I get the impression that they are working through a backlog -- but you may want to contact them to get a status JIC

I ordered my dock on 1/5/2011, so I guess that I shouldn't expect anything soon.
It looks as if they are using drop shipping for the docks. They must wait until they get enough orders to get a volume discount from the supplier. Then the supplier ships them to the individual buyer. They don't even touch the docks, but handle the sale and make a profit.

I'm with the group who got emails for the 26th. I wonder where they are now. I keep hoping to see another update.

... or the lack of?
I ordered mine dock on 1/3/11, order was processed and my card was charged on 1/5/11; got 2 emails to confirm that.
Since then, two + weeks later, their web site states: Order Processing(?)
No response to two of my emails, no one picks up their phone, goes to VM rightaway and no calls back from them.
Was anybody able to speak to a live person there or gotten a response to their emails?

I am sorry to hear about everyone's troubles with receiving the dock. It sucks when you pay for something and then having to wait for what seems like forever.
If you guys get tired of waiting for the one you've already paid for from this company, there are a couple of guys in the gTab forums that have ordered in bulk and are sitting on some right now. And, at least one of them ships the same day he gets the payment.
Just thought this was worth mentioning.

I paid for 2 through it2steve yesterday and he send tracking number very quickly. I think we're both in the DFW area so maybe I'll get them tomorrow?

I ordered 2 docks from MeriMobiles on the 26th of December as well. I sent them an e-mail last week for an update and finally received a response today. I also finally received a tracking number that the package was shipped on the 15th but that it could take 10 - 14 days to receive.
I wonder how much business this company has lost due to its lousy customer service. I was going to file a dispute with Paypal if I hadn't heard something by tomorrow.

This is a query just for Indian dbrand skin owners.
I have ordered Nexus 5 dbrand skin just 2 days back. Shipping address is for panchkula,HR. How much time it will take to reach here? Also, how much time it took yours to reach your location ? A reply with location will be really appreciated.
Note to mods: I created this here to get feedback for Nexus 4 skin owners as the time probably will take the same as for N4 orders. I did query at dbrand skin thread in nexus 5 section but none replied. :/

I'm in Mumbai. I ordered, got their shipping confirmation in 2 days, reached me in 6 days (after shipping). So a total of 8 days. I'm assuming around 8-10 days for your location most probably. If not, then maybe sometime around a week. If you do not get it in 2 weeks, send them an e-mail, they'll resend it for free.

Well I ordered mine, and as per dbrand, Delivery in India takes about 6-8 weeks. I wrote them when it was 4 weeks that I did't receive it.
They asked me to wait for another 2 weeks. I still did't get it and mailed them
And they dispatched my order again.
It has been a week since they re-dispatched my order. Lets see how long will it take.
PS: Normal mail reaches me in about 5 days from Canada and I'm in Noida. So not much an Interior part of India.

my first order of nexus 4 arrived in a week .but when i ordered for nexus 7 and nexus 7 during nov. the order didnt arrived even after 6 weeks hence i mailed them and they told to ship it for free but i have to again pay the 3$ shipping.so i did still a month has been passed and it didnt arrive.so i guess i will never arrive ...dont know why but they are nice enough and issued a refund from their side...still waiting for it to come to my account...hopefully will come soon

i want to know one thing.... there are two kind of shipping:
1) canada post ($28)
2)local indian post$5)
could you please say which postal service you opted...

My first order never came to me (risky shipping). I emailed them first after 4 weeks and they told me to wait another couple. Then I emailed again after another 2 weeks (total 6).
They reshipped it a few days back (4th Dec). Let's see if it makes it to me this time. BTW I live in New Delhi.

My order arrived in 7 days via normal shipping. I lived in Noida then.

Help me solve my dilemma
People who received , which one did you opt for?
Any reviews on risky options. I see these warnings
1. It arrives on time - Excellent
2. It arrives late -Ummm. OK.
3. It does not arrive at all - What concerns me
Risky shipping is $USD, but Reliable one is $28. Its way too costly

I ordered through risky shipping. The first order never made it. They re-shipped on December 4th. That hasn't made it either and I don't have any hopes that it will arrive. I would recommend you order through tracked shipping.

I have ordered two dbrand skins via the 'risky' shipping and they've come through on time. Don't know whether I was lucky or whether the indian post is actually reliable, lol

Z3 being shipped to USA

Hi everyone,
I recently ordered a Z3 from Handtech, and had them ship to the US.
The phone right now is "being approved by customs", as Fedex points out, but wont' give me any indication of a time frame.
I'm trying to see if if anyone else did the same and how long it took for them to "clear customs".

Which carrier do you intend to use it on.

I've bought 2 Xiaomi phones from China to US. Both times, they were at customs for maybe a couple hours. Then again, I had them shipped via DHL.

AT&T - and I plan not giving them the IMEI number, but just getting a new micro sim.

Just out of curiosity, why not just buy it here, via Sony online? Was it cheaper?
As for shipping it gets held up for a few days at port of entry (Port/Airport), Im guessing it has to go through inspection. I have ordered lots of stuff from China via AliExpress and eBay and shipment gets held up at Chicago for a period 1-3 days, each time.

I'll take a few hours... it's been a day and a half.
What's frustrating is that the folks at Fedex just repeat the exact same info you see on their website -- which is ambiguous to start with.

I had bought stuff from them while in GB, and had a lovely experience. Plus I had some credit left over, with them and used it to buy the z3. I will say that their service is still pretty good. They kept reaching out to see how things were going.
1-3 days really disheartens me, to be honest. You'd think logistics would be better situated than that.

It would be customs check, logistics of carrier has less to do with that. I'm sure the government must be swamped by a large amount of stuff to check so its understandable.

Logistics was an inference to Customs... not holding Fedex responsible for the wait.

Yep, nothing can be done about that, even when I ordered a Netgear WNDR3800 router from US to India it was held up in customs for like a week lol, which is longer than the transit time, for some their package never leaves customs! At least its not that bad.

Customs can be tricky these days considering the amount of contraband that changes hands. Still, I had a phone in customs for about 36 hours so I think that's reasonable.

I guess I should also mention, the business that sold me the Xiaomi phones, labeled the package as a phone case and a phone LCD screen. So that probably helped it pass customs quicker.

Yes, definately. They scrutinze electronics/valuables more and relabeling as asscessories helps escape import duties (assuming), they occasionaly do full checks from what I know and then you may be unlucky if your seller lied.

Reliable websites to buy Xiaomi mi4c

I created this thread because for some reason I can't post in the thread about xiaomi buyers, I can't even comment and I don't know why.
Anyways, I wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with giztop.com and if so, a few questions.
1) did you have to pay customs?
2)was the phone in perfect conditions?
3)how long did the shipping take and how long did it take to get a tracking number?
Everyone is invited to post their experiences with different websites buying the xiaomi mi4c and also by answering those 3 questions if you can.

I ordered a Mi4C from geekbuying.com. It's a "big" and reliable website/store with many customers. Also their customer service support is fast and helpful, for example they included a gift in my order. I still haven't received my item because I chose the "slow" flat-rate shipping which can take ~15 days, but I'm not in a hurry.
I received a correct tracking number almost immediately after I placed my order. I'll report back with more answers to your questions

It cost me USD 277.35. And I just noticed that it arrived in my country at 31 October, so it only took like 2 days to get here. Now the slow swedish post just have to hurry up!

I used Geekbuying too, to ship to the UK, shipping was free even though it was apparently 'expedited'. TNT was on the list as a 0 cost option and a 3-5 day shipping time. Mine was ordered on the 24th, shipped on the 26th, and in my hand on the 29th. Really hassle free. Phone was in perfect condition, and bloat seemed minimal if anything at all. Bloat is a bit of a moot point though as sMIUI went onto it straight away.

Do you guys think it'd be just as smooth to the U.S? Did you guys use EU warehouse? @Flaxe @Salieri_UK

I have no idea how it will be to the US, but I guess it will go pretty smooth. Mine was shipped from Singapore, they didn't have it in a EU warehouse when I ordered.

I bought from ibuygou and asked them to check if there were any faults with the device, they said they will check. I got the device and it came with EU rom so no bloatware and they gave 2 free screen protectors. Got dhl tracking same day. They offer duty insurance, so if you get charged, they will refund you. Also very repsponsive with emails. I'd use them again

I haven't heard anything about it yet. Though, when reading at the swedish import "laws", there's 0% duty for importing phones, but we still have to pay 25% tax.
When I track the item on the swedish post website, it now says the item is being sorted at the terminal and I should have it delivered to me tomorrow. So then I will know for sure if I have to pay anything extra.

No because I paid for the duty insurance which is 5% of total. They still marked the item $20 but I didn't want to risk it. Yes packaged separately but I'm not sure if they give it to every customer.

A german website for China phones and Shops says fastcardtech.com isn't very reliable. This site has over 400 customer ratings in different forums and portals, rated 2/10 Stars. Bad support and such things.

FYI - I had an issue getting the order to go through using a credit card direct on the site ... got an unsuccessful payment email 2 times using 2 different cards ... so then I used PayPal and then the order went through and shows processing now.

I'm betting it might take time but most likely I'm sure it'll get figured out.
I get the feeling Razer is mostly concentrating on the hardware, letting Google handle their own OS.

While having them on the line I verified we'll need to be present to sign for the delivery, and it's also shipping from Hong Kong to the US. :/
Not sure if this means customs or not or it's now going to be weeks.
So if ya have a microsoft store nearby you might just go there. Closest to me is 3 hours away, thinking I should have waited til Friday and then called the MS store..

I'm glad that some of you were able to place your order. I was not so lucky. As soon as I received the email announcing that ordering was open (about 48 hours ago), I placed an order using Amex. The order was immediately cancelled for no obvious reason, but my Amex account was charged anyway.
I inquired as to the problem via email and it took a full day to get a reply. Razer asked for copies of a bill and my driver's license, which I immediately supplied. I received an acknowledgement that the documents were received and that they would be examined by the "finance team". I am still waiting...
I have never had such an experience before. Amex is quite good at fraud protection, but I guess they are not good enough for Razer. I will give them another day, before I dispute the charge with Amex. This is not a good way to instill customer confidence and loyalty.

Well this makes me feel better. All the stuff I get off ebay though seems to take 2-3 weeks whenever it's from hong kong or china..
I'm trying to bury my excitement deep down so I can sleep.

Though I think anymore, there's probably a black-list and then geographical hits. Meaning I'm sure the card companies keep lists of known fraudsters by website or company name, but I'm sure geographical denials are the norm. If someone lives in USA and never has had any purchases in China, and then all of a sudden their card is charged for 1500$ in China, better to deny first and ask questions later. This is how paypal works because it's not geographically dependent and probably marked as "safe" by 80% of the population who uses the internet.. :/

I'm not sure what you are saying, The transaction was approved by Amex. If they let the charge through, why should Razer cancel the order while leaving the charge transaction active? I never did business with Razer before, so I am certainly not blacklisted with them.

Ahhh, I glazed over the amex approved it part.. That's weird then if Razer is cancelling purchases?
You should goto razerzone.com the community insider section. Poke around there and you'll find a CSR that is reaching out to individuals about stuff like this to get their orders in, I assume, in front of the line.
