[Q] Physical buttons not working in Android but working in Bootloader

Hi,
I was walking while i listening music with my cellphone in the pocket and i hit something, the music stopped and i had to reset the phone with the buttons combo.
After this the buttons (Vol +, Vol - and Power) doesn't worked anymore while i'm in Android system.
In the bootloader menu the buttons work fine.
I already tried to do a hard reset, flashed factory images, formatted all partitions in CWM and nothing.
Anyone could help me?
Thanks a lot.
I flashed using LG Flashtool, rebooted the phone and still nothing.
Then i turned off and restarted the phone accessing the bootloader's menu and, when the system booted up, the buttons worked.
I don't know exactly what happened, but now it's ok.

Power and volume button not working

My nexus 5 after some random reboots on latest cataclysm rom started to have a problem that power and volume button were not working at all. I have done everything and even flashed it all back to stock with no luck. The power and volume buttons work perfectly in bootloader mode but dont work in recovery or in the rom. Please help.
Another problem I just found out is that it's not charging and sometimes does not connect with PC.
I solved the issue by first flashing 4.4.4 factory image. The problem was still there so I entered recovery mode and unlike in lollipop's stock recovery, in kitkat's stock recovery the power and volume buttons were working. I then wiped cache and the factory reset and now the power and volume buttons and working perfectly in the os.

Yes, it was working fine for 2 weeks..
Very odd. I suppose you've tried toggling the navbar off/on?

I remember that i was using the hardware buttons and suddenly the home button stopped functioning even though it was vibrating, so i switched on the nav bar buttons and saw the two buttons missing.

It might be time to reflash, or even flash the stock images.

button combo for stock recovery

Does anyone know the button combo in the stock recovery to get from the android on back to the menu?
Turn off the phone.
Push volume down and power button.
When logo apears release power button only and press it again. Than keep it pressed.
You should see the factory reset option.
If not - try again.

Thank you for the reply but I wasn't trying to factory reset. I wanted to get to the recovery menu. Usually when you get to the point where there's the green android guy on his back you can hold power down and tap volume up the menu will pop up. It's not working for this phone. Is it different on this phone because of the assistant button?
