It's got features, that seem somewhat limiting to our G3. A YT vid would be nice:good:
Hope you don't mind. I'm on Sprint and just want to see what kinda Dev is going on. This is great. Cm11 or liquid smooth. Something very clean. Thanks for letting me poke my head in.
Miui would be awesome
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Free mobile app
Optimized stock with dark themed g flex or g2 ui, and lockscreen, theme enabled, and overall tweak ( coming from note 3, stock g3 app loading is noticeablely slower )
Edit: just got the phone yesterday, noticing touch is sometime inaccurate. I'd be scroll down a page and it'd register as a touch. Sometime I'd touch to open an app and it wouldn't even register. The stock rom needs work. Of course all the att stuff need to go. I personally don't like aosp, many issues usually not dependable sometimes

As in AOSP, or are you referring to stock LG? If you are speaking of AOSP, agreed this would be the ultimate quickness
Ok weird question when your in twrp do you notice how Smooth it is compared to using the phone in general like seeing a different animal waiting to be let out of it's cage!

I'm patiently waiting for AOSP. Like some CM or Paranoid. I seen they got a Alpha for the Tmoblie variant. Boots but I believe the camera doesn't work and a few other things.

Would love some SlimKat!
I dont know if Bigfau has this phone or not, but he made excellent (stock based) roms for G2. I love optimized stock based roms with a few aosp features baked in.

I had g2 for a few days. G2 has some excellent stock based roms. I don't have unrealistic hopes, would be very happy with just one lol
Wondering if Beanstalk is a possibility. I help design the logo for it. That was an awesome slim type rom. On another note. I would be happy if we get radios to flash. My house has horrible reception. I have only 2 spots that I have to stand in, in order to make/receive calls. Orlando area.
@task650 would be kul to have you build an AOKP:good:

After work tonight I'm gonna dive in and unlock my HOX bootloader and dive in to some new ROM's. I see there are now a multitude of choices here, and I am wondering if I could get some feedback regarding which ones are viewed best. Fast, clean, best battery life, customizability... so many criteria I'm a bit confused. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.
This should be in Q&A but try clean ROM it's the best in my opinion.....now prepare to be flamed...

FLAME!
i'm sure the mods will move this at some point.
personally, i like clean rom DE, sense is pretty, but it's such a huge resource hog still, aosp ICS is so much lighter on ram, even in its faux aosp iteration on our phones.

Duuude, you're sooo stooopid.
Just kidding.
Its not that hard. If you intend to flash the "typical" way using CWM, and not mess with desktop installers then that excludes Magnolia and Sirius (these were released before the bootloader was unlocked) . At least until they are updated to flash via CWM.
There is a stock deodexed 1.85 ROM, and a 1.88 ROM. But as the names tell you, they are just stock ROMs, just deodexed. Good if you want a base to do other mods (which often require deodex) but that's about it. And 1.88 is based on an Asian ROM, and it breaks AT&T LTE.
What you have left is only 3 custom ROMs. CleanROM DE has an AOSP look, if you are looking for that. If you like Sense, pick CleanROM or Nocturnal. CleanROM is somewhat close to stock, but with performance tweaks and other mods, and de-bloated. Nocturnal looks to have lots of customization options when you flash thanks to AROMA. I haven't personally tried Nocturnal. But I've used ROMs on a previous phone that utilize AROMA, and its very slick.
If you want to see the current ROMs listed in an organized fashion, have a look at my index thread (shameless self promotion):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671237
That's all there is to it, at least for now. Hopefully we'll have a lot more to choose from soon! That's one first world problem I would like to have . . .
Can't go wrong with cleanrom, I've been using his roms on a few phones, I love it.

For me I came to the HOX from my GNex so my assumption was I was going to want to get closer to AOSP / CM9 as soon as possible.
I was surprised to really enjoy a few different tweaks to Sense that HTC has done like the lock screen shortcuts which I use constantly.
For me I have been sticking with CleanROM since the 2.0 version. It has been very very stable and the little tweaks available by default are really everything I want.
I'm really enjoying CleanROM DE. Smooth and ASOP elements are sexy.

I hope so I know since the GS III came out there is a lot of temptation to switch over to it. I had the GS II and Its a great phone but the community for the One X Is so much more welcoming in my opinion GS II Forums got a little hateful made you afraid to ask questions. I know you don't ask for donations but you put in the time and effort to make us a great rom so its only right to show our appreciation, The great developers like yourself truly show what the one x has to offer.
Who wants Lewa OS with CM9?
Hello Friends and welcome to this very unique ROM thread.
First of all, the thanks section,
Thanks to:

Lewa Devs for the amazing rom

XDA for sparking my interest in making roms, all the wonderful comments and thanks really keeps me going

Lewa OS + CM9 isnt what some think it is.. Its a CM9 rom contraption with Lewa elements a real Mash up so to say! .
Some most likely know that Lewa OS isnt updated to ICS so I wanted to "mash" lewa in to CM9!
Also I wanted to try and play with ICS after toying with GB for so long
And I will keep adding moar lewa till im actually satisfied with it
Now for the issues:
- Same OL' ICS/CM9 Issues
- Within the pullup launcher drawer, when you go thru the apps the screen flickers for a fraction of a second. It happens every so often, but a way to fix it is installing Moar apps!
- when trying to install wallpapers from pressing the menu button, it will say *failed* so a workaround is to go to settings and tap System and change wallpaper from there
- The theme icon on the home screen doesnt work because its for Lewa and all the themes are made for GB, but cm9 themes should work
- The launcher drawer does not alphabetize the apps so it may throw people off a bit lol

Preludedrew is also working on getting WiMax working on the OG EVO (Supersonic). I haven't talked to him in a few days, but I know he was working and testing it. You should check out his IRC Channel #Evervolv on freenode.net
So, newbs open up a new request thread for jellybean every other day.
I'm started this thread (and the moderators stickied it) so you guys can talk on and on about it here while we (teamacid) continue to NOT work on it.
The reason we are NOT working on it, is because we are in the middle of porting our device to the aries kernel on the ICS branch. This will making porting to JellyBean easier... after we port to aries on the ICS branch.
As promised, I'm going to go into detail about aries in a separate post in this thread and reference it here when it is done.
For now, stop opening new threads on:
Why don't we have jellybean?
Can I request jellybean?
Where is android 4.1.x/4.2.x for this device?
...etc...
We will let you know when we start working on JellyBean so you can start messing around with it.
Of course, after that is going we can start on AOKP, and other "Built from source Roms".
I think this thread should be sticky for the newbs to see lol

If not worse... I have no clue, I haven't tried it. I'm sure it would have every problem ics would have. If not more.
It doesn't have all of the ics changes cherry-picked.
I'd rather focus my attention on ics. Finish whack-a-mole there and then go on to jb.
I know that people get anxious, we felt this when we started porting cm7.
Wait for it and it will come.

I'm just saying don't settle down for CM9, accept that it's the best.. for now. Not always. CM10 has some great new additions that I love. I have a Vibrant and a SGS 4G, CM10 is the only reason I'm still choosing the Vibrant.
Other than my Nexus S is out for repair. xD

Yup. I was running CM10 on my at&t note.
Here is another few reasons I'm not so keen on rushing to get it on sgs4g.
* Bugs (every cm10 build comes with a new nightly bug. Its a preview release!)
* Not all apps on the market support JB yet.
* I dislike porting to a buggy rom. I will honestly wait until a more stable RC is released.
For now my note is back to stock with a manual root.
I might go back to cm 9.1.0. Idk.
I like the s-pen applications anyways.
Thanks for posting...it's a sensible approach for sure. From all the other devices I've seen, the kernel is the key given that ICS and Jellybean are not that much different. Once those devices had a stable 3.0 kernel (most of the time from an ICS leak for the device), homegrown JB ROMs usually followed close behind.
Keep up the good work!
We could also port to AOSP JB I guess until CM is ready

You probably notice more bugs than I do since you delve much deeper into Android than I do, but honestly I hardly notice any bugs using JB on my HD2. It runs just as smoothly as the GB roms, and I get just as much battery life. Really, the only thing better about JB is Google Now (to me, at least), everything else is more or less the same.
I don't want to sound inpatient but where are the roms for the att varient, there's a rom for the sprint and verizon.
im really surprised too. i would have thought AT&T would have been the first phone they worked on. im so desperate for a new rom, ill take anything. even a debloated stock rom. im really hoping for a speedy release of cyanogenmod.
Thanks for your hard work devs on cracking that bootloader!
I check quite frequently praying to see some activity. It's very rare to see sprint or verizon beat us to the punch, even though reading through the thread it seemed like the rom was buggy, but still, they got to flash!!

Talking I need to know if has a ROM for my device At&t D85010d
The At&t roms is difficult to find, and i have this phone and i lived out of the us , and is very disgusting SEE this logo of at&t every day and i have issues with the LTE in my country, despite is the same band of AT&T y need to know if a new rom can resolve my problems of Conectivity and LTE in my device, the At&t rom blocked the menu in the phone for a changue BANDS: GSM - EDGE - LTE and i cant changue or SETTING a band, I need to know if is probably to find a rom like the rom of 855 or better version and forger forever the STOCK room At&t pleas HELP
You know you guys can use an app called 3c ( formally Android Tuner ) and you can DeOdex your stock ROM , Trim Partitions, ZipAlign + all sorts of other very useful stuff. You can completely debloat your phone as well.
In the mean time that's what I would just do, although I greatly appreciate a Dev bringing a stock debloated DeOdexed ROM to the table, you can pretty much just do all that yourself and you'll learn a thing or two on the way!
Check out 3c. It has so many options for tweaking.

People are working on roms they are not a quick release. Non stock roms will come it just takes awhile. You have to build a proper device tree then troubleshoot to get the bugs worked out. Once the device tree and bugs are worked out most roms will just have to be compiled from source. It will happen but I think it will be a month or two. As for modified stock that takes time too especially if you want to add modification without the use of xposed you have to decompile apk's and modify them using smali and that takes time.
more than willing to wait for a very nice L rom

The major thing I think people are forgetting is that their might be a few and/or a lot of kernel/roms ready to release already...we are waiting on The bump website to be released so that we can bump the New roms and kernels. I know that I have a built kernel waiting on that very thing and it's flash city!!! When the bump site drops I wouldn't be surprised if you don't see a few flashables drop within hours of that release. It will come I promise you that and when it does people will be fussing about ETAs on Lollipop builds. If you have been on XDA long enough you realize it's the nature of the beast...the endless cycle of why we have forums rules yet a lot of people do not abide by them nor read them. Peace out
