Bestbuy $100 rewardzone credit for cellphones including one x

So I purchased my One X on launch day at best buy (May 6th) and have premier silver so I have a 45 day return period.
I was emailed a rewardzone mobile deal today for a free $100 gc (rewardzone points) for any cell phone purchase and 24 mo agreement including the one x.
I will be going to bestbuy and getting the deal or its getting returned and repurchased. Looks like white is out of stock , but grey is still in stock if anyone is interested. Looks to be online only deal.

Just a heads up , I went to the bestbuy store and they wouldnt do a thing for me. They told me since its online only I would have to call in and see what they can do. I will try that and let you know what happens. Worst case I return it and reorder online. Im leading towards that anyways since I have a dead pixel.

I was directed to call rewardzone directly, through 1888bestbuy. They said I could get the $100, but I would need to return my phone and get it from reward zone directly.

Best buy was the only place you could find this phone in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada).. they seem to always have a few extra phones that are in high demand.. the thing is, it usually takes a little while for them to help you out... but at least I got my HOX on release day. the rogers store didn't even have any

All Stores should be getting back in stock this week. That's a sweet RZ deal.
Stores only carry the white in store. Grey is an online/special order.

What did you have to tell them to get hooked up?

All I told them was I received the deal in my email for the 100 dollar giftcard w/ any cell phone purchase (which i did less than 30 days ago) asked him what my options were , return it or if there was something he could do.

I just tried this, and they were snippy with me. They said that I'd have to return the phone. I mentioned that I "had a friend" who was just given the credit, and the rep said "I can neither confirm nor deny that." Sounded like a canned speech.

I am, yeah. I'm going to try again later today just to be sure. I'm interested in hearing if anyone else gets them to do this. I have and like my white one, and I don't really feel like having to go through the hassle of the return process.

Yeah I rather sell my Nexus 5 and pocket the money from the difference .

I'm in a reasonable position where I bought a Nexus 5 outright back in November because my GS3 had been dropped one too many times and acts very flakily. It probably only stays on for 5 minutes at a time so I registered and was happy to see the GS3 on the accepted phone list.
It's just going to sit in a drawer anyway so if I get the chance to smash it and get a new phone for a dollar then I'll take it. I doubt I'll make the list though.

lol, i just want to destroy that phone, not like i can really switch to the oneplus anyway until after i paid off more of my note 3 through sprints easy pay thing so that i can do my equipment swap since apparently you can't use previously owned equipment after you get the installment crap on the device

Seeing as I'd only get around 250 for my nexus 5 if I went the eBay & craigslist route, I'd rather not go through the trouble and just smash it for the one+1. I hour I get picked. If not then I'll have to go the long route and maybe get the 64 gig one. Either way in getting this phone! Lol

Well, it's a marketing gag, nothing more. They want to show that ppl are ready to smash flagships for their phone. There is no pride to be gained if everybody would smash their historic phones for it :laugh:.
On the other hand, some of the qualifying models really bring more on swappa than the price of that 16GB OnePlus One. The whole campaign has a touch of decadence that I don't like...
I think I will just keep my HTC One M7 as a backup and add the OnePlus One 64GB to my collection.

as you can see it has the specs to beat nearly any flagship out there yet costs a fraction of the price (even less than a nexus)
to boot it comes with a special variant of cyanogen as the stock ROM
This phone has been praised but just about every tech expert and i will say they are all correct, a fantastic phone that is worth twice as much!
the problem is getting one, you need an invite just to buy
so free of charge i have an invite for you! feel free to let me know why you want one
and note you must be ready to purchase within 24hrs from the time you claim the invite (payments are paypal only so have an account)
you all wont be disappointed, this is by far the best phone i have ever used and trust me i have used a lot!

How had I not heard about this phone? Ever since I got my Doubleshot, newer phones really haven't grabbed my attention because it does everything I need and none of the new offerings were really compelling.... until now.

Well I recently bought the Note 5 and decided I wanted to go back to the Iphone. Ive tried selling it but had not received any good offers. Then I decided to just trade it into Tmobile and their trade in value for it is $401 dollars. I got more than that for a year old Iphone 6 Plus. I won't be buying Samsung again. And don't get me started on Samsung Pay, why announce Chase as a partner and not have them ready for launch. BofA wants 12 bucks a month for an account with them and US Bank wants 6. I'm not paying a bank for the pleasure of holding my money.

Nobody is applauding you. In fact it is the opposite and calling you an idiot for your unnecessary waste of thread space. Nobody really cares that you want to go back to the iPhone because people buy phones first for its personal use and not necessarily its resale value 2 years from now.

Really, most Note 5 owners SHOULD be upset. The phone has not been out 2 months and retail prices have dropped several hundred dollars due to weak sales - international models especially.

After using package disable pro and disabling junk. This is simply the best note I've owned since the note 2. Battery life is stellar and the note 5 tw is insanely fast.

Sure, but when Samsung decides to drastically cut the price of the unlocked models, that drives down resale value for all versions. Take a look at Swappa or ebay - you've already lost 300$~ in the device your holding. Maybe not a huge deal to most, but personally, I was a little upset when I looked into selling my Note5 to swap over to a Nexus 6p.

As I sit here looking at my note 5 and all the accessories I have for it, probably 10 cases, several tempered glass screen protector's, level on Bluetooth headset, 2 level on wired headsets, 2 Samsung qi chargers, most of which hasn't even been used and I find myself hating it all. I prefer Nexus devices yet I thought I could handle Samsung again, I was wrong. I can't lol. I still owe on the phone else it would be gone, am I the only one? Anyone else just want out from Samsung?

I have always enjoyed compiling my own builds and picking what I like when running AOSP, something I knew wasn't going to happen with the note but none the less, I miss it. I prefer stock Android, again, my fault for thinking it wouldn't get to me like it has and also lack of updates, even security updates. The phone has its pluses, no question and has an awesome screen.. Just not enough for me anymore.

Absolutely true, if the phone was paid off or I could afford to pay it off I would go that route. I can't right now, I owe around 500 on it, they sell for less and I would then need to replace it with another phone for around the same amount. Nothing I can do right now, more or less just frustrated and wanted to complain lol.

I just don't get the point of this post..
Lets take the logic of it and apply it to something else.
I really like building computers, love swapping out parts and beefing up the memory, swapping graphics cards so I can play the latest games. Then I bought a surface tablet. I'm sad, anyone feel the same way?
Did I mention I also got every color keyboard they offered to go with it? What was I thinking.

The accessories were given to me from Samsung, part of the promotion's for buying the phones. They sent me the Bluetooth version of the headset as they were out of stock on the regular ones, I purchased 2 notes and an s6 edge +.
The cases and screen protector's came from amz trader, have maybe 5 bucks in them all total.
You do not have to understand this post, don't have to agree with it yet you feel the need to comment that you don't understand the point, ironic no? This is the general section for the note 5, I am posting my thoughts on the phone after 4 months of using it, I am over it and made a mistake on buying it.

What I don't understand is someone buying a device they obviously wouldn't be happy with then coming to write a post about how they unhappy with it.
The whole point of my over the top analogy was to draw attention to the fact that you bought something you wouldn't like, and surprise surprise you don't like it.
Usually I don't see much purpose in posting the obvious.
Now if you were looking for ways to like it then I could see a point. No one said you couldn't post. I just shared my opinion on it.
It's not ironic at all. It's just how forums and social networks work.

I've tried liking it, actually thought I could like it when I purchased it else I wouldn't have in the first place. I was wrong and recognize that now, was simply asking if any others felt the same way, you know, discussions on forums and social networks and all... that's how they work.
Not going to get into a back and forth with you over it, just seeing how others feel about the phone after having it for a while.

I'll say it does suck being stuck with something you aren't happy with. Maybe consider trading it in at best buy to pay off the EIP and get a nexus. See what kind of dent their trade in will put on your EIP. I'm thinking it's at about 200 to 250 on trade in though.

I'm in the same boat.
I wanted the S7 edge to be my new phone but the locked bootloader forced me to upgrade to a note 5 for root.
The Nexus 6P has serious build quality issues. It literally folds when a phone shouldn't.
I could trade in my Note 5 to T Mobile for 242 and that would leave me owing $170 EIP.
What else is there?
The LG G5 has some serious build quality issues (small space between chin and screen, it's plastic, lower quality screen, heat issues, etc).
Compared to what's out there, the Note 5 is the best of the rest less the S7 edge.
I really miss my S4.

Come on guys, the man made a thread to complain .... let him do so along with those who want to. Coming in here to force them to see it your way is not going to fly, and will just lead to arguements that will take away from the purpose of this thread....as against it as you may be.
He is a note owner, and he is stating his opinion just as you all have about how much you love it a 5 years after its release (yes im over exaggerating)
