............And then again place it in your phone...This will work I think....
Link2Sd or stuff like that will not ruin the card....I had used it for about a month on my gtab and it was working perfectly....

This ROM is awesome but 1 bug I get in message that I don't open message setting. Its gives "com.android.mms" and stop messaging process.
2nd thing is that when I put my phone on silent mode and vibrate is on that time if message is arrived I don't get vibration on that process.

I too had issues but downloaded DroidHindi font and copied it to system/fonts directory and reboot..

This steps are for CWM users. I have not used TWRP, find it your self...
-Take a nandroid backup of yr current rom (must and recommmended)
-Download the rom zip
-Download the kernel zip for devhost
-Put them in yr sd card
-Reboot to recovery
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Install rom zip and let the installation complete
-install rejoice kernel zip and let the installation complete
-It will automatically reboot...
First reboot will take time approx 3-5 mins... Dont panic and have patience.... It will reboot...
STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED AFTER REBOOT:
-Once the device has booted completely... press and hold home button and click on the clear icon..
-Go to Settings, General Settings, Developers Option... At last you will find Backgroun process limit... select No Background processes there..
-Go to Settings, General Settings, Battery, Battery Use.. CPU power saving mode will be on... put if Off....
Now enjoy awesome perfomance... You will notice the difference....
NOTE: You have to do all the above steps every time you reboot.... to enjoy smooth performance....
Go to Security app on homescreen... There go to Permissions... Autostart apps... Deny all the apps...
Recommend to use Greenify app from play store... and hibernate the apps...
Enjoy even more smooth performance.......
FOR ROOT ACCESS:
Download and Flash below zip:

Wipe data and wipe dalvik cache then reboot..
I HAVE NOT INCLUDED GOOGLE APPS:
You can download it as below:
-google for latest gapps for 4.2.2 (gapps-jb-20130812-signed)
-you can also search on https://goo.im/gapps/
Download Latest gapps and install the zip via cwm recovery
Wipe data and wipe dalvik cache, then reboot...
Reboot will take a long time... Wait and Relax... let it complete totally...
ENABLING INIT.D SCRIPTS
-Download and install root explorer
-Open Root explorer
-In that go to Root > system > etc > init.d folder and open it
-Give all the scripts 777 permissions (means check mark or tick mark all nice boxes) to all the scripts one by one manually...
Once done reboot the device...
This will activate all the scripts and you can enjoy true performance.....

I have made heavy tweaks for performance and everything is working very fine without any force close for any apps.... You can try it... and feel the difference....
Besides my ROM supports rejoice kernel, which gives best and stable performance....
No a single time there is any problem for wifi, hotspot, bluetooh ever....
My ROM is also very smooth and mainly bugless except "camera-advance settings video force close..."
You can try yourself and let me know...
Whichever you feel more smooth, stable and bugless... you can use it.... No probs...

by activating this all the background process stops as and when the app is closed, meaning after closing whatsapp the incoming message alerts also stops similarly for other social apps.
the weather widgets would not update automatically. would this not hinder the performance.

Bro I don't play games.... And one suggestion if you are a gaming friend, then you should try other roms specially made for gaming...
MIUI is for daily usage... Calling, messaging, internet, whatsapp, FB, video, listening music...
One of the Best ROMs in terms of UI and looks.... You will love it...
For 2nd query... Whatsapp incoming msgs and weather update and notification will arrive as long as you are connected to the internet and any new msgs or weather update is there... It will only stop if you deny Autostart of apps from Security/Permissions/Autostart apps....
Uploading the ROM... it failed twice on devhost and once on mediafire... so again uploading it...

Try again with proper steps...
Which ROM you are using?
Try flashing another ROM and then flash this ROM...
It will definitely boot...

Everything is working fine. After flashing with Rejoice kernel.
It was awesome work done by you.
After Flash the rom error occurs unfortunately weather app has stopped.
Need more ram required to run smoothly.

Bro MIUI rom itself have inbuilt root access option in Security app > Permissions > Allow apps to get root access...
I have given separately for SU root access and link is working fine...
I am using it...
Try downloading again and flash it and wipe data and dalvik cache...
I dont have link for slim gapps... Pls google it bro...

Thanx bro for the review..
For more space you can delete some apps form system > app, using root explorer
Apps like Email, Exchange2, Gamecenter, Gamecenter sdk service, Google+, Yellowpage.....and other apps that you dont use...
I have done that coz I am not using these apps...
You will get some more free space... Around 25mb approx...
But take care....dont delete and system app....
Also you can try guide to increase system partition on mtk65xx by [email protected] bro in A110 Android Development Forum...

HOW TO INSTALL
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
wait until it boots.
After first boot read /data/test.log:good:​

using this rom since afternoon rom is good but noticed few bugs
1. google play music not working when i click any songs i got unfortunately stopped message
2. video player not working
3. camera shows only 8 mp but this will be solved by that 13mp patch
4. in message<settings<general when i click this messeging also unfortunately stopped

ROM is smooth, battery backup is good, themed nicely, camera is good, love using it.
Fc in google play music, messages and misplaced end botton in outgoing call screen,

First of all @avi thanks for yet another beautiful ROM. Smooth, lag free..
Yes i confirm the bugs of play music/settings/general fc & video player doesn't play videos..& of miss places call end button (actually red dot). Call can be ended by touching anywhere on the strip... so no functional issue. Just an aesthetic part.
I think if play music is uninstalled from system & installed as user app the fc error can be solved.. haven't tried due to lack of time.. but will try soon. If any body can try pls report. @avi thanks for the Gmail additional feature to configure IMAP account in same app.. no need of email app now...
Super battery backup for me on first day of use. See attached ss.
Screen cast, USB otg, WiFi hotspot yet to be tested..

@avi thanx for the patch.
Flashed patch with colour.
In call screen now rectified.
Messaging app has a diff look.. stalk with material touch. But working without any fc.
Camera patch added 13 mp to the camera in original ROM, also added stock cam app too.. stock camera app is again with brightness bug.. brightness goes full if you open the app and then doesn't restore to auto mode after exiting the application. Also original camera app of the ROM has better focusing.. than stock app added by patch. To achieve same clarity ie focus in stock app one need to ho in HDR mode.. @avi can i just uninstall new cam app from system?

Which camera u want to remove??
stock or motorola camera(came with original rom)
If u want to remove stock camera
delete
system/app/gallery.apk gallery.odex
but u will loose gallry app
to get it back just extract gallery.apk from legandrom.zip /system/app
or install quickpic app from playstore
