Amazon Prime Music not compatible? Where to download? - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

It seems like Amazon Prime Music does not work with this phone as the app in the Playstore says it is not compatible. Does anyone have this app working on their 1+1? If so, which version and if you can kindly post a link to where one can download it?
Thanks.

You can download it using the Amazon app store

PAPB0007 is correct. I got my GF a OPO also and had to install the amazon app store and then download it from there. I can confirm it opens and loads just fine also.

Since OP changed the One product name (or the other string, I dont remember), you can no longer install it from google.
It used to be possible before.
Same problem than X-Com, but EA mobile fixed XCom in 10 days after my mail while Amazon just sent me "we sent the request to the team"

You could also install the Chrome extension: AKP downloader and follow the instructions. Then you can download any app APK from playstore (assuming you have purchased or it is free).

Not sure if this works (or for that case google video) but an app called Market Enabler can spoof your SIM id and unlock country specific apps within the play store so that may work for google video too.
Market Enabler can be found using google

i think you are going to need to connect to a VPN if i'm not wrong. i think google video is currently only for the US. so you are going to need a US IP to stream the videos.

The Kindle app only works with books that you bought through Amazon.

Wrong, just move your mobi files to the kindle folder in the internal sdcard

The kindle app on my Galaxy s2 would allow you to select your own books stored on the external SD card. The device option is missing on the TF300 app
Also when you click on store it would be a store contained within the app. On my TF300 it just opens a web link to amazon.

That's why I said it doesn't work; I did that.
Seems the TF300 app is the problem.

[APP] CircleLauncher (complete version) available in Amazon market

I'm discovering this app and it seems to be a good alternative to folders. Have you tried it and what's your opinion ?

I purchased it a while ago and thought it was alright. Its nice for cleaning up your home screen but it gets annoying sometimes. I kind of like just having a select number of apps ready for me to click on instead of expanding the circle launcher widget then launching my app. I ended up refunding it.

Thanks for your feedback.
One point i forgot to tell : the complete version is free in Amazon market today

I have yet another silly game as my free app in Amazon today. I do see a free "Lite" version though. Thanks for the tip, gonna try this out.
I use it on my EVO View 4G. Works well and doesn't seem to have a limit (within reason) to the number of apps you can include. I prefer ICS folders, when available, though.

With ICS's ability to make folders anywhere, even in docks, I'm pretty good with stock.
I'd love it if I could find a launcher that has one feature from Blur that I use extensively - a folder in the apps drawer that lists apps in order of usage, called Frequently Used. Then, I'd be perfectly set.

On Google Play obviously.
It says:
'At the moment, the Beta version is available only for those with Tegra 3 devices'
Maybe that means it will come to others later?
Tried it on my n7. Its awesome so far.
Has support for a controller, so does that mean its likely to support Xperia PLAY controls?
Dont think so.

Stock Calendar app

Hi.
As you might know Google has recently updated stock calendar app. My nexus one ( Gingerbread) nexus 7(JB) received the update without an issue but somehow my Infinity still insists not updating the app. Is there anything I could do? I just don't want to install from Google Play separately.

I'm not sure if I got it either. What is the version number for the new Calendar app?
Google 'Google Calendar apk' and install through the Browser instead of the play store app

You can just "disable" the original Calendar app in Settings->Apps. I've done exactly that - now, only the new Google calendar shows up...
